I noticed your post, and your issues struck a sympathetic chord with me. RIGH sure seems to be in a major phase of transition. It can be nerve wracking for the investors. An experienced trader on another board gave me some things to consider which helped put me at ease. I hope you'll feel the same.
Comments from MR. D...he knows who he is...
"There are alliances between individuals from companies involved in various functions of an industry who may not merge their ~companies~, but rather, merge their resources behind closed doors.
This allows them to consolidate their efforts without having to risk capital or cause unnecessary public mis-perceptions before any major moves are completed.
Let me clarify that altho there is no public information (as of yet) on any "alliances", I was speaking in general terms. It is common practice in business to consolidate resources and efforts thru private alliances among "inner circle" execs. I do this as a matter of course in my own business dealings, as do many other CEO's.
One always sets up the appropriate chess moves before one ~mates~."
The above comments were made to others. Here is his advice to me:
"When attempting strategic alliances, the press and the rumor mills can often work against initial efforts to line up the moves, so to speak, especially when setting up sensitive agreements and alliances. Before significant financial moves can be made to support this growing industry, the appropriate "financials" have to line up with a support criteria.
The amount and volume of speculation and anger that goes on here is staggering, but I do understand that it can arise from impatience and over-enthusiasm."
As a previous post I wrote had mentioned, "one cannot ripen an apple with a blowtorch..."
Thanks again, Senor D......

Media is now reporting another dreadful case of a flesh eating bacteria. This time it's a pregnant woman. I hope she is fortunate enough to live in a MMJ state since the medical protocol for this condition appears to be aggressive amputation.
I had mentioned the Aimee Copeland nightmarish ordeal just yesterday:
Thanks, this is a timely piece of news...World attention has been fixated on the story of, Aimee Copeland, a radiant 24 year-old girl who is being consumed by a flesh-eating bacteria. How sad that one is prohibited from walking into her room and applying cannabis oil to her festering limbs before resorting to amputation. The Legislative branch of our government is responsible for the status of all laws, and we elected these people into place to represent our wishes. Their inaction has created this great human tragedy savaging the family and friends of this precious soul. In a better world, this will not happen again.
Robert Kane affirms CBIS medicine effective with flesh-eating bacteria:
Even today new uses for cannabis are being found, such as the recent discovery that topical cannabis preparations can be effective against MRSI, the deadly antibiotic-resistant flesh-eating disease.

I realize Aimee had necrotizing fascitis, from a flesh-eating bacteria called Aeromonas hydrophila.
Maybe someday responsible leadership will return if we can locate any compassionate candidates. Then vote them into office showing all the "hard-headed sleepers" the way out the door.

Nice to see the momentum for MMJ protocols moving along. Their impact on the quality of life is starting to sink in. CNN just ran a short blip about New Jersey taking a serious look at legalization for small amounts of marijuana. It looks like people, in general, are stepping up to voice their preferences. Our insightful Forefathers have penned a guideline for doing just so...we just need to follow through.
Good Morning America...

Thanks, your post was my favorite of yours, deafelephant. I was just cruising through this board.
Your comments: By my posts? I'm pro-RFMK, for sure. I'm pro-legalization period, and showing my support by investing in a few MMJ stocks. I want us to move forward from antiquated notions of marijuana as a gateway drug and associated with drug dealers, mexican cartels, hippies and grateful dead fans. I support companies who want to break through all these misconceptions and show society that marijuana is a freaking natural plant with so many benefits from hemp crops to medical treatment, plus it would save the US billions in fighting drug wars they'll never win and it would greatly add to the GDP through taxes, employment, revenue and reduction of medicare costs in prescription drugs, not to mention hemp crops would help the environment by adding nutrients to the soil to keeping soil erosion under control to providing shade over the land reducing climate temperatures.
I'm pro-RFMK, oh yes.
I agree too. Very well said. Not too sure how many monkeys are aboard while on the way to the "100th monkey effect." Link to reference below.

