Agreed. I wish I did as well. If there was any real offer on the table, why on earth would they be worried about mailing stock certificates? Is this turning into a scam. I certainly hope not.
They're going to mail the dividend certificates to everyone's home?? Oh man, this is getting very funny. Do they actually even understand how the market works?
Are they going to sit in an office all day filling out envelopes?
Get ready for the big rejection later this week and a .05 or lower price. OK, now I feel I made a mistake investing in this company.
No, I'm not bashing, I'm stating an opinion. No blindless cheerleading here.
check yahoo quotes, nasdaq, marketwatch and all other quote sites, volume is just over 1 million today. There's nothing wrong with your quote system. GLTA.
Whining because I'm asking questions? I actually take advantage of our beautiful days and only come home to find you've been posting all day. Maybe you should take a bit of your own advice. Funny that you personally attacked me but your post didn't get deleted.
On point question. has this occured yet?
NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 25, 2006 -- Aurus Corporation (Other OTC:AURC.PK - News) announced today that it has concluded a $10,000,000 US offering to NewConsult Ltd., a Swiss private equity fund.
According to the offering, NewConsult Ltd. will proceed to fund an initial US$2 million upon the company's listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which is expected by the middle of October and will continue to fund the company's operation for a period of 48 months. NewConsult Ltd. has also received a right of first refusal for any subsequent funding of up to US$50,000,000.
"The funding by NewConsult Ltd. will enable us to immediately increase production and purchase all the equipment needed to mine our reserves," said Gerald Parkin, President of Aurus Corporation. "The $10,000,000 funding can easily turn into a $50,000,000 financing based on our performance and the price of gold and in return create substantial value for our shareholders,' further added Mr. Parkin.
Could you please explain exactly what qualifies then. I'd like to be able to post without getting censored. Thanks very much.
Or if its about AURC and asking on point questions or relaying concerns, it looks like those posts will be deleted as well. What are you afraid of? Not everyone should be blindly cheerleading.
I was merely asking questions and relayed some concerns. They all got deleted.
I'm not sure if it's underhanded at all, but I wish they'd be more clear and communicative in their PRs. Obviously, their goal is to raise the shareprice, but they seem to go at in a very odd way which raises suspicion and ends up having a counterintuitive effect on the stock price.
I wish they would clarify situations and nail down deals before they announce them, then reannounce them. Nothing is clear and nothing seems to be finalized. Also, blaming russian holidays for a 2 week break from making decisions is very odd in my opinion and raises even more suspicion.
It also doesn't help that 2Cs posts get more and more cryptic and less championing of the company. His posts seem to have gone from all cash buyout to stock to whatever it is now.
All just my humble opinion. GLTA!
2C you seem pretty sure about the outcome this week. I hope you are right. GLTA!
What fireworks? I'm hoping they'll accept the offer or have a better one for an ALL CASH consideration. Anything short of that may hurt the stock price even more. Especially, if its a merger of some sort for stock.
From where we are today.
Also, question, does aurc have a new TA? If so, how will that affect the naked short position, if any affect at all?
Agreed. A 5 bagger would be awesome. Just accept and let's make some money!
I hope aurc management is thinking the same way. We shall see.
GLTA!
Is this a stalemate or what?? It looks like there is quite a bit of accumulation going on with over 2 million shares traded today but the price range is very narrow. I guess everyone, including the shorts, have no idea of what the next PR will say.
My concern is, if they were going to accept the offer, they would have done so already. I have a feeling we'll have another round of offer/counteroffer. Also, if they were in such close communication with the offeror why didn't they just negotiate a deal before issuing PRs? Why did they issue a Pr, then another, then another. They could have done all this behind closed doors and then issued just one PR stating the agreed upon price. Anyone else share that concern?
Hope we see higher prices this week!! GLTA.
This may have already been discussed and I missed it, but does anyone have any thoughts as to why AURC would jump the gun a bit and issue the PR yesterday regarding the $10 million financing. It sounds like its still a bit down the road and not all the t's have been crossed yet.
Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.
Also, it doesn't look like we'll get our decision this week. If they were planning on rejecting the offer, wouldn't they have done so already? Thanks.
It's kinda sad that you would mention your grandkids online and have them read these boards and promote your negativity as you stated in your post. Why are you so angry?
