Thanks crl22 for your civil response. I checked out the site and found this:
A: As compared with 2006, sales were growing in 2007 and 2008 including re-orders from new accounts based on satisfaction with early results. However the sales remained in the Initial Operations Phase for the purpose of this disclosure.
That is not comforting. We are in HD, Walmart, a Tire store, Hacketts in our country and many more outlets and we still are not past Phase I?
Some people here were proposing that we were selling up to two bottles a day and with those projections we should have been way past Phase I. Apparently we are not. That doesn't concern people here?
Remember Ken Lay (Enron), Bernie Egberts (sic), (World Com). Real nice guys, great companies; or so it seemed. Ask the former employees who lost, not only their jobs, but their retirement. Some were just getting ready to retire. And of course the shareholders.
Everyone here is all giddy and enthusiastic, which is great, but be careful.
Most people think the worst person on a chat room is a basher. No, no, no. They are easy to spot and recognize. It is the pumper who holds shares cheap and may be trying to get the pps up, so they can unload.
Why do you make a comment like that? I own a little over 1 million shares, not a lot, but I am a shareholder. You apparently have committed the cardinal sin of following in love with a stock. Love can blind. I have committed that sin before at least twice and I hope never to do that again. If you remember, we were supposed to get an NA last April, the stock went up in anticipation and then down when we didn't get it then, nor in August, when some believed we would.
If a CEO makes a statement that is public, he or she needs to follow through. If they don't, that is a red flag. I like Eric and I love his plan and am fairly confident that he will succeed. If he is successful, it probably should be taught as an example for college business classes. But if you notice, the pps is now declining, again.
We should be well past Phase I. If we are not, then that may be why he has not told us.
As I think Reagan said: "Trust, but verify".
Didn't Eric state in one of his memo's, that we would get a update by year end of where we were Phrase why? If we are doing well in Canada and other places, we should be well past Phase I.
It is now Jan 2, 2009. The end of the year 2008 has come and gone.
Fianl day for tax loss selling. With apologies to some 80's band.
Should I stay or should I go?
Should I sell or should I hold?
If I sell it might go up and then I would have to chase. If I don't, my mark to market will be screwed up. But if I sell and it goes down and I can buy in cheaper, well, whoopee.
Oh what a dilema.
Oh woe is me, I have to make a decision.
What's that you say? Just sell and go. That's not nice.
The only nice thing about all the people sellling today, is that they will be right back with any good news. But they will probably be buying at a higher level then when they sold.
That would be too bad.
May not want to add me as I keep getting deleted. But I am in San Diego, CA. Here since early 2007.
HAhaha. Don't get us started. It will be irrelevant if this stock goes past .02.
Darn, if this keeps going up before Wed., I won't have any tax loss on this stock.
Now what am I and Rocket gonna argue about?
I'll think of something.
On third thought, forget about my original post.
Nice buy DUDE!
Err, make that $425.00. As you all may know, my math skills are not too good.
Ok, dumb is a harsh word; but he should have tried to buy at the bid first. That is a $950 difference.
But anyway, glad to have him aboard.
Wow, someone bought 1 million at the ask. Dumb, but thanks anyway.
Soapy, why do you selectively take some posts as being off topic and have them removed, or want them removed and ignore others that are just as much off topic?
Just look at yesterdays and todays posts; many were off topic, including some of yours. Like when you or others here talk about your duck. It seems as long as you approve of the posts or are yours, it's okay.
I don't think the discussion about tax loss is off topic. As there are many people who have played this stock are underwater and may or may not be selling into the end of the year. And the trade or settlement date does matter for trading purposes. I am sure that is why Rocket and the people on the board he referred to were discussing it. It effects trades one might be making of various stocks, including this one.
We are not talking about Canada are we? The following is from Fedelity, a brokerage firm.
Do I use trade date or settlement date when determining my holding period for sales?
The IRS requires you to use the trade date to determine your holding period. The "Date of Sale" on Form 1099–B is the trade date for each sale. Your monthly statement reports settlement date, which is the date by which payment is due.
Rocket, it is okay to say you might be wrong.
Brokers are not the IRS. If I remember, I spoke with someone in the IRS or read an account somewhere. It is the trade date.
Rocket, I think you are wrong, it is the trade date. I have done it for the last five years.