I recall Dr. Melameade saying something about the MMJ oil being effective treatment against "flesh-eating bacteria." Not certain if the comments were from his presentation at convention or in another news release. If you are able to point me in the right direction to locate the information, please do.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The stress of being an investor can be significant depending on one's risk appetite.
The pundits still talk about the struggle to get an American icon like Apple up-and-running. They say Apple was close to failure. CBIS isn't Apple, but they are a start-up company in an emergent field with a CEO who is a recognized world-authority in the field of endocannabinoids.
Will someone "please take my dime today so I can have another share of CBIS," and you can enjoy your handsome profit? I didn't forget about brokers...it's just a figure of speech.
It would be so nice if people could learn to tone-it-down, and "let the river flow." ...another figure of speech.

I feel a key to success for CBIS will be entering the International markets. That old cliche, "The early bird gets the worm" has merit concerning "Green Sector" emergence. If the States can't awaken to the import of changing global consciousness they will be left in the dust. We were once poised to become a global innovator in this field, but now we seem to be pandering to Byzantine interests.

Yes, I've seen most of it. CBIS taking interest in sun protection along with obesity offers business stability in non-controversial applications. The market potential in these two areas is immense.
I was listening carefully when Cheryl said she speaks with Dr. Melameade, and Dr. Afanah at least two-times a week:
Many of you have asked questions about my plans with CBIS. Obviously there are many things that I cannot discuss. What I can tell you is that Dr. Bob, Moe Afaneh and I speak at least a couple of times a week. We have a great relationship. We are trying to work something out, but we don't know exactly what it will look like or when it will happen. There are many variables.
Have a look at Cheryl Shuman's post #68789 addressing investor concerns.
So........do we still need to quibble about an eight-cent stock which kills cancer? You can, if you want to... I've got my shares.

Former Supreme Court judge blasts Canadian drug policy. This is yet another look at the momentum of public opinion concerning marijuana issues. My thanks to the "beacon of light" who posted the link to this article. Here is another voice bringing focus to a politically compromised issue which has produced costly, and painful consequences for many citizens who continue to fight for the human right to make their own decisions.
Comments by the judge:
Canada’s new mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenders are based on “very bad criminal law policy” and constitute a threat to public health as well as the concept of judicial proportionality, former Supreme Court of Canada Justice Louise Arbour says.
When it comes to cannabis, Canadian legislation has long suffered from a “disconnect” with social realities, as polls show the vast majority of Canadians support decriminalization of marijuana, while legislators seem bent on introducing laws to prohibit its use, says Arbour, who in 2003 wrote a dissenting Supreme Court opinion that argued imprisonment for marijuana use is not justified on the grounds that it constitutes a risk to public health, as the harm caused is only to the user, not others.

Thanks, oystersnbeer, for the link to the Geraldo Rivera interview with the TV personality Eric Braeden. They discuss prop 19, "the legalization issue." Though the brief video is from 22-08-10, the piece has value. Happy to see the subject of "reefer madness" raised. One finds the link below.
So happy to learn about the turn of events. You are too important to vanish like that. I can affirm that after learning who to ignore, my experience on this board became peaceful, and far more enjoyable. I might still see the "old names" in the posts of others now and then. But in my reality...it's like they all suddenly vanished. My compliments to I-Hub for the ignore feature.

I want to thank everyone for being so positive, and constructive today. I get the feeling Cheryl got "suckered-in" by a hot dispute. Her role with CBIS is monumental. Some of these contentious people appear to be professionals. I sense various obstructive factions operating for different reasons. One of them has the "scent" of a covert-op. We might even be subsidizing it. It might seem bizarre, but some people have fallen behind in our changing world. My parents were honest hard-working people, but they definitely had a dreadful case of "reefer-madness-syndrome." They were unable to assimilate the truth. Some of the "old bulls" running the show have the same problem. They can't let go of past false information. We all need to cultivate patience, and work toward opening healthy channels of communication. We are all in "it" together, whether we like it or not.

Thanks, I have learned a great deal today. And the market can keep moving along at its own pace. I'm not someone in a rush.

