Marriott contract is immanent.
Hold strong everyone.
Light comin' down the mine shaft.
If by 'up' you mean sideways and down.
Van, $AEBF on the 6-month break out here.
is that .2289?
Can you share your reasoning? I'm trying to get better with charts.
Brian,
I'm sidelined for the moment, but I think this thing is far from over.
New here...
Thinking about jumping in.
Not sure what the game is here though.
News? How is this news?
You can't make a comparison to the price a month ago. They had a forward split.
I really appreciate the schooling.
But could you translate the following statement into Idiot for me?
"if you see a doji on the 15-minute candlestick, it's reversal time."
$5 million according to this Odd Stock fellow who just posted.
hrm.
It was a joke, Early.
There are some on this board who seem to reason in the following fashion.
premise 1: The promo says this should go to a dollar.
conclusion: this should go to a dollar.
As if they cannot differentiate themselves from the audience the promo targets.
And who knows... maybe they're right.
Yeah, that was the joke.
Real good advice Sir, thanks.
Per the promo comment, I've heard differently. I've heard 2 million, and 3 to 4 weeks. But I agree with your premise, i.e. that the budget and time span are very important to keep in mind.
Anyway, can you school me a bit? I'm trying to learn a bit here.
So I see here the RSI coming up off of 30 and getting ready to break 50 (currently 48.7 unless this chart is maybe from thursday).
Now, taken in isolation, that's promising, no?
But the promo letter said it would go to $1!!!
=/
Simply relaying what I've heard.
It seems plausible to me to suppose however, that from time to time a play jukes 'charters' out. If that's true, then that's a fact in favor of the claim that charts aren't always reliable in this market.
I don't hold the position myself. I don't know enough to say either way.
But as I said, I've heard folks say both things about GGRI's chart, that it's good and that it's bad.
As I said, I better get cracking on learning the basics.
Thus far, I've been able to do fairly well without that skill. But I don't doubt that it's essential.
Of course they realize that.
They're referring to the general block/restriction that TDA Ameritrade has placed on purchase of this stock.
See everyone tomorrow.
Nope. I'm not yet a reliable chart/technicals guy.
But there also is the school of thought that insist that "down here," such indicators are often not useful.
Not that I necessarily subscribe to that. But I'm sure there are some "all bets are off" situations.
But it's interesting to hear you pessimistic about the chart. It seems that there have been several here who have insisted the chart looks luscious.
I really gotta learn how to read these charts.
Some folks think it will not. I can't really say, as I don't really know how many brokers there are out there, nor what most people use.
Interestingly, ThinkOrSwim allows opening positions on this stock, and yet it is a subsidiary of TDA Ameritrade.
Good for me, as that's my broker. And if this thing runs again I would hate not to be able to flip it once or twice.
You're not coming across.
I'm asking an honest question, as I don't presume to be real acute at ascertaining the trends and technical stuff.
But I have common sense. So if someone is premising an argument that we're going to see new highs on the claim that there was a huge amount of buying at the end of the day, then I'm going to ask if another interpretation of the data is plausible or not.
I don't understand what you're saying. In fact I don't understand what most people on iHub are saying, typing as they do with little regard for syntax, grammar, punctuation, etc.
I don't know what "haha damn shorts" means in the context of my question.
just sayin.'
You don't think it's possible the "buying spree" was just folks covering that shorted at .19?
Still waitin' on that 8k eh?
My friend...
Nevermind. Good luck man.
It's almost Tuesday folks.
Can you feel it?
Because it was a fact that, at the time of my investment, I expected the price to go up.
Is that a trick question?
Hi Erwin,
Can we expect L2's on the Android App?
thanks.
That.....it's...... a....... stock....... promotion???
GASP!!
Really??
You'd have to know the answer to the question you posed me before you could sensibly make your opening assertion. And THAT's "deductive" reasoning, homeboy. Go tell your friends at P&D.
To give Max the benefit of the doubt for a moment, it's possible -- like I mentioned in one of my previous posts -- that the conflict here stems from a kink in the information chain at Ameritrade itself.
