Thanks for the heads up!
What's your thoughts on volume and action compared to that run?
Does anyone remember November? How does this compare?
Yeah, I need a lot higher price myself. I also can't see GE doing another split for awhile with all the heat he must have taken. So for the next several days it looks good. GLTY
I'm sorry, what was that, not going over 5. Good call!!! NOT. LOL, just messin with ya
It rose for four or so days, hoping a repeat of the same.
Is everyone over at DRYS today?
Are you short?
Yep, hopefully before 10:00
there will be way more momentum traders tomorrow than there are current shorts!!
yeah, that's my favorite!
You're misquoting.
Yep, a buddy of mine wanted to follow me into trading but thought he would listen to cramer instead of learning on his own. He lost it all and has never traded again.
It seems like about 100% control
If he were going to liquidate the debt to pay himself off, why do the debt in the first place? He's back to the same place as before only worse in reputation and ability to start over.
Now he could reorganize, eliminate the commons, sell the debt to new stock-holders with new preferreds shares then reissue new commons. SandRidge oil did something similar. There was absolutely NO reason the needed to file BK other then to clear the books and look all fresh and clean. I do not see this happening as there is more money to be made by letting the price run as it did before then settle into a nice trading zone.
A bunch of momentum traders just biting at the bit waiting for a certain percentage or dollar value rise to jump in on it What is it?
Wow, you fell for this multiple times?
Yes it does for now.
So if institutions are buying the short positions ( they allowed to be shorted) they can then run the price up causing margin calls etc, driving the price up further causing retail to jump in then sell into retail as it rises, once it hits the top they go short.
So all the main stream brokers do not have any shares to short or will not allow it but institutions do?
I agree completely. i never got a response to my question. Who is buying all these shares? Sure, quite a bit is dilution and covering that but just waaaay to many shares for that and retail.
I'm clueless as to that info, but it sure seems logical. So if it goes to zero, did they automatically get covered and win? So the ones who shorted the first time do not care about a squeeze BUT obviously anyone subsequent does.
I held!
Nope, people will start selling into the shorts so they can cover then up goes the price very high then good news will come out and they will short into the good news buyers.
Me two, I missed two because I got a little greedy and thought it was going up more, I got fooled twice!
Probably not, but I'm not adverse to AH trades.
Nice volume and nice start for the day!
I would like to see $14 tomorrow.
Nice green close!!
I 've got a good deal on some waterfront land to sell if you're interested. I feel if you believe this guy, you'll fall for anything!
We've had 56 million traded this week, they only needed about 18 million @ average $4. Don't you think it should have come and gone by now?
This is all I could find!
6-K Due Promptly After Material Contained in Report is Made Public
Great question as I've asked that before to no avail. I can't seem to find it. Is it a week, a day, 24 hours etc... Anyone know?
I agree, regardless of shorting or naked shorting, doesn't someone have to actually buy it. This all can't be retail buying correct?
You can bet the MM's will be the first to cover if they already haven't started already. http://www.financialpost.com/m/wp/investing/blog.html?b=business.financialpost.com/investing/the-secret-trading-strategy-from-the-1930s-that-hedge-funders-dont-want-you-to-know-about&__lsa=9d2d-9696
Dang,I thought you were in tight with the SEC because of the last investigation you were so involved with. You might just want to use this in case you forgot how things actually work. https://www.sec.gov/oiea/Complaint.html
Yep, gotta see volume!
I'm debating whether to jump in as well.
That link is from a year ago he is quoting from is very old news.
If they can't short then the pps could rise, if it rises then shorts will start to cover causing it to rise more then momentum traders will jump causing an even more rise. BUT some say that this doesn't really stop people from shorting because they know a way around the rule. I do not know about that last part and have seen know evidence to support this.