If you think this will tank for us, why do care that much? Like I said, investing in the market is always a gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. That's how it works, that's the gamble for any stock. It's an investor's responsibility to pick and choose stocks and accept whatever outcome that may arise.
Why do you get so much pleasure out of people losing money? You seem to hope for it. And why on earth would you get your grandkids involved?? I'm very pleased to say I don't have a grandfather like you.
All just my humble opinion. GLTA!
Equipment delivered 2 weeks ago? I did not see that post. Could you elaborate please. If that's the case, that's great news. Have they put the equipment to use yet? Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated 2C. Thanks.
othmane, just because we're taking a chance on a stock doesn't mean we're stupid. If we win, we win, if we lose, we lose. It just means we took a chance. That's what you do in the market. It doesn't mean anybody is stupid. It's funny that if you made so much money flipping this stock and we're so stupid, why do you bother posting here. Shouldn't you be off making tons of money elsewhere? You sound like a pleasant guy to hang around with and have tons of friends who are not stupid I'm sure. Just a thought.
D. Indian, if you have legitimate questions you should definitely ask them, but what is the point to keep bashing non stop.
Yes, there are unanswered questions and hopefully we will get them soon. If you think its a scam, why don't you move on and invest your time more wisely by posting on boards of stocks that you like and are investing in. What is the point of hanging and bashing all day and night? It can conjure up lots of negativity in your life. I could be wrong, but you seem like a pretty unhappy person.
The stock market is ALWAYS a gamble. That's the whole point. You win and you lose, that's the risk involved. We're all just trying to make a bit of money here.
If you have a lot of time on your hands, maybe you should consider doing some volunteer work and help others. Or go outside and smile and try to make life a little bit better for others. But non stop bashing day and night on a message board is never wise for happiness.
Just my humble opinion. GLTA
Did he seem upset that they already moved forward with a PR about this? Or did he have any thoughts on it?
I guess we could all speculate one way or the other until the cows come home, but I'd like to see a detailed PR of what the company's plans are. It's a little frustrating when they release these short 2-3 sentence PRs which don't really explain much.
If they accept/reject buyout, I'd like a bit more info. Not just "we've chose to accept/reject buyout".
2C can you ask them to at least provide a bit more info when releasing PRs as it would give shareholders more informed decision making power. THanks.
Are you saying they've done all this before. I'm pretty new to this stock and have done quite a bit of DD, but I certainly don't know everything about it. Where did you hear everything is on hold til Aug/Sept? I didn't see that in the PR. Can you explain your comments?
Are you basing this on fact, or just ranting? If you're just ranting that's fine, but please don't state it like its fact. Just say its your opinion. Thanks.
I agree, this is very encouraging that they are continuing with the business and were able to secure non-dilutive financing, on top of the $50 million they received a while back. In terms of the buyout price, I'm not sure how $10 million more in a loan will boost the buyout price that much. Can someone explain? The $10 million is not theirs. It's a loan, so not sure how that would factor in in terms of assets for purchase.
However, I do like the fact that a firm is willing to lend them $10 million. Adds a lot more credibility to the company in my opinion. Still holding and hoping. GLTA.
Don't understand. So, they've cancelled the buyout? Who did they inform. Will they be releasing a PR about it? Did you get this info from 2C?
Since they have been audited, why don't they file their audited financials with the sec so they can move to the bulletin board? Is this planned for the immediate future?
Does this financing mean there's no more buyout? I can't imagine they would go through the effort of getting more financing if they were going to accept the buyout. I'm not sure how people view this as good news. Can someone explain please?
Has anyone tried to contact their PR person that is listed on their public PRs, Jeremy Krause? I've tried that number a few times but there was no answer.
Are you saying the aurc has the same management as nwog? Are they sister companies? This point has confused me as there are opposing thoughts on this issue. Any info anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Well I certainly hope you are correct.
My only concern is that if they were planning on accepting the offer, wouldn't they have already done so?
Hey koda, its unfortunate that you made a loss, but with the stock market, that's the risk that's involved, especially with pink sheet stocks. Incredibly high risk/high reward. That's why people play them on the chance that they'll win big.
I'm going to hold for the moment and see how this all plays out. The whole ndol thing is pretty scary, and hope this stock doesn't do the same thing.
I am concerned that they will reject the offer and say they will try to find a new suitor. I think that would sink this stock. Hopefully, they will accept the offer and we can all make a profit. Time will tell.
