Very nice ... but after reading the article, the fears I relayed in my previous post about big pharma and a corrupt government siphoning off all the profits from the cannabis production, evaluation, regulation, and sales!!!!
Sure, they are fine with us selling pot leaf t-shirts, but the big fight (AND CERTAINLY WORTH FIGHTING FOR) will be fair and open access to a free market in marijuana. It's kind of ironic that the only people preventing that free market are our elected officials in government and the sleazeballs who pay off the lobbyists who pay off our elected officials.
Washington and Colorado are actually going to be very important because they will set a benchmark for how the pie is to be sliced ... I just hope big pharmas' lobbyists haven't already got to the new "Cannabis Evaluators" in WA, whoever they may be.
Kentucky or whichever states allow production of hemp will also set the benchmark, but for hemp cultivation, production, sales, etc. I know that big tobacco have plenty of land all throughout the United States with a crop that seems to be on its way out. Hemp, with its multitude of uses, would be an amazing upgrade and eventually replacement. Who knows, I guess. I just have a hard time believing that the people who got filthy rich off cigarettes and pills are just going to sit back and watch the money flow into other hands. But that's entirely a long-term concern, in the short-term, I'm sticking to the charts, boards and Level II
