Paige, the assumption you are making is that the only dangerous chemical left behind in a meth lab is meth residue itself.
I believe you will find that there are many dangerous residual chemicals besides meth which the meth gun is not capable of detecting.
It's like Raiderman ignoring that Valimed only validates high-risk, compounded, IV meds and dreaming Valimed will be used in every corner pharmacy across America for solid dosage form prescriptions.
Perhaps a little more research may prove worthwhile.
Any news from the New Orleans show?
Crow, thank you for calling to WMFT's attention that I simply posted an OT link which I thought some may find interesting.
Nothing more.
Paige, what I recall was that CDEX would agree to manufacture the meth gun in Missouri if Missouri and the neighboring states committed to purchasing a certain quantity(I think it was 400 units minimum).
Crow, CDEx still hasn't announced who will be manufacturing the guns. Seems a contract should have been signed by now if they "anticipate" shipment of the first production run in March.
Unlike Valimed, the lower cost meth gun will need to be produced in significant quantities in order to even reach the break even point.
Sales of even a few hundred units will have no real fiscal impact on CDEX in light of the already millions and millions spent by the company and their ongoing operating overhead.
It is far more likely that the real money will be made during the pump as announcements of sales begins.
Thank CDEX penny stock promoter Capnmike for adding value to evreyone's investment. LOL
..."Come on didster, you are a rosie o'donnell fruitcake..."
Ouch, that hurt, I didn't know you hated me that much! LOL
LOL!! The only person that talks about conspiracy theories is you WMFT.
AFA Loch/CDEx is concerned, it's no theory, it's a fact.
Loch Harris was a total PENNY STOCK SCAM. Or haven't you figured that out yet? Most everyone else has, even the diehard Longs.
But don't worry, CDEX (or Loch II) is going to make you rich, but have a game plan. The PPS will not hold up long before the insiders start dumping (yes, the same ones that got rich from the Loch pump-n-dump).
OT: Excuse me, I forgot to post the link:

OT: Interesting information compiled by architects and engineers concerning the collapse of the three buildings on 9/11.
View the animation (scroll bottom left) about the construction of the WTC buildings.
Hmmmmm....
What's the "ohhh diddy pooh" for Paigster?
Here is an excerpt from your report:
"WE did go by the Baxa Booth and Valimed was not on display there.. but we did ask them about the Valimed Unit the person we talked to said that cdex was selling the Units themselves that it was a good Machine and he directed us to CDEX..."
Baxa is no longer selling Valimed at the show and why should they? Any Valimed sold by either CDEx or Baxa will come from the Baxa inventory.
Seems to me like Baxa's got the goods on CDEx. It's certainly a sweet deal for Baxa, CDEX can't make a dime off Valimed sales until all the dead Baxa inventory has been sold.
So what do you think the record Valimed sales is all about? CDEx finally put the Baxa sales from '06 into the books?
MP wouldn't be that sneaky would he? He can fool new PP investors, but he can't fool us (spit) bashers! LOL
Happy holidays Paige!!
"Go to a show to see tech they cannot even sell ??? LMAO !!!"
Exactly Kidd, WMFT tried to argue that the true validation of the Meth Gun will be determined by how many are purchased by law enforcement agencies.
With that reasoning WMFT must admit that Valimed has been a total flop- on the market for over two years and only about half a dozen sold- the remainder being beta test partners.
Baxa couldn't even sell them at steep 38% discount just to recover their investment.
Baxa clearly got hoodwinked IMO. CDEx has to sell the Baxa units before they sell any of their own remaining inventory. I wonder how Baxa got CDEX to agree to that? Maybe they threatened to spill the beans?
Paige went to the show and reported that Baxa isn't even trying to sell them anymore, "go to the CDEX booth if you want to see a Valimed" was the answer to her query.
CDEX = Loch Harris II
Happy Holidays everyone!!
Right on schedule for a Jan-Feb '08 pump-n-dump a la Loch Harris.
"...I wonder what financial arrangement there was between BAXA and CDEX re the evident return of VALIMED to CDEX...IF ANY.."
I believe that the amended distributionship agreement between Baxa and CDEX states that all future sales of Valimed, whether sold by Baxa or CDEX will be from the Baxa inventory until that inventory is exhausted.
That means that there will be no Valimed revenues for CDEx until Baxa dumps there dead inventory.
The meth "scanner" appears to be their only viable PP generating carrot.
Paige, the Xstream Systems gizmo uses a combination of two well known techiques, namely, a CAT Scanner and x-ray diffraction. The former gives a three dimension image based on density like a hospital CAT Scanner and the latter gives a unique x-ray signature based on how the crystaline structure scatters an x-ray beam as it is passed through the material (diffraction).
Non "open air", very expensive, semi-portable (i.e., if you have a semi, it's portable) equipment.
Besides, the penny stock promoters involved in the Loch/CDEx scam that knowingly disseminate false and/or misleading information seem to get what's coming to them in the end.
Just ask Tommyboy.
RA, not even worth my time. Have a great holiday season RA.
Capnmike = CDEx stock promoter and alleged insider.
Loch Harris/CDEx Landmine detection is still the number one scam IMO, second doesn't even come close:
There are an estimated 120 million landmines worldwide and 20,000 to 30,000 people are killed or maimed every year in landmine related incidents. Of these victims, 80 percent are civilians and 25 percent are children. The largest concentrations of landmines are in impoverished regions that have few resources to clear the mines or provide needed medical treatment and rehabilitation to the people who are injured.
The United Nations estimates that if all new landmine activity ceased immediately, at present clearance rates it would take 1,100 years and $33 billion to clear existing minefields. Unfortunately, landmines are relatively inexpensive and continue to be distributed in many of the more than 30 current armed conflicts throughout the world.
In recent field tests in Arizona, ADA’s SSA technology, used in conjunction with a commercially available explosive sensor, detected 80 percent of the buried landmines. Without the SSA technology, the same sensor was unable to detect any explosive vapors despite the fact that the sensor used is the most sensitive device available. The sensor was sensitive to trinitrotoluene, tetryl, dinitrotoluene and two TNT degradation products. TNT is the main explosive used in more than 80 percent of landmines.