Good to hear from you again. Easy to see you are another professional person with valuable business experience. The conversation concerning growing business connections for CBIS in this emergent "Green Sector" is becoming more meaningful with each passing hour, thanks to you, and others with important information to contribute.
Unable to reply to your comment earlier since my response had no place to land. The Mods may have cleaned up the overall problem on their own. I assume they were finally able to locate the cause of the disturbance. The guy sure left clear tracks concerning his unethical intentions.

PS I finally caught up with my post so I can add this comment. I sure do appreciate the enriched "quality" of your thinking.
Don't speak too loudly about "limited seating." We would not want to see a stampede for shares of CBIS, would we? There are not enough shares of CBIS for every American to own even ten. Should I feel guilty for having more than ten shares of CBIS?

PS I love the reason for the late 10-Q too.... apparently, Accounting process held-up due to acquisitions.
Thanks, I find your insight priceless. Your broad base of understanding is evident. I am happy to learn you are thinking in this same direction. You helped me understand the strategic value of keeping a lid on unfolding plans. I feel more relaxed now.
From newmedman: I honestly believe all these folks are closer than you know. Or at least closer than they want us to know.
When working together in a gray area it is best to keep all the loose ends tied so the group is not exposed to one individuals problems... imo
Once cannabis is rescheduled it will open up various opportunities for some serious M&A in the sector.
Until then they will operate as separate entities with one common goal... For the movement to proceed.
GW has already opened the door for CBIS via the FDA. CBIS then opens the door for others after their approval.... and so on.....
I also believe CBIS has made some great partners already this year without having to merge with a stinky pink sheet company..... The bad apples tend to spoil the bunch.
Thanks again,

Thanks for posting the Times Herald article from today about PTSD. On the surface, it looks like the military is getting serious. However, after reading what the man-in-charge has to say, I have a few concerns.
“We owe it to every soldier to ensure that he or she receives the care they need and deserve,” said Army Secretary John McHugh, adding that the Army “must ensure that our processes and procedures are thorough, fair and conducted in accordance with appropriate, consistent medical standards.”
According to Dr. Paul, the military doesn't appear to have any effective treatments for PTSD. What has been their standard treatment for PTSD up until now? According to the article, the military has been "reversing" the diagnosis of PTSD which, apparently, saves the country a lot of money.
The last sentence in the paragraph above by Secretary McHugh about the Army ensuring processes, and procedures which are in accordance with "appropriate consistent medical practices" worries me. Is he just talking about the "fairness" of the evaluation process for PTSD or is Secretary McHugh making a political statement too before trying to work things out with Washington's Senator Murray? His comment may be a convenient way to dismiss the value of MMJ for treating PTSD. Our Veterans might see some precious life-saving benefits if Secretary McHugh could have a "heart-to-heart" talk with Dr. Paul about this vital issue. Doing nothing creates more disturbing statistics nobody wants to see.

Your input is always appreciated since you behave as a serious investor with a sense of ethics. I admire your commitment to truth.
We may see the potential for an amazing future for CBIS while others may not. Be aware, the irritating person who arrived last night with all the negativity has a personal agenda to destabilize CBIS. They have posted more than 18, 000 times since 11-09, and they have 549 followers. Must be one of the big "thumpers." He recruits for "The Float Rockers" who advertise, "Learn How to Make Millions by Rocking the Float." Do you think 500 people working together might be able to manipulate a stock's SP? And why CBIS? I hope you are able to see this post.

I've been on the boards for months now so I have a bit of perspective concerning the CBIS struggle. I'm looking back at dramatic social changes starting from the early sixties. I realize monumental change can happen by respectful agreement. This is a time of birthing for the "Green Sector." One notices its potential for explosive growth. Time is our friend. Keeping a strong focus on the mission will pay big dividends.
MY VISION: I see the potential for a powerful strategic partnership with CBIS, RF**, and RI**. If not under the same roof, then in the same business complex to save shipping costs. One might want to get the three of them together early before they get too big. Of course, this is my two-cents worth of speculation. Don't feel like you have to comment. Just want to add that AZ should have plenty of attractive commercial property foreclosures on the market.
The three CEO's seem to be very unique individuals. Each has been picked to pieces by critics. Who expects a warm reception when encroaching into the heavily defended turf of a trillion dollar industry?

