Indeed, but you said it was being passed to a "beware fraud site". So, you are expecting us to believe that this redirection has stopped; it might happen but it makes the other claims you make less credible.
Perhaps other may be able to shed light on the remaining claims.

It's good to see the company make the distinction, but, I find, people who aren't being entirely honest - aren't likely to "fess" up.
Good to see, but doesn't put the issue to bed, for me at least. Others may think differently.

NEP, researcher59 I appreciate your help to an options novice.
And yes, I've just looked through my portfolio and nothing has been there for a year, for shame. The British equivalent of the IRS will be rubbing hands with glee.

Until we get a mine, as other posters have pointed out, it's the gross margins and volumes that matter to PUDA.
For 2008 the gross margin was 13%
2009 Q1 & Q2 the 2009 the gross margins was 8%
2009 Q3 the gross margin was 10% and there was bullish talk on volumes increasing.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did another 19 / 20 cent quarter (ignoring any warrant madness)
So were talking 80 cents a year at this run rate... pretty good. Anyway enough logic... it wants to go down...

I don't believe we will send out a PR for this. I am happy to explain this for you and I am sure you will pass it along to other investors. I am still traveling to meet with specific institutions next week but in order to fit in the key meetings I am going to we could not also do the formal roadshows at the times and locations we planned. The short story is I need to be in New York for most of the week.
There will definitely be shareholder events in the near future and possibly more than one in January but we are focused on the NASDAQ listing and building both the individual and institutional shareholder base so we arrive on the NASDAQ in a strong position. We, like most of our investors I presume, are not happy with the volume our stock is generating right now. So, the goal is to have a strong mix of individual and institutional investors as soon as possible and the best ways to do that (that we control) is to have shareholder events and one on one meetings with institutions. We can of course also issue strong news releases such as the approval (potential) of the NASDAQ listing or release of Dayoucun for example but we don't fully control the timing of those events.
If anyone is very interested in a quick meeting then I would be happy to share a coffee with them if there is a way to work out the timing in Boston, NY, SF and LA. I don't think I will make it to Chicago. Just call my cell next week at 6176996325.

Dear Mr. Crane,
I was disappointed to learn that you have postponed the scheduled roadshow till January. I am sure you have legitimate and good reasons for doing so.
Could you perhaps put out a PR explaining this decision? That would be a great comfort to us long term shareholders of SBAY.
Like you I continue to remain very bullish about the future prospects for Sbay.

Indeed... but that's what they say in the presentation... Interestingly, for their other sites they say revenue is coming from other a number of sources - they go out the way to say it's from restaurants and the like..
Perhaps they have all you can eat restaurants when your in?
Goldern lakes
. Revenue generated from entrance fee
Hua’an Tulou Cluster
. Revenue generated from entrance fee, restaurant and other services
Yunding
• Revenue to be generated from entrance fee, hotel, cable car and other recreational projects

hmm... wonder if anyone is in from IR on Friday? Perhaps they were out of date with the PR on Goldern lakes?

DUBAI - intersting...according BBC the company that went into liquidation was NOT a soverign fund - highly leveraged company.
The government wanted to prop themselves up and bonds were bought by UAE and Abu Dhabi. Not sure why the government wanted to pay for it? Perhaps bailing banks out.
Obviously UAE could have bailed them out but didn't see why they should.
rich
DUBAI - one of the nightmares in the markets is that sorverign nations will start defaulting.
The question people want to know is that is this the first of many or a one off?
Duabi seems to be poor in natural resources, relative to it's other UAE friends - and my guess is that they were allowed to run up debts with the expectation that it would get help - well it didn't get it.
To be honest it looks like a white elephant - they have been building so much in Dubai in the hope that "they will come". It looks like an economy built on sand. All construction and no business.
I think the market, when settled, will take this to be a risk for the lending banks alone. Anyway what's 60 Billion these days?
rich
In the PR they had 161,000 vistors generating $4.9 Million in revenue. Seriously? $30 each. In the presentation they said only from entrance fee. If it was from other things as well, fair enough. But $30 seem high? Did they mug them? If I was a Chinse person and paid $30 I wouldn't leave until I been there, like, a fortnight.

Forzagrio, that is interesting would you say the default was western script and the Chinese script was secondary?
There's a guy here who makes the claim [1] that the CKGT site was blocked. I would guess the mood of the board is sceptical but listening to the arguments.
There has been another cactus company involved with fraud but CKGT has, on their website, denied any connection. So, I guess the question is does the daliandaily article [2] refers to them, [3] or another cactus company?
If you can make any comment at all it's much appreciated. However, you've already helped already so I'm already in your debt.
cheers and thanks again

Carbon emissions - The politics amused me, using a premptive strike is a great way of doing what you want and closing further discussions.
I don't think either side of the global warming debate has got conclusive evidence.
Personally, I think the Chinese are doing the right thing - since no one actually knows what's going on. The best thing to do is to develop industries that might help. *IF* there is man made global warming it would be prohibitively expensive to adapt to it overnight. The best thing to do is develop expertise that can be scaled up quickly.
I realise that this can easily become a political discussion so we should leave that for other boards. To me this is China being pragmatic and covering their options.

forzagrifo,
Thank you for testing that out. Is that unusual having to set the characters?

In October 2007, CME entered into a five-year cooperation agreement with TTAVC, an entity affiliated with the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, to be the sole strategic alliance partner in the establishment of a nationwide in-vehicle television system that displays copyrighted programs on buses traveling on highways in China. The cooperation agreement also gave CME exclusive rights to display advertisements on the system. In November 2007, TTAVC issued a notice regarding the facilitation of implementation of the system contemplated under the cooperation agreement to municipalities, provinces and transportation enterprises in China. CME believes its status as the sole strategic alliance partner designated by TTAVC and the exclusive rights to display advertisements on the system has facilitated its historical expansion and is expected to continue to provide them with a competitive advantage in the future.

Very interesting read.
If the blades cost so much then it looks like it's good for GCHT to have 2 rather than 3. I think this extends into the energy conversion and the simplification may also mean more reliable - now this is all from management figures!
Also the contstruction is simpler since you can attach the blade before putting it up. So less mucking around with cranes and the like.
The way I'm thinking is that the 3 blade people set the rock bottom price. Then the amount GCHT can make it cheaper is the margin.
rich
Long on the very speculative pumped pick GCHT.
While we await the restatements...
They were saying that they were going to release restatements for each quarter but in the meantime they were using restated accounts in last quarter - and this included table with 9 months restated.
They have 9 months restated for 2008 in the tables - and this took EPS from 1.56 to 1.29 or 83% of the original. Assuming it stays with same drop in Q4 I have $1.44 for FY 2008.
In 2009 I had 1.71 for first 9 months and this has been revised down to 1.57. So I'm figuring adjusting Q3 up $0.04, thanks to the boiler and then at least doing 2008's Q4 * 83%, $0.32 they should do, bad case, around $1.93 for the year - If that's the case we have P/E of 4 and around 34% growth Y/Y.
Coal prices are looking good at the moment so that should support the Earnings - I don't know if they are going to dig more coal out next year?
comments?

GCHT - 51! pah, better if 100X current level. Clearly if you need to be told to buy a stock - they should also make the maths easy for you as well
GCHT is, unquestionably, my most speculative stock.