Hmmmm... say thinking Sand.
Hang in there Drumbah, things might pick up first of the year.
Have you noticed any familar pattern? The Myth Gun could be the ELF of 2008. The PPS is hanging right around .50 just like in 1999. The stock promoters are pumping the meth crisis just like they pumped the landmine crisis. The Myth Gun is scheduled for availability in Feb. '08 just like ELF was scheduled for the big test in Croatia in Feb. 2000.
Yep, I definately (TM- Closer)* see a pattern developing.

This crisis is still the number one penny stock seller:

Nothing new, all your posts have been archives.
Sassy's birthday is in two days... which means today must be Pearl Harbor Day!
Happy Birthday in advance(0HBIA)Sassy.
No Paige, that is not correct. While there are fundamental spectral parameters available, the information is far from sufficient and manufacturers of analytical spectrometers use their own proprietary software to capture the signature data. Only the simplest applications can use theoretical data and it has limited accuracy.
Browse some spectrometer websites and you will see that each manufacturer boasts their own unique spectral analysis software.
Also, an analytical spectrometer requires calibration using standard samples of known concentration in order to determine concentration.
In the case of Valimed, the signature library (including calibration for different concentrations) are provided with the unit. I don't believe that the user has the capability to program and calibrate applications like your typical research or industrial instruments. And that's a good thing for Valimed's intended use- KISS (keep it simple stupid).
And I believe Crow is correct, the user must select the signature being tested from the library. Valimed does not scan the database for a match IMO.
One more comment, Valimed is not really being used as an analytical fluorimeter- Read the Mi test report and you'll see it has been programed to only catch GROSS concentration errors. I don't know if it's even considered an analytical instrument.
The meth gun most certainly isn't.
"We are currently working with Valimed to identify how the product could be improved to help us enhance our current safety measures."
What that statement says is that Valimed did NOT improve their current safety maesures so they returned them.
"Sounds like they are tweaking it to me."
That correspondence is over six months old. I still don't see the hospital on CDEx's customer list.
A free VIP pass to the show? I'd be happy to accept your offer Paige. I won't show up just to rattle Moonie's cage again! LOL
It'll give him something new to whine about for the next five years.
Paige, I recognize that face, even with the Elf's hat covering your spiked blonde hair!
Paige, I recognize that face, even with the Elf's hat covering your spiked blonde hair!
“Because the chemicals used in making methamphetamine are so volatile, the toxic residue left behind can threaten the health of whoever occupies that space next.”
Irrelevant.
The Myth Gun (TM- Crow) only detects meth.
When Jim griffin claimed in a webcast that Valimed had a "hero moment" wasn't that based on preventing an overdose of Heparin?
Why doesn't CDEx have it listed?
RA, i would dig up the Kinsmen Island "wow" post, but I'm runnin' late.
Tomorrow.
~ Li'l diddy
This is a pay to play penny stock.
"Question? How many people are still left at CDEX that capnmike gave the superlative "WOW" to?"
Not including all the paid professional consultants (such as the pharmacists that configured Valimed) I would say ZERO.
RA, I know you're not the "get excited" type. I used the wrong word. We'll reserve that word for use when describing Capnmike's CDEX stock promotion posts (Although I believe "drama queen" is more accurate- gender be damned).
The fires didn't get too close to me, but I have a couple friends that weren't so lucky.
Take it easy RA.
Li'l didster (TM- Li'l Eddie)
RA, whata you getting excited about? LOL Capnmike is what he is, a Loch/CDEx stock promoter and alleged insider.
Remember the origin of his capnwow nickname? Quite an easily excited fellow (and a definite drama queen):
