Maybe the Strata for Stratiform Sediment Hosted Style copper are exposed... Seem to be alot of locations where the gravel as been removed..There is more than one pit.in just this small sections..More places than there are currently quarry pits for...
any one looking for proof of borings may not find any proof of borings....LOL Google Earth Pro download for yourself its free for a week.....
Google Earth 2011
Depends what the dilution is used for maybe he bought a quarry?
Thanks Tink...good DD can be cut and pasted....http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/CR2010/2010_Normore.pdf You can see on figure 2 the various formations on this section of the Bona Vista Note Monk Bay as a point of reference..Armherst Cove see where it has the dots Wolf Head Dyke...(dykes are dams) read the report that is at sea level... note the small purlpe shape above the words "based on" below the picture...Thats the mixtite...
Lower left figure 3 Big Head Formation...layer of Mixtite... the only place on figure 2 with Mixtite is the Center of North Lucky
Layers of SSC that the PY in the middle of the unkown thickness.. the North Lucky PR says 300 feet in places... This is setting on the Basalt basement...the fluids and copper have flowed down over the eons...
NOW look at the section that Vale kept North of North Lucky...along the Wolf Head Dyke.....to the shore....
O Look what are the three new purple dots.....New Quarries...Hmmm what do they line up with the Wolf Head Dyke....
This information is 2011....you know when the said investors supposedly left
LMAO
I dont think anyone with shares left at this point is wondering...
It means what is says...in print by a known geologist that research the area...for years......under another geologist that work the area even longer... that worked for Tim Froude...Chairmand of the department that did the field work with Ken Stead.... That both worked with Cornerstone...
Check out figure 2 KATX in the right formation.... Red Cliff is also but theirs needs drilling and the six little cores missed the mark....KATX has a quarry to look at and get sample no drlling program required for the moment... Look at the pictures...
7.3 miles away but a change in elevation LMAO....
The truncation of the thick succession of St. John’s and Conception Group sedimentary rocks found in the Bonavista (map)
area by the Spillars Cove–English Harbour Fault in the Trinity (map) area, effectively removes the fossiliferous Conception
Group and confirms the division of the Bonavista Peninsula into two unique Neoproterozoic depositional basins

2011 Confirmation of Two Neoproterozoic basins.... Which you need to have for SEDEX or SSC deposits.. Whereas much dispute regarding specific ages of Neoproterozoic
glacial periods exists, it is well documented that
the Neoproterozoic glacial era ranks as the greatest glacial
activity in Earth’s history with glacial deposits identified on
all continents, except Antarctica (Hambrey and Harland,
1981, 1985; Knoll and Walter, 1992) and linked to a snowball
earth (Hoffman et al., 1998). Worldwide Neoproterozoic
glaciations have been moderately constrained with at
least five glacial periods
The St. John’s Group is over 2500 m thick on the
Bonavista Peninsula, outcropping from English Harbour in
the Trinity map area to Elliston in the Bonavista map area
(Normore, 2010). It gradationally overlies the Conception
Group in the Bonavista map area (NTS 2C/11) but is in fault
contact with the Rocky Harbour Formation in the Trinity
map area (NTS 2C/06) across the Spillars Cove–English
Harbour Fault. The St. John’s Group is made up of the
Trepassey, Fermeuse and Renews Head formations. In the
English Harbour to Melrose area, turbiditic, medium-bedded,
fine-grained sandstones and siltstones are found

Big Head fornation p 285
What does this mean ?
Go to the map figure 2 the lite green is North Lucky page 285 is the description of the formation..
Now go to figure 3 lower left hand side.... Big Head formation
The numbers at the left are the depth of the deposit
Its at O... depth unknown could be 300 ft that what the Pr says....
With a layer of mixtite which would allow for fluid flow
Above the pillow Basalt...
5 of the 6 boring location with no Copper are off to the west..
Lucky is to the east...they did one boring and ran out of water...LMAo.....
Wrong again B402 you are 73 miles..off the mark LOL
HC nvite comparison with lode gold LOL
Abundant Ca-Fe-Mg carbonates and silicates suggest that CO2-rich fluids played an important role in the mineralizing process and invite comparison with lode gold, rather than massive sulphide, environments.

Only the Vale, and Katx claims are in the box ...North Lucky is about the center of the box....the intent seems clear to me...

