We can also see that they are working on #3 ( "-- Building Second Life Islands") Anyone can see that by visiting SL. #2 is yet to be revealed...("-- Finalize judges for the contest")
And this is why.....
From April 29th PR
"Please keep in mind that due to non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality agreements, names of the parties involved must be omitted until final agreements are reached."
#1 on the list reads what?
the following are some of the more major initiatives we have begun:
-- Interactive Website operational and able to accept auditions and fees
-- Finalize judges for the contest
-- Building Second Life Islands
-- Discussions with Television Network to air the show outside of Second
Life
-- Securing spokesperson for Television show. Letter of Intent signed
-- Discussions ongoing to secure major sponsorships of the Television
show
-- Discussions ongoing with Asian contacts to secure a Memorandum of
Understanding for marketing to Singapore, China and Japan. The Plans are to
build a portfolio of entertainment properties for ADCS.
"These initiatives are just a small list of the things that are on our plate. As you can see there are many things going on behind the scenes. This is a major undertaking and I trust shareholders will understand all that is going into this project," stated Spahr
So as we can see, from what the company has said on multiple occasions, their primary objective was to get the site up and running and then clean it and dress it up all perdy like afterwards.
This SHOULD have been expected.
From April 28th PR...
" The first goal is the functionality of the site. Once the site is fully operational, the company will work on the glitz."
From last PR...
"Now that the site is operational, the company will work on the glitz"
"I want to invite all participants, shareholders and other interested parties to email in your suggestions to improve the website's look and usability. We want this to be as user friendly as possible so our technicians will take all suggestions and give them the proper consideration."
Well, it's a start. Get all of the little crap out of the way as quickly as possible?? I don't know..
Yes. Just look at the rules, terms of service, and privacy policy sections. As far as how far they will go with re-doing it... I would have no way of knowing that. I am sure they will take everyones suggestions into account while making corrections though.
Should be interesting to see how much they get done over the weekend with the site. Can't wait to see how this whole story plays out, could be a real life changer for many of us.
Dang. I'll take some of that! Glad I bought some more tickets today!
Any indications as to when VStarr.com 2.0 will be up? Early next week? By next Friday?
That would be good too. I personally like to go into the weekend with something to get all worked up about. LOL!
Pretty please with sugar on top. : )
Gonna feel like a long weekend me thinks. Would be really cool to get an after the bell PR.
Sounds good to me. : )
Just hope that "Billy Bob's Pizza Emporium" (Off Route 1) isn't a part of the sponsors. LOL!! Wal-mart, Pepsi, or other big names will make me smile.
Oh ok, I saw that. Thanks. I tried to use Second Life regardless of the "incompatable" issue and I had quite a bit of trouble. You could hear my computer running from across the street and it started to smoke. : )
Wish I could get on to see all that but my computer is too old (4 years) and Second Life, when I tried to download it, said that my junk is incompatible. Any chance of seeing a screen shot?
Hey Bud,
have they mentioned a time frame for advertising or mentioning sponsors... ?
Oh, I'm just teasing. Trying to bring a little humor to the masses.
"Would have hurt us more if it was delayed." Yes! I agree 100% They made a commitment and stuck to it. No BS excuses. I REALLY like the way these guys are running things. They are on top of things.
I look at it this way. It's kind of like showing up to an amusment park right when they open in the morning. Trash cans are full, half the rides are still closed, no food ready, cigarette butts all over the sidewalks, throw up still in the bushes next to the tilt-a-whirl.....
Takes a few hours to get things lookin' pretty.
Oh thank GOD! LOL! I got worried there for a minute. I'm going to church Sunday thats for damn sure!
Pretty quiet around here. Did I miss the rapture?
Just posting what is on the vstarr site forum.
"Junior VStarr Details coming soon! Stay Tuned." Cool!
you believe? Do you mean, "I am faithful"? Or, "I believe that I am 100% positive"? : )
Dang. Don't sound so positive.
ditto. eom
A post worth remembering today.

"I'll make them money, even if I drag them kicking and screaming all the way along,
but they have to trust me for a little longer."
I give them alot of credit. They have followed through with everything so far.
Or they are using old Atari componants to run their machines like me and cant get schit to work right. LOL!
Time to start dropping some bombs.
"As a reminder, the first goal was the functionality of the site. Now that the site is operational, the company will work on the glitz and quickly react to any operational bugs that become identified. The decision was made to get revenues started first. I want to invite all participants, shareholders and other interested parties to email in your suggestions to improve the website's look and usability."
Spahr went on, "As we have mentioned in previous releases getting the website up and operational is key before anything further is considered. 'No website-No contest.'
We now have the website people! It's go time.
Beautiful! Thank you. eom

Depends. : )
I dont see what is so hard to understand here. Just the fact that they are able to accept fees on their site speaks volumes. This is REAL!
I hope we get a PR about their plans to advertise soon. The website being up and running is key to this whole success story but if people dont know about it.....
I think once they start some major advertising and this thing becomes known world wide, the sales of Depends will skyrocket! I've got mine on. : )