I was just checking out and noticed your post. I had just finished watching this 3:13 video clip with Cheryl Shuman. At 1:42 she gives her own testimony about being healed from ovarian cancer with Cannabis oil treatments, and this is after seven surgeries. Her doctor said he did not expect her to live past her birthday in 2007. So now its 2012, and the cancer is gone. This means something to Cheryl, and CBIS too since it was their oil which killed the cancer. This story has a human dimension, its not about a piece of paper with documentation scrawled on it stashed in a folder somewhere.
Good to see you are looking ahead too. Today's news about Cheryl Shuman may be much more important to CBIS than some people realize. She sounds very determined to get the RF** product in front of world attention. So who makes the oil for their MMJ product anyway? Not aware of this information being disclosed by corporate leadership.
This is a great step toward product recognition by someone in a position to make things happen. I hate to see the good ole USA getting "left in the dust" while the rest of the world prospers as this sector of emergent technology starts blossoming. The time for CBIS is coming too. We all know that, especially the detractors.

You are pushing the same misleading issue which has been raised here many times about the 70 million net operating loss. Why the 10K did not clarify that distinction is beyond me. I once responded to Gomez on this issue. You find my response from March 14, below.
Also, have we seen you here before you became mike1986? You sound so much like some of the others.

Re: Gomez326 post# 52128
Post # of 67853
Gomez, you appear to be missing two major points of profound significance:
1) Your continual reference to 68 million worth of debt is, in fact, NOL or "Net Operating Loss" which is not the same as actual debt. The importance of this point has been adequately covered by a qualified CPA on this board during numerous occasions. As I recall, NOL is used to offset tax burden when the TAX man comes calling. So many see it as a financial "positive" since it preserves the integrity of capital growth. The Pros may need to "chime in" again on this point.
2) Approved Shares of 850,000 are not the same as Outstanding Shares. In the hands of a "masterful leader" the AS might be seen as a "bank-in-waiting." By judiciously elevating SP, the 850,000 AS can be tapped as needed by CBIS without breaking the backs of shareholders. Of course, it may take the creative instincts of a fine concert pianist to pull it off. I suppose your assertion rests on the premise that Dr. Bob is playing a broken piano? I can only suggest that time will tell the real story. I see mental acuity in Dr. Bob while you imagine otherwise. Your perception is filtered from the entirety of your experiential past. So all is well concerning the "relative value" of differing views.

I feel the news about Cheryl is very important since it shows the direction of her thinking. This news release is positive for CBIS.
It was sad to see Congress "wimping out" concerning the legalization vote. It looks like a lot of the "good-old-boys" must have been sleeping. It was a State's Rights vote more than anything else since the intention of the bill was to make sure States which passed MMJ laws could fully employ the laws citizens voted into place. It seems ridiculous to be having this conversation in the first place? If a party claims to support State's Rights then where are these loyal advocates? I doubt we have heard the last word on this issue as long as Pelosi remains uncomfortable.
How can our politicians explain blocking Veteran's with PTSD from getting a MMJ medication which is known to be effective? Published statistics indicate the suicide rate for Veterans with PTSD is 25% higher than statistics for battlefield losses. Are we supposed to act like this issue has no importance? One candidate has a lot to say about our Veterans, and PTSD.
Best Wishes
Did you catch the latest update about Cheryl Shuman? Apparently, she has partnered with RF** to help them with their advertising and distribution. Of course, she is working with CBIS too. You find the first paragraph of the news release below.

"Both Democrats and Republicans are telling the Obama administration: enough is enough, stop wasting taxpayer money to undermine state medical marijuana laws," said Bill Piper, director of national affairs of the Drug Policy Alliance. "President Obama needs to realize his assault on patient access is not just immoral - but a serious political miscalculation. For more than a decade, polling has consistently shown that 70 to 80 percent of Americans support medical marijuana."

