Yea a bit. Feel free to send more if you like. His e-mail is:
gmuer@dolefin.ch,
Remember this is an REE fund, not sure how much viable REE info they can find to qualify us but hey, if we don't make it into this one we'll be a shoe in for the next one! IMHO
Got my response back from Urs Gmuer from the REE fund:
Good day xxxx
Thanks for your inquiry.
As you might have learned we invest in the whole value curve of REE's -
mining, refining & manufacturing. So, roughly 1/3 shall be in mining shares,
only.
There are some 200 REE exploration projects under way. Our geologist is well
aware of the danger/difficulties in the mining and processing part.
Also, we look at liquidity/market cap etc. But should the company you
mentioned fulfill our criteria's, it might very well find its way into our
portfolio.
We certainly will have a look at it over the next couple of weeks.
Kind regards,
Urs

Chuckee!! wassuup? Ya know that 25 million needed is just for the feasibility study right?
To actually put this property into production even "open pit" including processing facility etc. will be in the neighborhood of 500+ million U.S.
If we are in negotiations with someone with pockets that deep, we won't hear ONE PEEP until that deal is signed.
Bitchiness has certainly increased around here, maybe it's time for everyone to just chillax eh?
I sent them a request for info. I'll let you know what they say.

This is just the first. On the Swiss finincial market.
"We received a hat tip this morning from a MetalMiner reader that the first rare earth ETF, REE Fund, has received approval from the Swiss Financial Market Authority, FINMA this morning. The fund will open on May 31 of this year and has received this approval to operate only in Switzerland. It will invest in firms involved with rare earth metal mining, refining and manufacturing, according to the fund’s website."
My point WAS that DOWN THE ROAD, when we are hopefully NOT a pink and they open a fund in NORTH AMERICA this bodes well for SRSR.

