geo..they're right so far because the anticipation never leads to what the optimists have convinced themselves they're finally going to hear...
this time, it was going to be different because the call was on a monday...
the pessimists always say "i'll believe it when i see it". and they were right for the 167th consecutive time yesterday.
maybe someday they'll be wrong... all i know is that lucy pulled the football away again.
"they" apparently think we're not worth more than a buck
deja vu all over again. right on schedule.
as always, wait till next year...
so let's get rid of the rose-colored glasses once and for all. what is a realistic potential timeframe for seeing the stock price ever getting to $3.20?
mid 2013?
md... agreed.
same old, same old.
as of today, dew, AF, and realist have more credibility than the optimists here and in tustin. they're the only ones who have been consistently right for years through today.
wake me up when a BP steps to the plate.
hayward...
they got ya again...
just so folks who responded to my note know.... i'm want this to up! don't want to be smacked again...
and somebody sold 12 million
hayward...be careful here...don't get too confident it will be different today... they have a track record...and it will take real substance ($) to change the long-established pattern...
the fact remains that we need cash without further dilution, and fast, or we're going back down...almost without regard for good news that could come out tomorrow....
have the dopes in tustin become geniuses?
1.25 ah
i hope they stopped using the atm when i went below 1.40...
day traders have to get out
and then this:
"adamfeuerstein Adam Feuerstein
$PPHM last point for now. Characterizing an ORR change of 39% and 26% as "50% improvement" is cheesy, esp when result is not stat sig.
why is it not statistically significant? i'm not smart enough...
last 30 minutes...
sure would be nice if it goes up again...$1.25 is still a joke
oh no! are we headed under a buck???
i think we still need to kill the dilution before we could go parabolic... need to sell/partner something for up-front cash to put the going concern issue to bed...then we can play
let's hope "patient survival" is the hidden gem that proves to be the biggest deal...
i suspect the teeny fractions are related to MMs filling large orders or program trading as folks get ready to hear either "go for orbit" or "mission abort".
why assume that the FDA news will be positive for the stock?
volume higher than average on no real news....the monday nite release may indeed be a positive signal...shares might be dancing around quite a bit this week while people line up their bets...
as suspect as the tight BOD is, it is indeed beyond interesting that the price is so depressed while there have never been poor results... will we ever capitalize?
Goat....
i see you're 'back' after a lengthy hiatus (welcome back, btw), which began after you had gone from consistent optimist to becoming quite bitter as you disappeared...
now that the pps is in the toilet, you're posting again, with optimism.
what brought you back? were you optimistic all along, and just impatient like me, and worn out for a while while we seemed to be dead money till some big results were due? or do you know somebody who knows somebody?
pw.....when you have the wisdom, ya gotta share it
i doubt if bavi will be earth-shattering, ever. the mysteries of life can't be wrestled to the ground easily enough for that not to be the case. it MAY become a significant amplifier in a cocktail for a few years till something better comes along. i'm hoping it may get to $10-15 long enough for me to benefit financially...and maybe physically
150?
right.
BCS....i love your optimism...
have you convinced yourself that Roche is pulling the strings, or has somebody else convinced you?
i can't remember the last time i saw the price being dragged up. while it's on low volume and probably won't last, it's nice to see it again.
i expect we'll see very significant dilution at around .70 by early january unless the cotara news includes a deal with upfront $. even that won't be enough to prevent another dilution during 2012 unless the next bavi news is big.
not quite sure why i didn't sell any a dollar ago... i guess i didn't figure that will all the positive news we could go back to a 70 million mkt cap...
with this supposedly great news, WHO IS GIVING THE STOCK AWAY AT THESE PRICES?
.94/.89 bid ask in premarket. doesn't make a lot of sense.
ask of 1 lot at .8695 and bid of 67 lots at .86, and it transacts at .86. amazing.
it's obvious that huge dilution is upon us in the absence of partnership announcement with immediate cash in conjunction with great results very shortly...as in a few weeks. you don't need inside info to know that...
even if the news is great in terms of trial results, without upfront money in a deal, they still need to dilute...maybe by another 20% just to get through 6 more months...
i can't imagine that very many potential investors will be knocking down the doors to get in to a stock that's crashed 80% in a short time where the BOD hasn't been able to sell anything yet...
so why has institutional ownership been going up? we always come back to the question of inside info, don't we?
remember how pissed we were a year ago at $1.60?
2 years ago we were $3.00
and now we need to raise a lot of cash.... there are a few ways to do it, and most ain't good.
i want to cry.
it does feel an awful lot like a prelude to another big dilution...
geo..
bingo.
frustrated... i agree with you that no poster/investor frequenting this board should assume there's a big deal all but done with anybody. that is probably fantasizing.
until there's news that improves the price, we are what we are, and need to be viewed with skepticism.
the only thing giving me hope is upward creep in institutional ownership, but i suspect that might only be because of the potential big upside here vs. the minimal downside risk for pros who can easily jump in on bad news and short the thing into oblivion to cover their straight-up loss if the news disappoints.
we gonna break a buck today?