But a congressional investigation currently underway is seeking to unearth the dirty details, including how drug giants like Pfizer Inc. and Merck & Co. greased the financial wheels to make sure their pharmaceuticals received preferential treatment as part of the health care overhaul.

Thanks, I did not realize the importance of KannaLife Sciences. I found the interview with their CEO, Dean Petkanas, revealing. As you point out, their exclusive patent rights pertain to protocols for hepatic encephalopathy. This appears to be a narrow application with a legal cannabinoid solution.
From the interview Mr. Petkanas offers:
Petkanas told us. "Our exclusivity is narrowly focused."
But as far as the specific application covered in the exclusive rights -- for treating hepatic encephalopathy -- Petkanas was animated.
"Phytomedicines are the forefront of treating many diseases," Petkanas told us. "We're looking for specific endpoints."
The KannaLife CEO didn't close the door on possibly working with existing medical cannabis access points, possibly through lab testing for potency and purity, and through improving standardization and labeling.
"We don't want to be involved in the production, growth or dispensing of marijuana at the retail level," Petkanas was quick to clarify. "We just want to help [dispensaries] understand a little better the horticultural sciences involved in it.
"We should regard the plant as medicine and use it accordingly," he said. "But the minute we launch this program, I'm going to have the hate of the pharmaceutical industry come down on my head like white hot rain.
Many of us grasp the import of this last comment.
Our options are networking , revealing the truth, and voting our intentions into place. People are listening.

I need to restrain my enthusiasm whenever I think about CBIS expressing professional interest in the market for obesity with its projected 550 billion-dollar price-tag. Dr. Melameade points out the known connection of cannabis taking to appetite stimulation.
So we already know the regulatory effects of our endocannabinoid system play a crucial role in weight control. Where can we go from here? I look toward natural solutions for weight control which are compatible with our human biochemistry, and CBIS is moving in that direction. There is always room for another product. I see looking at future plans as a huge plus as long as CBIS stays focused with its mission.

Yes, regulatory issues have major importance. The recent Pelosi comments about the Federal government respecting State's rights concerning MMJ should be a precursor to change.
Pelosi is stuck with a lot of angry constituents who are upset about the Feds obstructing their right to obtain effective medication. Now, she has to make a professional move rather than just say, "Oh, my opinion is on the record."
Perhaps, the most tender spot of all is the current Federal attitude toward Veterans with PTSD. Is the suicide rate of Veterans with PTSD really 25% higher than the rate of all battlefield deaths? Shocking statistics, if true. Can we possibly move toward a humanitarian solution? Ron Paul claims MMJ has proven to be an effective treatment for PTSD. Ignoring this issue will not make it go away. CBIS also has something to say about an effective treatment for PTSD.
It looks like we are seeing continued activism from the States on the MMJ issue since the Feds have apparently chosen repression rather than dialogue. I get the feeling many other States will act to clarify their MMJ laws before November since the Feds have identified themselves as the opposition. People are waiting to see real change from their leaders. If not, their voices will clearly be heard in November. Bizarre to imagine a professional politician believes losing millions, and millions of votes is a good strategy to get elected. The status quo approach does not appear to be working.

Yes, there is always something in the pipeline for those with an aversion to exercise, and stress. The world seems addicted to fast-food solutions. Did you look at the very brief article about obesity in America I posted? I point this out because the market potential in the area of obesity is immense, and I recall Dr. Melameade commenting about CBIS evaluating its future input into this area of concern. Just nice to know they are researching obesity too.
People should be concerned:
About 32 million more Americans will become obese by 2030, upping obesity rates to 42 percent of the U.S. population, according to a new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The report also predicts that the proportion of Americans who are severely obese, meaning more than 100 pounds overweight, will reach 11 percent, about double the current rate.
The report's authors give a sobering price tag for these predictions: such an increase would create $550 billion of obesity-related health care costs.

