did the career thing long enough.

today's volume is probably the ATM...
dona...in your dreams.
10 years and 35k down the drain...so far...
will we have a bidding war????
DO I HEAR $.97???? WHO WILL GIVE ME $.99?????????
who, exactly, do they think wants to give them many millions, and for what?
and why does Avid have to gear up for commercial cotara production when they won't be starting a 2 years trial till who knows when, if ever? what BS.
1000 shares at 16:00:00
cheynew...they even fooled the people with inside info!
i wonder how the meetings are going in tustin this afternoon.
oh..to be a fly on the wall...
does this push back the $40/share timeline at all, do ya think?
was a game-changer all right....
i have to say that i'm pretty surprised this was such a bust. i've said before that i didn't think it was the holy grail, but a flop like this is still a surprise. i suspect that they'll be trying a little harder to dress it up and get something for it while they can now.
why isn't Dew being trashed this morning?
so what good did it do the board to load up on options?
i feel stupid
please let this awful news cause more folks to look at anti-PS with more urgency!
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2012/03/07/health/AP-US-MED-Cancer-Genes.html?hp
we have no more right to talk about the probablility/liklehood of a billion market cap any more than the rest of the biotechs under a buck. we've had safety success with pre-clinical, p1 and p2, with some degree of efficacy on several targets. so far...THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some people here are drunk. $40/share? in what decade????
with fantastic, statistically significant news, we will still have trouble sustaining a few dollars per share in the near term imo.
we cured prostate cancer in mice. nobody seems to be paying pphm for that. whatever else we're doing is only incremental...on hideous afflictions. i do not believe bavi is a holy grail...i think it's a leading edge of an IP platform that somebody may eventually want to own...but i fear it's many drug trials pphm has no money for in the future.
a few folks think there are deals in place with BP...i highly doubt it.
nobody can explain who bought all those shares last month, but i haven't seen any major 5% filings. did i just miss them?
i'm praying that i'm wrong.
if anything shockingly good comes out of friday's call, none of us will live to benefit from an upward move. we'll be dead of heart attacks.
all i did was factor another 50% dilution with the current shelf shares at about the current pps. would love to see results boost the price, even in the absence of a deal...but does it appear to you that such boosts have ever been sustained? if so, explain why we're at .94 tonite while the IP supposedly grows dramatically.
selling the authorized shelf shares = $.47 share price without a deal.
is today action buys or sells?
i've been googling all over trying to get more info on the 4-decimal bid/ask. nothin' there
doesn't matter that it's a friday after the close. whenever they report, it never, ever moves the price up, because there's never a deal that would cause it to.
so it just went up to .96. immediately thereafter, the ask went to .9599. WHY???????????????
Dog..yeah, I'm griping. darn right.
we've got roth et al telling us we'll be at 5-8-10 in 18 months for the last 5 years, we've had hq telling us we're in talks, we cure, we image, we hit viruses, we turn on immune systems, we attack all cancers, and management hasn't convinced anybody we're worth a crap yet.
i am still holding my sizeable position, but it's a fraction of what i've paid for it even though i've been in and out in varying degrees many times. fortunately, it can't crash very far from here....but i am frustrated, and justifiably so.
will they ever produce shareholder value?
Dog..."let them take their time"?????
what's another 10 years...
something else to consider is that most biotechs don't make it...
10-15 years is an awfully long time to go without monetizing any of the research....to be 'in talks'...
it appears that potential investors think it's safe to wait to buy this until big news happens...and the price spikes....(if it ever does)
do you know the story of the boy who cried wolf?
i suspect there's no price action because, despite wonderful and continuing (if not accelerating) early stage results for 10 years or more, pphm simply has not ever shown the ability to monetize the science. why on earth would anybody assume they can now just because there are 7 posters? the IP portfolio grows and grows and grows, and the market cap shrinks and shrinks and shrinks.
posters. whoop-dee-do.
man, is this making me old ahead of my time... minutes seem like weeks around here, don't they?
or bought a chunk...who can see which way it went?
somebody apparently came in late today...and promptly knocked it down when everybody was lulled to sleep...
anybody like to venture an explanation about the month-long big volume being followed by almost no volume?
when i say 'manipulation', i mean that, imo, the price is being controlled. anybody who denies that strong hands with an agenda affect the range it's essentially 'allowed' to be in is in a fantasy world. those strong hands are also known as 'market forces', and they are decidedly not random in PPHM's case.
as i've said before....i don't really care about it being controlled as long as whoever is working it makes it move up pretty soon. it just amazes me that, apparently, it's so easy to do when you have inside information..or you caught somebody's wink... it's not a level playing field, and it never will be able to be...i just want to be on board when the train pulls out of the station
manipulated at the the close on a volume spike every single day
i can't keep my eyes open
i couldn't care less how many shares the managers can get dirt cheap if they get this thing to $10 in less than a year. or, frankly, $7.
the 'cheap options' argument has no merit since most of their options have expired, worthless.
whoever has been running the manipulation must have left early on a President's Day ski weekend
if the MM kept a lid on the ask to keep it from moving up during the volume buying, why are they letting it sink now?
who says they sold at a loss? we ran a little bit a few times...they may have done fine...