Yea Duck..Vec was quite Disappointed
Cornerstone has an agreement with Vec like Katx's, just better 40/60
Its about 73k away and Part of That Copper belt
Here are Those results
Cornerstones PR on Drilling Results/Red Cliff/Vec Agreement
All holes were targeting and successfully intersected the favourable reduced grey bed horizons. However, with the exception of hole RC-10-06 located north of the Blue Point prospect, none of the holes encountered significant copper mineralization. Hole RC-10-06 intersected low grade copper grading 0.27% Cu over 10.9 m (137.0 - 147.9 m) within a broader zone grading 0.12% Cu over 29.9 m (120.0 -- 149.9 m). A single 1.0 m sample from 137.0 -- 138.0 m returned a maximum assay of 1.38% Cu and 8.4 g/t Ag.
They are 7 miles apart now....when the copper was put down they were hundreds of miles away if not more.....but you know that...LOL check with your buddy Geo Newfie
Nice Map New Quarries, line line with the fault and one up at Armherst Cove....Hmmm the copper find was exposed in a pit...
As posted you are right the honey hole is 7 km away at North Lucky
The copper was trace for 20 km and is exposed South of Armhurst...Cornerstone feels the area continues to hold good potential for discovery of a significant SSC deposit. Thats why the could move so fast to surround North Lucky....they were working on it for 7 years.... and responded by staking the whole penisula.... guess Ken beat them to it...
During the next several weeks, consulting geologist Dr. Jon Thorson and expert on SSC deposits will be reviewing the Red Cliff drill core with VEC and Cornerstone geologists in order to help guide future exploration work. The drill holes were all to the north..... the flow and mixitite all flowed to the basin..the copper is exposed South of Armhurst....20 Km trail.
http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/cr2005/obrien.pdf page 110
Point is not just Newfoundland the Bona Vista....
More like 7.3 Km away.....not 73 http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/cr2005/obrien.pdf page 9 guess where the copper was found North Lucky...
http://www.cornerstoneresources.com/s/Newfoundland.asp?ReportID=386493
This work resulted in the discovery of a number of new copper showings, the most significant being the Blue Point prospect located on a coastal cliff in the northeast part of the property. Continuous chip sampling across the reduced mineralized zone at Blue Point returned 0.54% Cu and 7.2 g/t Ag over 25.5 m, including 0.93% Cu and 13.02 g/t Ag over 13.5 m. In 2001 and 2002, the southwest strike extension of the Blue Point zone was drill tested, with two holes intersecting significant copper grades including 0.8% Cu and 7.7 g/t Ag over 9.69 m in hole RC-01-01 and 1.0% Cu and 12.1 g/t Ag over 14.25m in hole RC-01-02. Although other holes encountered narrower and weaker mineralized zones, the drilling confirmed very good continuity and thickness (30-37m) in the favourable reduced units which have been tested only over 3.5 km of their approximately 20 km total strike length.
Nicely written...KATX.cant wait for the movie....

What could the LUCKY mine be compared to....
The richest Copper belt in the World is only ''' ~2.7% copper....It is huge tonnage though. Now when you look at what KAT found you can see that it is a similar tonnage....massive ....miles and miles of it....then you add the fact of our proximity to the Vale plant = less cost to get it there....then you add the fact that Vales new plant will ''for the first time'' use Hydromet Tec = processing Copper cheaper than ever before! ‘‘No use of chemicals' Look at how long the Zambian ''original'' has been a profitable mine! Then take in to account the prices of Copper then...to the price of Copper now!!!...then.....you start to see the percentages of chances that Kat will actually JV with Vale and then mine the Kat Lucky.... people will understand it! http://geology.gsapubs.org/content/31/6/497.abstract Kat deal... http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=43197437&symbol=KATX Zambia find! http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1267833742&article=40470975&symbol=NO%5EKATX and the additional copper found http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1267833742&article=41278356&symbol=NO%5EKATX Please do your own DD.... AND DO NOT LISTEN TO ''BOARD EXPERTS" ....You may not be impressed...but Vale is....and they do not get excited easily....otherwise Option to JV agreements would be given out a dime a dozen.....Google Vale Joint Venture and see for yourself how seldom this happens.

Rick - just read about Cache from a post on KATX... of particular interest is the involvement of David Lentz. This might be a VERY interesting play. David knows his stuff and is a tireless worker. He would not be lending his name here without putting in some background work! Just with his name alone I might jump in here....

Lentz has all sorts of industry awards and is obviously very well thought of within the industry. It's good that you know him personally. As I am sure you are aware, Louil Hills comes from the same pedigree as Rusty Ridge - both combined pretty much exactly make up the original "South Princess" property that Cornerstone owned for many years and spent around $1m exploring thoroughly.
Sorry for the tardy reply MAJORXVII but I've not been watching Cache as closely as perhaps I should have been. The biggest thing in Cache's favour is Professor Lentz who is a top man in his field and is generally very well thought of within the industry. I will be conducting more research on the company in the near future.
four whole post LOL And the got bought out by Cache...Rusty Ridge REE neighbor and look waiting on REE in FEB they just came out...and got bought out...Hmmmmmmm

I expected to find more post for a company that's waiting for REE drilling results any day now.
Not at all no new anywhere on them either silent like Ken
So HV is the the Cache that bought the real company B402 was talking about......Rockbridge...
So the Rockbridge numbers are better that the KATX numbers.... great...The must have issued all sort of Press release then maybe you can point us to a few....
REE-Y potential by KAT Exploration
The Premier might have receive information from Tim Froude
The Cornerstone Geo that wrote the report that RR had IOCG potenial.....He drew the maps....with Sean O Brein in 2002
So this has taken a long..long time... be in was a long time in 2010 also. What is realive is when one would have gotten in ...The report that said best location is Newfoundland for REE was in 1998....
Tim Froude's
I disagree, it has not been copied only pointed to....that is different....100 % What I find funny is that you seem not to want to make it public....like its a secret
