Subject: Drilling in the JDZ?
Bobby, I understand that you all will begin drilling in B2 of the JDZ later in 2006. Has that information been made public to any newswires, industry magz, etc? If so could you please point me in that direction? I’d like to find out when and where this was made public for investors to read.
Regards, Bob
thanks Mark, I guess Bobby doesn't care to reply to my email. Maybe getting email from a Big 5 consulting firm thinks I'm coming there to reorganize their organization!? LOL!
anyone with L2 able to explain the MM lineup? This is farging great!
cool Mark, thanks!
are you going to ask our new CEO for some cash since you have been burden with keeping SH informed? ;>)
OT: OrangeD, in 1984 I was 19 yrs old, getting out of Lebanon (23rd MEU),and heading home to Texas for my first leave after almost two years. I remember that year well because when I got home, my gilrfriend who was supposed to wait for me went to college and hooked up with some other dude, LOL! Too bad, she was a little hottie too!

Right, but still he said it was public information. I have sent him an email asking where and when. I wil post it up when he replies from the UK.
understood, I think I will, thanks
Thats awesome news Mark! but,,
when he says, ",,information that is public is that drilling of Block 2 will start in the second half of this year", where/when was this made public? I want other investors, both retail and institutional, to know this. ;>)
Yep, I'm afraid Little Joe is another fine graduate of MSU
makun stuff up.
Good work as usual Mark!
Hey DQ, are you finobbing your way to .45? ;>)
Best of Luck Stock! Congrats going forward!
I agree Stock, so where's the carrot coming from then? The CEO's primary purpose to increase shareholder value - period.
TFA, yeah I have skimmed over the consumption tax, but I wonder if it will have have any ill effects on the sales of products and services? i.e. kind of like a penalty for buying that new car or boat? Dunno really,,
As far as savings goes and the recent report that says Americans are in the negative territory on personal savings, does that include 401k, IRA, money markets, annuties, etc as savings? Dunno that one either ;>)
WD, coco exports over 30 years ;>)
Thanks Spec, I've been holding for about 2 years now. I'm greatful I make pretty a good salary, but it has me in the upper tax brackets. I do have some in my Roth, my wifes roth, and each of my sons Educational IRA's. But the ~200k shares (majority)is in my Etrade brokerage account.
can we get a flat tax Mr. Prez?!?!? or at least get the tax cuts permanent?!?!?!
Planning a Sell Strategy
Hopefully those of who have still held, will sometime this year, hopefully, be the recipient of some huge returns. I plan on holding 75% for +5 yrs, but I will be selling ~25%. Problem is I cannot figure out a way to minimize my cap gains. I would love to sell some and stick it into an IRA or similar, but I see no way of transferring this stock from a brokerage cash account to a protected (from taxes) retirement vehicle. Anyone have any experience minimzing ones tax exposure when it comes to selling or transferring securities with high returns?
OT: if th3 damn Russians can install a flat tax system, then why not us?!?! I say 15% tax for everyone and anyone!
Thanks MArk as always,,, but do they plan to issue a PR stating such? That would show more confidence in the date if they did so, I think anyway ;>)
got to catch a flight. C-ya
OT Plat its a script written by a Dutch guy that uses freeware versions of American products. It is a good little tool
Right tamtam
I used it, still use it periodically. Its a great little script
thanks duuuude!!!
thanks Mark, interesting to say the least!
Keep in mind gents that lawyers are not only used to litigate cases but to negotiate and write contracts. Who knows if there will be litigation down the road.
The less crap I make up about the future, the better.
NYM, I think the guy was used for what he could actually bring to company, from a value add standpoint anyway. At this stage, the brink of signing PSC's (hopefully), it was apparently time to change horses. Apparently the next stage requires some with a background of which our new CEO has. Memon didn't quit. They were looking for someone all along to take his spot. You don't just come up with a CEO at the drop of a hat. Memon will be taken care of, but like I said its time to change horses.
All just my opinion, made up from my own head, like most others here. Not much better than what a journalist could tell you. ;>)
I am a true long with +200k shares.
thats a 2-way street homey ;>)
Two of us?
I think over half the country! LOL!
Oh yeah, I'm also a prideful homophobe! ;>)
Good job Mark!
hard to beat boots on the ground.
you gotta be nutz to give the AG report an ounce of credibility!
WTFDIK? I'm just a racist redneck intolerant neocon from Texas! LOL!
this AG sounds very Jesse Jackonish to me! LOL!
you got dat right mug! LOL!
thats great DQ, LOL!
I cane't qweeit youuu! LOL!
thats mighty "broke-back" of ya IDC
soon the Dom will get off the ask! ;>)
OT: Apache to acquire Pioneer's Argentinean assets
Apache to acquire Pioneer's Argentinean assets
Monica Perin
Houston Business Journal
Apache Corp. said Tuesday it will purchase the oil and gas operations of Pioneer Natural Resources in Argentina for $675 million in cash.
Apache (NYSE:APA) is a Houston-based independent exploration and production company. Pioneer (NYSE:PXD) is based in Dallas.
The transaction, which broadens Pioneer's previously announced plan to divest its non-operated Tierra del Fuego assets in southern Argentina, is expected to close during the first quarter or early second quarter.
"This acquisition is Apache's first real step in expanding our operations in Argentina, giving us a platform from which to pursue further growth," said G. Steven Farris, Apache's president and CEO. "The majority of the operated properties are in the Neuquen Basin, where Apache presently is active on a small scale. We have found the rocks in the Neuquen Basin are friendly, and we believe that we can employ the know-how that we have successfully developed in growing our existing core areas to Argentina."
Up Foe Points!
