The supplemental indentures amend the terms of the 2011 Notes and 2017 Notes to permit the Company to participate in the U.S. Department of Treasury’s TARP Capital Purchase Program in the event the Company’s application is approved.
interesting.................
We need some news to stop this slow bleed.
Nice bounce. It almost gave me whip flash. Still green after bell
I agree Derekz. Was hoping for it to hold thru the week... to gain some stability/confidence for the next pop. may add a bit if it dips
on the 1 month the b bands are ok but the 10 day and under I read overbought. Not trying to question you, I just see something different. BTW I am long on ssccq and looking to add.
MOSCOW (AP) - Obama says Russia has lifted some restrictions on imports of livestock.
Buy some chickens
The wide daily range has tightened up. We had a a few days of steady but lighter trading. I can take this sideways trading for a bit, especially the way the rest of the market has looked.
Small volume taking down pps today. Let's see how it shakes today. Flippers taking profits my guess.

Thanks for the heads up! Can only reply public. Reviewing old post and like what I see long.
Thx...
New to chemtura.....Just started doing DD for possible entry point. Can't speak intelligently about it. For PGPDQ will just let it play it's course for the q to go bye bye.
I bought into pgpdq @ .60 and my brother at .30 I have flipped it many time and hold about 12k now. Every Q has its unique story. Chicken market was very low and cost of fuel and feed was very high ( the perfect storm). My question is what makes chemtura unique or what has changed to make this a profitable stock?
What's interesting about pgpdq is it seems to really go up and down on the belief of its investors and the occasional update. The condition of the market seems to have little power over super chicken. Yes, you can look at charts to see buying pressure etc. but my point is this baby doesn't seem like it wants $10 or more. Lets just hope we don't have another big sell off...... or hell that's fine because i'll pick up more cheapies.
Back into the 5's soon enough.
Looks like people a little scared off from that big drop. Lets see what Monday brings.
looks like people taking their money for what ever reason......
The question is_________ When to pick up more?
Kept waiting to retrace....... Guessing we will have a round of profit takers now.
I froze and watched it go up. Got some but late in the mix. Ya I'm off for the summer... Big help that was. Sad part was I just bought some 5 minutes prior..... The god's do not favor me today.
Hope you guys were able to pick up some cheap ones.
what a crazy ride that was........ may need to change my shorts LOL... perhaps i will wait so I don't have to change them twice in 1 hour.
Time to average up.
This is a thing of beauty.
Perhaps a little pull back after this nice move. time to load again for the next climb.
Ya it dropped like a rock. Missed Quarter 1 by 8 cents. Check the after hour earnings. A bit disappointing but I am looking long for Jmba.
Nice move and volume.
This is the interesting part of the last PR.
"Pilgrim's Pride announced that it had fully repaid its $450 million debtor-in-possession financing facility as of May 15, 2009. As such, the proceeds of the Farmerville sale will be held in a cash collateral account and used for general corporate operating purposes as needed"
Perhaps I am wrong but I read this as we paid off our debt and now we have cash. Next step...... remove of the Q ???????
This is huge news and the stock goes down today. Am I reading this PR wrong?

Pilgrim's Pride Corporation (Pink Sheets: PGPDQ) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its chicken complex in Farmerville, La., to Foster Farms for $80 million, subject to a price adjustment for associated inventory and other reimbursements. Completion of the transaction is contingent upon customary closing conditions, including the expiration or termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott Rodino Improvements Act and approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. The transaction is also subject to Foster Farms' receipt of $40 million from the State of Louisiana in order to fund a portion of the purchase price. The sale is expected to be completed within 30 days.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court has approved procedures for the sale of the Farmerville complex assets. The sale will be completed via an auction in accordance with Section 363 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The Court set May 15, 2009, at 12:00 p.m. Central as the deadline for the submission of qualified bid packages, and scheduled an auction for May 18, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. Central at the offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, 200 Crescent Court, Suite 300, Dallas, Texas 75201. At that time, the company will sell its assets to Foster Farms or another qualified bidder, if such bidder makes the highest and best offer for the assets. A hearing to approve the sale has been scheduled for May 19, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Central.
The Farmerville complex includes a processing facility, a cook plant, two hatcheries, a feed mill, a protein conversion plant and any associated inventory.
"We thank Foster Farms, Governor Bobby Jindal and the State of Louisiana for their commitment to this sale," said Don Jackson, president and chief executive officer. "We believe it is in the best interest of all parties involved, including our employees, growers, the Farmerville community and our creditors."
We may be on our way to last summer's high. Need to break a buck for a nice breakout.
I don't disagree with you...... Perhaps a very sad and expensive part of the learning curb.
To put our movement into perspective. We move mostly sideways and slightly up everyday for about the last month. We haven't hit the 80's (minus april 16) since october 2 and that was on the way down. It's been seven months!
There are two good sides to the argument. Hind sight is powerful but not very useful in this case. Buying an expensive machine that can't do the job was perhaps credited to a lack of knowledge. No business wants to make mistakes like this but it happens. It just sucks that it happened to us.