I am still wondering about the relative importance of the Andrew Pitsicalis interview from the recent convention in Tucson? After all, he is the Brand, and Licensing Director of CBIS. He seemed to have a sense about where things are headed, and what Federal regulators are looking for. It sounded to me like CBIS is already working with the FDA if one listened closely to Pitsicalis. He adds a lot of potential to the communication-connections for CBIS.
The interview left me feeling like a great deal more is happening than we are aware of. Sorry, but I see the video interview is no longer available.

Dr. Melameade has been teaching about, and studying the endocannabinoid system for many years.
A bit of information from Wikipedia:
The endocannabinoid system has been studied using genetic and pharmacological methods. These studies have revealed that cannabinoids act as neuromodulators[2][3][4] for a variety of physiological processes, including motor learning,[5] synaptic plasticity,[6] appetite,[7] and pain sensation.[8]
Cannabinoid binding sites exist throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems. The two most relevant receptors for cannabinoids are the CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are expressed predominantly in the brain and immune system respectively.[9]
Some say there are more than 60 cannabinoids in the hemp plant. Cannabis Science is an emergent field of study. Dr. Melameade is able to discuss what has been discovered about our miraculous endocannabinoid system up to the present time. What is already known is mind-bending with more to come. Dr. Melameade is a recognized world-authority in such matters. Try to follow the intricate constructions of his thought processes as he discusses where Cannabis Science is headed. Why do you think he is so excited about the potential of Cannabis Science?
CBIS gets bigger, day by day. Let's face it, there are a lot of irons in the fire which is good. Strategic planning for CBIS in broad growth areas is underway.
I don't understand Americans. I go to a nice American BBQ joint for lunch with a friend, and we each have one drink with our meal. The bill creeps beyond $50 for the outing, but we pay with a smile. So now I need to witness a "dog-fight" to quibble about perceptions concerning a ten-cent cancer-fighting stock? Get Real. Something seems wrong with this picture.

Apparently, CBIS wants to have products in the area of weight-loss too. Recently, I encountered some comments by Dr. Melameade about CBIS having potential opportunity in this field. Perhaps, Andrew Pitsicalis has a bit of current information about this subject since he is Brands, and Licensing Director.
Did you see this recent article about obesity in America? Sales potential in the obesity market appears to be immense.

The report also predicts that the proportion of Americans who are severely obese, meaning more than 100 pounds overweight, will reach 11 percent, about double the current rate.
The report's authors give a sobering price tag for these predictions: such an increase would create $550 billion of obesity-related health care costs.
Eric Finkelstein, one of the authors of the report, said the prospect of such increasing rates, particularly those of severely obese Americans, is alarming since efforts aimed at helping people lose weight have so far proven relatively ineffective.
"Their weight continues to increase. Over the last 10 years, it has gone up tremendously," he said in a press conference. "This is a group at great risk of health complications, and yet they are increasing at an even greater rate than the rate of obesity."

Your comments appear to be misleading if we are talking about what Andrew Pitsicalis actually said during his recent interview at convention.
Your take from your own understanding:
Haha, you are manipulating his statements and leaving out half of his comments. Watch 6:20 on, he said IF the FDA passes it and IF approve, then we are onto phase 3 and 4 trials in 1,2,3 years. Home run! You can't miss that. It is so obvious, you can't dispute it. Nice try, Doc.
What Pitsicalis actually said during the interview is:
“...By being able to go in and work with the FDA…to try to do these clinical trials...They’re using it as a form of science so science will bridge the gap that we need...to get where we need to go.”
And a bit later, “...if we pass it we’re in 3rd and 4th stage...4th stage...we’re home run...Last stage...you know...Maybe a year, maybe two, maybe three… OK... But, it’s coming."
Anyone with enough time can review the tape , and hear these same comments starting about six minutes. It takes a lot of patience to get it right. Andrew Pitsicalis has a lot to say about what is happening at CBIS. He is the Brand and Licensing Director, after all.