Time approval okayed. I wonder if the stain remover would be good for oil spills? Maybe on the way over to Aussie land, someone could poke a small hole in the ships hull and let some oil out. Then our rep. can say "hey dudes, I've got some stain remover on board, let's give it a go mates".
Just a thought, who knows, might work. Some people on this board think it works on just about everything.
Last post for the weekend. Sorry if I offended anybody here. Just frustration. I was hoping for a nice pop before Christmas so I could buy my wife and kids (and grandkids) some nice presents. Now I only have enough to buy myself some Patron tequila.
Oh well, guess I will have to make do. Family is gonna be bummed though.
I'll blame it on Eric.
Rocket, well okay, you don't have to get angry and bite my head off.
See what Eric should really do is tell us Ihuber's that a big news announcement is coming Monday morning. That way we can get all the shares we need on Friday and then drink and do all kinds of illegal things over the weekend and celebrate early.
Just a thought anyway.
Rocket I respect you and Mustangs intelligence, DD, and writing abilities. But you begin to lack credibility, when you suggest that putting out good news on a friday is a good tactic for getting the pps to run north. If by chance it has in the past, that was just luck and you know it. So, what did the pps do today with that nice PR? Up one hundredth of a percent. That'll make you alot of money.
Say what you want about FFF, but he is correct in his post. We need new blood (investors); you won't get that by great PR's on a Friday. Traders will forget about it with a long weekend. Good PR's need to come out early in the week to generate continued interest.
I can't believe you defend Friday PR's
Mustang, that was a real dumb post. How is any good news inflates the pps bad. From your logic then, when and IF we get an NA, will the flippers then inflate and deflate the pps., making it all worthless.
C'mon, good news is what makes people want to buy and brings in new investors. By doing this on Friday, Eric has killed, once again, any mo-mo that might have benefited from this new contract.
This pattern is just not right and sounds awfully fishy.
And If I am bumming people out here, I am sorry, but we should be sitting at well over 2 cents now with all the news we have had lately.
Duke, dude, I hate to inform you of this, but I will, just in case you have missed the last few friday news. The pps has basically gone south, as in lower.
And could you list the stocks you owned or own, that went up on a monday following good news on a friday?
Somehow, I don't think you trade for a living, or make much money in the stock market.
Why the heck is he releasing late on a Friday? This just does not makes sense as far as helping the pps to move north.
I don't get it. s'not right man.
Topper, so you sent your driver to HD in CA and he (she) confirmed that WNBD is selling there.
That's cool, dude. Next time he (she) is in Callie, have that person drop by in San Diego and pick some up for me. I can't seem to find any here. But I am getting older and don't see as well now.
Maybe the best news today is that there was no news, especially near the close or after.
Yippee!
Settlement date has to do when you say "I DO" when you get married. That is when you sign over all of your rights, privileges freedom and money to your new spouse.
There is now nothing you can do. The MM's cannot save you. You are s##ewed.
Have a happy life.
Buying WNBD and having it go to the moon though, will salve some of your discomfort.
Thanks for your reply. I didn't see the original post in Jan. 08 and assumed from your post today that their products were still in Walmart.
That explains their current pps.
So all systems still ready for liftoff then.
Aim me at the creamery, dude.
Rocket man, thanks for posting that bit about Bell Holdings. What concerns me is this. Apparently they had a lot of products introduced into Walmart. But when I when to their stock site on Yahoo, I noticed that they were selling for .0003 and had only 150000 volume for the day.
What is up with that? Shouldn't that stock have exploded after the announcement? And what does that entail for us if we get a Walmart deal?
I am perplexed. All those products, which if sold and liked, will have to be restocked on a regular basis. Meaning that their revenue would be enormous. Based on that alone, you would think that their pps would have gone wayyyy to the right and up.
One of the mantras of stock investing is 'VOLUME PRECEEDS PPS INCREASE'. Why is that? Because people know ahead of PR's and start buying.
The NA would be a very large account, which means a lot of people involved would know about the deal. Too many unethical people in this world for it not to have been leaked or acted upon by those who know.
And that's the reason I believe we have not gotten the account yet.
I hope I am wrong, very wrong. But I doubt it.
You are assuming that I meant from WNBDs' side. I think more than likely, a leak would come from the NA side.