2Create seems to have the finger on the pulse of what's going on and he seems to be very bullish. So, hopefully, it'll all work out postiively. However, I don't know if he was also bullish on Ndol when all that was going down as well.
GLTA.
Am I the only one seeing triplicate trades going through all at the same time and same amont of shares?
Odd trading. Many sets of triplicate trades. Any thoughts?
I guess my point is that if 2Create's other 'star' russian company is NNRF and they seemed to have managed to make it to work today and even release a PR, then why does the AURC management have to disappear for 2 weeks? It looks like other russian companies have their doors still open for business. Just makes this company look very rinky dink and poorly managed. I just don't think its professional to put in a public PR that no decisions can be made for two weeks because its May. Looks pretty ridiculous. Not just for our American eyes, but for every business person worldwide.
If they actually released a well worded PR focusing on the buyout and the status of sales, etc., that would have looked much more professional. But if a company says, hey, we got a counteroffer, but we don't care that much about it cause its party time for two weeks, looks kinda silly, don't you think? Also, its not even a national holiday! Other russian companies seem to be working in earnest. So why on earth would a company blame a supposed national two weeks closing down the country, brainwaves, air, water, rivers, seas, etc for their lack of response. If they are considering another offer or white knight, etc then why don't they just say so.
Just my humble opinion. GLTA!
You should actually read all my posts. I have not bashed this stock at all. It's no secret I recently joined. I have been a decent contributor and have generally been positive about the stock (review all my posts). I just have questions and comments and I shouldn't feel afraid or intimidated to ask them on this board, whether I joined yesterday or a year ago.
Well, I certainly hope you guys are right. I'm not trying to bash at all, but I'm just asking questions that are raised in my mind (and others) about how they are handling this and why they are handling this in such a manner. More and clearer communication from them would be greatly appreciated.
Fair enough. But if they could make a decision regarding the buyout within 2 days, like they did last week, then why all of a sudden do they need 2 weeks because of the 'may holidays'? Like I said, it doesn't inspire confidence. If it did, the price would be higher in my opinion.
If that's the case, then AURC shouldn't make ridiculous excuses that they cannot do any work because its a 2 week national holiday. If your other company nnrf is working today and releasing PRs, then aurc management looks even sillier saying no work can get done for 2 weeks. Certainly does not inspire confidence in management.
Let's face it, if management handled the situation more professinally, we would not be at .11 at the moment. We would be at much higher prices. What kind of management puts in their official PR that they are going on vacation for 2 weeks and cannot make any decisions? The entire office has to take a vacation at the SAME TIME??? Seriously, this is an absolutely ridiculous thing to state to the investment community. I believe it makes management look incredibly incompetent. I'm afraid to see what their next PR will say. Perhaps they should hire a professional to write the PRs.
All just my humble opinion.
I'm not sure if everyone is selling. MMs can exchange shares back and forth to keep the price down or give the effect of selling going on when they are merely just moving shares back and forth to each other at the bid. This can easily happen with pink sheets where there isn't much regulation going on and there are huge short/naked short positions. Unfortunately, its part of the game. That's the reason this stock is at .11, because there's a huge risk/reward ratio. So, if we win, we win big, if we lose, we lose big.
Just my humble opinion. GLTA.
If that's the case, are you saying they've gone off on vacation for two weeks and left the miners to dig with no-one managing the operations??? Isn't this company and deal important to them? Like I said before, if there was really a bonafide deal on the table to buyout the company, I wouldn't just say: "Oh well, time for my 2 week vacation. I'll deal with it when I get back." Who would do that except a management that was irresponsible.
Also, if this was a real deal, wouldn't people in the know be gobbling up shares, especially people in Russia who are closer to the situation?
Like I said, I don't know what to believe, I just want to make some money like everyone else. GLTA!
If they do, I believe this will be another stall tactic. I will start thinking this is all a scam if they do another round of offer/counteroffer and more holidays and more delays. How do these people actually even run a business?? If they are on holiday all the time, how on earth do they get these supposed metals out of the ground?
How did Mrs. 2Create get this video? Did they take a break from their vacation to actually come into the office for a day? I noticed a lot of it was filmed at dinner. Maybe that's when they get their work done, one hour a day.
Please no more delays. Just do the deal and be done with it.
<<<Do most here think that another round of negotiations will take place or not? I.e. - 55 c is offered and aurc comes back with a final price set between 55 and 68?>>>
