Will someone please reply to this allegation?
One of the 2 patients in Lancet report was AMD. Are you referring to the 2 new patients (London and UCLA)? Maybe 2 AMD patients will be next.
Thank you for doing that. We need to know the answers to those questions!
Not so! Many people were expecting a much bigger drop due to dilution from the new shares. I think it's great that the pps stayed so high under the circumstances. Relax, this is not a casino! Patience will be well rewarded!!!
Bottom line is we've got a great company with top scientists, stacks of patents, trials going on at the most prestigious eye institutes and successful results far beyond what was even being tested for (safety) on the lowest doses.
I have tremendous confidence in the company going forward and i think it's justified.
There's nothing more to discuss imo.
Not exactly. First of all, the lawsuits aren't ordinary bills (like rent). It's an unusual and one-time event. Why the lawsuits? I used to know but i've forgotten the details. I think the lenders claimed that their warrants should have been based on a higher share price or something like that.
The main thing is that we will soon be putting all that behind us.
No,not to pay bills. to settle the lawsuits finally.
Many start-up companies have no choice if they want to stay alive. Would you prefer them to have gone bankrupt?
They aren't necessarily going to issue shares but they need to have the authorization to do so. It's not to pay bills. It's to have enough shares to settle the lawsuits.
i don't know if they made serious mistakes. They had to take on toxic financing way back then to keep from going bankrupt. Now they will finally settle all that and we move North!
It will go to $.59 again and far beyond that!
If you'd done your homework this wouldn't have happened. Let this be a lesson to all. You might have a chance to buy back lower than today on the dilution before it surges upwards again.
That article was in 2010! We are lightyears ahead of that now!
Infuriating that every article today that mentions the embryo declares that it must be destroyed, never mentioning that ACTC's patented "embryo safe" technology does NOT harm the embryo at all!
These reporters go off half-baked...
Single Blastomere has Vatican's blessing: this statement was posted on yahoo ACTC board with no link. Does anyone know if it's true?
So what? it's just day traders who'd rather make a few dollars now than wait for a huge mountain of dollars down the road.
ELTP now hiring & ELTP EXPECTING HIGH RATE OF GROWTH
With many drugs in pipeline, Company now hiring and expecting high rate of growth
http://www.elitepharma.com/employment_op...
Yes but it's more clear now ACT's huge potential for huge gains!
and was above 1.40 around June (after being pumped in penny stock newsletter two different times. Maybe they'll do that again)...
Wrong. Curing spinal cord injuries is vastly more complicated than halting macular degeneration. And takes far more time to see results. Plus eye is immuno-privileged site (doesn't reject and require immuno-suppressants). Furthermore, the number of people suffering from macular-degeneration is huge, whereas those with spinal cord injuries make up a very small pool of patients.
Stem cells were only the wrong path for Gern, in particular, (to survive at this time in their development). They had to choose one focus that would give them the fastest results. But it is NOT a "wrong path" for ACTC! For ACTC it is totally the *RIGHT* path and is going to succeed beyond anyone's wildest dreams! Not only with eye disease cures. Also heart, blood and much more.
Read the website. See who's on board of directors. Read up on Chief Scientific Officer Robert Lanza--maverick genius. This company is totally for real and will reward investors Big Time!
Regarding amazing results of which we don't know the specifics: what we do know is that at least two of the patients who received stem cells in the trials have asked to have their other eye treated. To me that speaks volumes! (Sorry i don't have link but it's out there. Possibly in a Lanza statement from his blog).
If they are going to issue more shares to cover the lawsuits (and put this lawsuit issue to rest, permanently), they have to do that first. R/S, if any, after that.
what is the issue?
HPGS debt? Does HPGS have a lot of debt or has it been paid off by shares?
Didn't Gary say there was a joint venture in the works with a Chinese company who were going to fund all remaining trials in exchange for a percentage of profits?
Just the nature of ground floor bio-techs. No product yet, so no income, so no legit source of money to fund the lengthy research, so toxic funding, etc etc--only those who can afford to hold for a few years (and have faith in eventual success and rewards) should be here. Unless, of course, you want to spend your life staring at the screen in order to make quick trades.
We will be rewarded! but patience is required!
A buy-out could happen, which would reward shareholders much sooner (though with a smaller reward than if we wait for 5 years)...
KBLB sale for 6.5 billion=what pps?
ZincFingers: Correction to unintentional error (IMO):
ZF said: "The use of zinc fingers massively speeded things up - GMs in years instead of months"
I think ZF *meant* to say: "The use of zinc fingers massively speeded things up - GMs in months instead of years"
If there is dilution by 50% or more, at that time will stock price also--most likely--be way below what it is now? like maybe 50% below?
So far as i know, a deal with a chinese company is in place where that company will fund all the trials in exchange for some percentage of eventual profits.
Just read ZincFingers's posts. He has clearly stated why this stock has the best risk/reward ratio you could possibly find. IF you are patient. One of his posts within the past few days listed all the reasons.
ZF, please post that one again, and re-post it regularly for newbies and for everyone else with short memories.
Possibly relevant to KBLB: Ultrathin Silk-Based Electronics Make Better Brain Implants.
John Rogers, prof at Univ Illinois, has combined ultra thin silicon circuits w a solution made from boiling the cocoons of silkworms for use in patching injured neurological pathways in the brain.
Lots of articles here: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=john+rogers%2Bsilk%2Billinois&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
Any particular reason for this prediction?
The Big Pharmas should just follow the old adage "If you can't beat em, join em". So, they should JV with or buy out ACTC.
I'm not so sure about that. Read this:

LIQUIDITY Note:
"As of September 30, 2011, we had a working capital deficit of $14,716,558, and for the nine months ended September 30, 2011, our cash provided by operating activities amounted to $1,803,303. Our results of operations resulted in an accumulated deficit of $35,636,884 as of September 30, 2011. Further, we have maturing debt obligations, debt service, revenue payments, lease obligations and dividend requirements that will require cash payments. We will need additional financing to continue operations. If additional financing is not available, we will be compelled to reduce the scope of our business activities. If we are unable to fund our operating cash flow needs and planned capital investments, it may be necessary to sell a portion of our interest in our producing oil and gas properties, reduce general and administrative expenses, or a combination of all of these factors. These conditions raise substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern."
It's too bad that the stock market has become nothing but a giant casino instead of investing in companies, which was the original point of the market, if i'm not mistaken.
According to things I've read, they can't borrow shares to short that are already committed (by having sell orders in for them). So, if that is correct, it is NOT an urban legend, it's true.
THIS IS HPGS BOARD EXCLUSIVELY. PLEASE STICK TO IT!