Yea Dale, i'm most certain that ALL the REE companies that will be listed in this ETF trade on an exchange! Sheesh, it does'nt take a rocket scientist to know there arent 30 companies on the planet right now producing REE's or 95% of said REE's would'nt be coming from China.
DMBAO, read the quote again before commenting!
"The funds are not organized quite like other metal ETF’s (either by pricing shares based on an index or actually taking a physical position in the underlying metals). Instead, the REE fund will actually invest in approximately 30 companies worldwide that “promise to be part of the leadership in the emerging REE industry,” according to the fund’s promotional flyer."
Thay are stating that they are willing to comprise this index with companies that have a lick and a "promise"! Still huge IMHO because we have BILLIONS.
IMHO, This quote has huge implications for SRSR long term as these same investment vehicles become available in North America.
We received a hat tip this morning from a MetalMiner reader that the first rare earth ETF, REE Fund, has received approval from the Swiss Financial Market Authority, FINMA this morning. The fund will open on May 31 of this year and has received this approval to operate only in Switzerland. It will invest in firms involved with rare earth metal mining, refining and manufacturing, according to the fund’s website. Interestingly enough, the fund lists Lynas Corporation as a “supportive member.” Lynas Corporation, a publicly traded company, owns a rare earth deposit at Mt. Weld in Western Australia and is developing an Advanced Materials Plant for the processing of concentrates in Kuantan, Malaysia.
JP Morgan made a $450m investment in Lynas back in November 2009 though it no longer is a “substantial holder” of Lynas stock. This announcement signifies to us that Rare Earth metals have hit mainstream – if the finance folks have already developed a fund to speculate in these metals, we can assume that many believe the Rare Earth metal companies are poised for growth.
Why should industrial buying organization sound the alarm bells?
The funds are not organized quite like other metal ETF’s (either by pricing shares based on an index or actually taking a physical position in the underlying metals). Instead, the REE fund will actually invest in approximately 30 companies worldwide that “promise to be part of the leadership in the emerging REE industry,” according to the fund’s promotional flyer. The concept, “mine to market” means the ETF will make investments in firms that span the gamut of mining, refining, processing, alloying etc. For the first time, we see the financial community take an almost preemptive role in developing financial products in advance of the industrial firms who have yet to secure raw material supply or make strategic investments in key rare earth metal companies.
Tell me Mr. Extreme, what kind of production do you see for the company 5 years hence?
I mean, if they are only pouring 20,000 "gold equivelant" ounces per year it will be 40 years before they get close to the first million. Who cares about another 2.5 million if they won't get that out of the ground for 50+ years?
Want to help me out here with a gaze into your crystal ball and tell us what you see about the potential to get to 500,000 + gold equivalent ounces per year? Thanks.
By the way i'm long and voted yes for the reverse, i see it as a 50/50 proposition.
Nice find sende. He claims they could be up and running in 4-5 years however the indiginous peoples (farmers with pitch forks and torches) may put that out another decade, HA! Thats why they got such a bargain on the property.
Only 7 kilometers. We have nearly twice that and even though thier grades are higher, we are getting higher grades as we go DEEPER! We have had grades over 1% Nb in the SE zone + the rare earths.
Me thinks we can beat them to market by at least 2 years. IMHO
Me thinks there will be weeping and nashing of teeth :(
Excellent post web. What a great board mod you have proven yourself to be.
Thanks for your efforts, it continues to blow my mind the level of investor intelegence we have on this board... simply amazing!
Well chuck i've said it before and i'll say it again...
I know it ain't pretty but we closed green!
(maybe a tweezer bottom at .04)
I don't know Extreme, they got Mr. Glasscock over there.... that certainly makes the story compelling don't ya think?
Well... i "stole" another couple hundred thousand today, thanks for the cheapies whoever you are!!
I know it aint real pretty, but we closed green once again!
Me thinks something good this way comes!!!
I'm ready.
Exellent post wilkman. I've followed Jim for nearly a decade.
What the man says needs to be heeded.
14 and 15 are important also. imho
Nice exchange piecemaker!
"That is a question we will address in the feasibility study"
Not wanting to jump to conclusions but we know that this study will cost upwards of 25 million and he sounds certain this will be accomplished.
So.... as has been alluded to here by some of our most salient posters, there must be someone coming on board to pay for this process.
And if they are willing to put that kind of skin in the game i doubt that they will just stop there. Sounds like a JV in our future. IMHO
Thanks Pdog, great to see those numbers again. I think they should always be at the top of the pile, it's why were all here.
If you'll grant me some leniency here i was most curious about the Nd. The PR stated 823 ppm of neodymium and i wondered how that broke down in $ terms over the SE zone.
I know this is just icing on the cake, but if you have time... TIA.
Good morning Pdog! Missed seeing you in the mix yesterday.
Just wondered if you could use your superior gift with numbers and take that % Nd in the drill core analisys from yesterdays PR X the current market price and what it could mean in $ terms if those grades are common in the entire SE zone.... PLEASE....tia
Or even OntaREEo, i see you lurking this a.m. Or Tex, anyone?
Well oh my yes they do!
And I think there might be a big man at the helm with 31 million reasons to be concerned eh? IMHO of course.
Wow, sounds yummy! LOL
Guess their gonna have to shape up if they want what we got, lol.
I guess i'd be happier with a TCK deal anyhow....
Wow obe, your wisdom never ceases to amaze me.
Amen Brother!!!
What you talkin 'bout? I am excitd, so excited to be adding ( in my ROTH ) at an 80% discount! Who would'nt be excited about that?? :o)
I keep waitin for them 2's the dog keeps talking about! Stupid rich i tells ya.
Yea obe, and toyota produces all the cars and trucks we will ever need for the next gazillion years... see ya GM, Nissan, Honda, et all.... Comprende amigo? or are you like talking to a brick wall?
That was a strange tick. 1000 shares for .0409 after the close. Maybe someone had some cleaning to do :)
Based on your reasoning, i added another 125k. Thank you. LOL
Whatever happened to our old friend Jim6103 anyhow?
Welcome puravida! Nice to have you on board.
Keep her low, buying more on friday!! Tell that maroon thats been sellin to sell some more!
Can't wait.
Charles Oliver of Sprott Management says that Teck sold off most of thier gold producers last year to settle some of thier debt, claims they plan to jv with some juniors with good prospects and bring them to production as a way to have gold exposure... Shining Tree come to mind?
Now lets expand that a bit. If they add more capacity, 30k tpd would double those numbers. Just based on the Hawk zone at 15k (figuring a 250 day mining year) tpd we have a 10 year mine. Add in the other zones and REE's and we will need the extra capacity! IMHO.
Looks like more than $1.00 per share in earnings potential even after nsr and costs... hmmm where would the stock be with a multiple of 10?
Thanks again ontaREEo for all your effort and refreshing the board once again with the best DD ever presented here.
Whats up with all the yahoos showin up today, is the circus in town? Just sayin...
I don't know mr. expert but 18% on 20 million shares is maybe a start? What's your problem?
I like it!!! You da man E!!
Not to mention open pit can shave years off as well.