The first three reps that I spoke with said, definitely, 'no,' there is no hold/restriction on GGRI.
The one that I spoke to today said the same... HOWEVER, I asked if there could yet be some restriction that he, and the rest of the reps/agents, did not know about... And THIS he allowed as a possibility.
But again, I don't see how after four calls, and four negative reports, that informational kink could not have been straightened out.
Further, I'm a TOS user, and today - to be empirical about the matter - I tried to place a limit purchase order for GGRI and I received no restriction message.
Of course Maxy, and Lichar Tin, claimed that it was Ameritrade, i.e. as such, but I do not see why TOS - being an Ameritrade subsidiary, would not have the same restriction.
In sum, Bullox.
In.
Put a shirt on.
$GGRI an easy play this week.
Rode it from .12 to .16 thursday/friday (Hit .19 once Friday).
Pump budget is even bigger than previously reported (here, by me). 2 million now, rumor has it).
This is gonna be huge next week, IMO.
In fact, IMO, it's going to be bigger than a lot have supposed. I've been wrong before of course. But this thing has all the fixings of a crazy promo.
- intriguing sector
- huge budget
- extremely flashy/enticing web site
- tons of momo already
Again, I've been wrong on these things before. (Heck, EVERYONE was wrong on $AVVC.) But I just have a feeling we're in for something here.
Tuesday can't come soon enough.
Gold rush baby.
No Ameritrade restriction on GGRI
It's worth saying in bold, again and again.
Personally, I've called both Ameritrade and their subsidiary TOS, and on both phone calls I was told there is NO restriction on GGRI.
Those then who are claiming there is are either A) fraudulent (and pretty pathetic) short-sellers, or B) somehow misinformed by an information mis-fire within Ameritrade itself.
Personally, I am finding (B) really hard to believe considering the number of phone calls and emails that have been placed by users here in order to ascertain the situation.
Go GGRI!
I'l say it again. Just call Ameritrade. Easy peasy. 1800-369-6900
I DID call Ameritrade, both TDA and TOS, and BOTH of them said NO, there is NO restriction on GGRI.
What cracks me up is that not only is it fraudulent and immoral to spread a lie like this in order to short the stock, but it's also just plain stupid to be thinking about shorting a stock like this at this point in time.
Go GGRI.
Happy 4th of July all.
America rules.
No.
Your mistake is going by what you see minute-to-minute unstead of the facts about the promo and the general trends of these sorts if plays.
Human physiology is very interesting.
Physiology is very interesting indeed. But I think you meant the 'bone' metaphorically. So perhaps psychology was your intent.
Regardless man, I'm just giving you a hard time. And I did not see that someone had already made the "yes, he's Steve" jibe.
Be well.
That question is fallacious at worst, vacuous at best.
Please give some reason for thinking it is NOT legal, instead of poisoning the well in that way.
Right again!
I'm holding over the weekend too.
Again, I have watched too many of these promos and taken note of the relation between the size of the budget, on the one hand, and the success of the pps rise, on the other hand.
Plus, to emphasize the point again, they have put up a VERY enticing website for all those investors getting their feet wet with a little DD when they receive the promo emails.
This thing has the makings of something big. Bigger than POT* in my opinion. But that is just my opinion of course.
That's absolutely right.
In fact I'm expecting quite a bit from this one over the coming weeks.
Global question, are you steve?
Of course he is.
Read your copy of the Secret and bring on the revenue.
I hope that's a joke.
Perhaps I shouldn't touch it.
STOP TRYING TO GATHER INTEL FROM AN IHUB MESSAGE BOARD! DUDE, DO YOU HEAR ME? YOU ARE GOING TO lOSE ALL YOUR MONEY!
OF COURSE IT'S a P&D!!!!
But the ONLY thing that means is that it's a PROMOTED stock and will eventually subside in price once the promo ends. Get it?
Stop being to trusting!!!!
THERE ARE NO AFTER-HOURS TRADES.
Geez iHub.