Also remember, Eric said he would notify us immediately if we did not get the account. But he also said that he would NOT notify us if we did or if we are still under consideration.
Well I hate to say it, but I don't think we have got the NA account yet. We didn't get rejected, but apparently we are still in negotiations.
Why do I say that? Volume, or lack of volume. If we had been approved, there is no way, IMO, that the volume would have stayed this low. Someone on the inside with knowledge, would have told there brother in law or neighbor or someone else, what was gonna happen. Somebody would have leaked and there would be buying pressure. There isn't, so I don't think we have the NA yet.
And that my friends is a real bummer.
Oh please Mustang, part of Eric's job is to increase the pps. This is a public company. Look, I love the guy and the work he is doing. But if you can put out a PR late in the day, why can't you just put it out early in the day?
As far as flippers go, again please. Everyone here is a flipper. We all will sell when we think the time is right for our profit. Everyone here states that we need new blood, new buyers. One way to do that is to build momentum. You don't do that by putting PR's out late in the day, or week.
It also seems to me that Eric is trying to dampen or kill the pps. I know it sounds conterintuitive, but your explanation to me, just doesn't wash.
I know some here will be offended by this, but, BUT, don't release good news near close or after the close of markets. It dampens momentum.
Sheesh, would someone here who has the ear of Eric, tell him to release good news before the bell, or shortly thereafter. Perferably on Monday morning.
I mean that is how to raise your pps 101.
One of these days this stock is going to take off.
Would somebody be so kind and tell me when that day will be?
TIA!
Suds, I hate to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but there are too many people, who hold too many shares for this to get to 4.00 or even 1.00 next year. I mean a lot of people just here, own over a million shares including me. And Penny says he (she) own over 56mil. You know as well as anyone here what's gonna happen when this thing starts to move. That's right, people are going to start to unload; at least half, like the Buffet way. And that's gonna kill any worthwhile rally.
The only hope as I see it, is that WNBD starts to generate revenue faster than hoped and Eric starts to buy back shares while they are still cheap and his buying can really eat up some of the excess out there.
But not withstanding the aforementioned, I hope you are right.
True, on the Monday PR. Eric has a bad habit a giving out PR's late Thursday or Friday. Just kills any long term rally. Do it on Monday before or just after the bell.
Xthis, you bet for a PR on a Friday? You deserve to lose.
Hope it wasn't a huge bet.
I think one of the reasons we are not going anywhere right now, is in that memo by Eric. We did not get rejected, which is a huge positve, but, but we may not have been accepted yet either. He clearly stated that if they are still negotiating, that he would not let us know.
I hope that is not the case, cause if that is the reason, we are still being assigned to limbo for now.
Puglet, federal metropolitan correction center, downtown. Fifth floor, level 3.
Well, the twelth has passed. Eric said he would let us know if there was a negative response.
No response, so I hope silence is golden.
Bought 490000 at .055 just before close. Hope that was a positive.
Ah, just once again I would like to say...
I wanna be the guy who looks at my account and say YEAH BABY!
I wanna be the guy who owned Secretariat when the horse won by seventeen lengths.
I wanna be the guy who gets to yell GOOOOALLL, GOOOOAAAALLL, GOOOOAAAALLLL. Except I want it to be an American announcer, giving the winning account for the USA vs Mexico.
I wanna be at bat with my team down three runs, last of the ninth, bases loaded and the count, three balls and two strikes. Here's the pitch, I swing and it's going, GOING, GONE. A HOME RUN.
I wanna be the guy heading for the endzone. Fifteen, ten, FIVE YARD LINE. TOUCHDOWN!
I wanna be the guy with eleven strikes in a row, going for the twelth. I begin the delivery, ball is hooking into the pocket, STRIKE. A 300 GAME! (did that once) I now who cares.
I wanna be the guy going for the huge wave, dropping in and MAKING IT. DUUUUDDDE!
I wanna be the guy dribbling down the court with time expiring, letting loose a half court shot for the winner. SWISH! NOTHING BUT NET!
I wanna be the guy who writes an OT post and doesn't get DELETED!
I wanna be the guy with the beautiful, gorgeous, drop dead, stunning girl, who when you ask her "THE" question, gives you that sly, devilish look and says OKAY! (you figure out the question)
Yeah, I wanna be that guy.
C'mon WNBD, get that NA and I'm gonna be THAT GUY.
