RA, I don't know what he said. I didn't read his post. My guess it was just more of the same CDEX promotional advertising under the guise of a honest reply.
Am I close! LOL
Capnmike, do have a problem with the word scam? If you believe all the PR's released by Loch/CDEX were 100% truthful then there was no scam.
Do you believe all PR's were 100% truthful?
"d4diddy, you claim to have had information regarding ASD interests."
You are wrong. Please read and understand the referenced post.
Does CDEX still have a link on their website providing news about landmine victims?
How many times did stock promoters post links to news about landmine victims on public message boards?
How many times did capnmike alone post such hype?
"CDEX marks another step in developing a global coalition of world class hospitals working together to address major medication delivery issues."
Considering all categories of medical errors, what percentage of such errors posted by CDEX stock promoters have any relevance to Valimed?
QED
Yawn....
Is CDEX in the process of building 200 meth guns?
"I asked Phillips where he got the guts to order 200 ID 2s as an initial production run . I asked in light of the financial situation, where the finances were coming from, and did he have orders pending.
His answer was money came in from ValiMed sales and some share sales. when I asked again about orders,he stated it was "covered and let's let it go at that". He stated delivery would be in the 2nd quarter of "08."
The amended distributor agreement between CDEX and Baxa states that all future Valimed sales will come from Baxa's inventory until exhausted. If this is still in effect, CDEX cannot realize revenues from Valimed sales until the Baxa boneyard has been cleared. How many units is that? How many units have been reported as cash sales since the amendment?
It's reasonable to conclude that PP investors have been the only available source of money to finance production of the meth gun.
The apologist strikes again and let's leave it at that.
"Wash, rinse, repeat."
(TM- Stock)
Bottom line RA... it's about what many truthful posters have been pointing out about Valimed:
"CONCLUSION: A tabletop EPS device demonstrated acceptable sensitivity and specificity for validating the identity and concentrations of selected high-risk i.v. medications compounded for pediatric patients. The device may help prevent clinically important medication errors caused by inaccurate compounding."
"Acceptable"- NOT REVOLUTIONARY.
"selected high-risk i.v. medications compounded for pediatric patients"- HIGHLY NICHE MARKET.
"may help"- STILL INCONCLUSIVE UTILITY.
The majority of all MEDICAL ERROR links posted by CDEx stock promoters DO NOT fall under the highly specific, niche application targeted by Valimed. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAPABILITY OF VALIMED TO PREVENT MEDICAL ERRORS.
End of story.
Or getting down to brass tacks like Crow posted- the demand will justify the need. Let's watch.
"Where's the beff"

RA, Capnmike is a CDEx stock promoter. What else would you expect?
Why would CDEx want a full time CFO? It gives them a great excuse and doesn't cut into their salaries.
Isn't that what its all about?
So what does the 10Q show for the "backlog" of Valimed sales and upgrades?
Record revenues?
"One of the Drugs that we will be signaturing starts out as a powder..I'm going to think we will start to signature solids or powders on record over there..."
Paige, just because one of the drugs starts out as a powder doesn't mean that they're going to start testing powders. I think your jumping to the wrong conclusion.
Currently, Valimed validates high-risk, compounded IV solutions. Liquids. There are no signatures for powders or API concentrates listed on the website.
Valimed does not test the pure API from the bottle to authenticate the drug and concentration. The utility of Valimed is to validate the compounded IV solution after the possibility of human error has been introduced. If the wrong drug, concentration, diluent or proportions are used, Valimed is designed to catch the mistake after the final IV solution has been prepared.
I don't think Valimed will ever be used to test either pills or powders without preparing a liquid suspension or solution.
"With the Meth Gun we can signature liquid residue and also powder right?"
Yep, as long as the meth is present in detectable quantities and there are no interferences. However, the meth gun cannot detect concentration, only the presence of meth above the sensitivity limit.
Geez, I'm away from the boards for a while and WMFT decides to try some new spin. First, STOP WHINING WMFT! I presented evidence showing the same tech touted by Loch/CDEx was developed years prior to the Loch Harris scam. In fact, the description of the two technologies and list of potential applications were almost identical.
I further posted an article which reported that Poteet, Blair and Cauthen worked closely with Sandia at the very same time (ca. 1995) the Remote UVF sensing tech was under development at Sandia.
Others posted the links to the Sandia patent which Loch Harris called VAMMP. When that tech was patented, licensed and commercialized by Sandia we never heard the VAMMP name mentioned again by CDEx.
Did I say that someone stole the tech from Sandia? No. I posted the DD for all to read and reach their own conclusion. The same tech, the same buzz words the same time, what a cowinky-dink eh? LOL
And stop grasping at straws and calling people liars. VIKING, isn't that a TOU violation?
200 Myth Guns funded through Valimed sales?
How can that be when all Valimed sales will come from the Baxa inventory until exhausted?
MP did state in the CC that they're starting a new Valimed "production cycle" so if that cycle is completed and all Baxa units have been sold, then CDEX can realize revenue from Valimed sales.
Now how bloody likely is that?
That is as likely as was MP's revenue forecast of a quarter billion dollar by 2005!
Maybe he was using Mooniemath when he crunched the forecast numbers!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Yet some still do.
Demmo, the final report from the MSHP has never been published to my knowledge, but MP published another report with the help from the local sheriffs department. What was that town? Mayberry.
MP hasn't disclosed the final outcome of the Missouri testing, but quotes the local sheriff as saying every squad car in America should have one.
Kinda sounds like Raiderman and the corner drug store.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! A projected quarter BILLION dollars revenue and 88 million in earnings by 2005?
BWHAAAAhahahahahahahahahah!!!!!
Understood Crow. Now a question for the board concrening the the last CC.
Did MP state that CDEX had record sales in the 4Q, or did he say that they realized (or recorded) record sales?
Maybe someone should publish MP's propsectus given to potential PP investors back in 2001. The sales forecasts were based on their airport security "suite of products" (there was no Valimed of SafePill concept at the time) which they damn well knew were not marketable at that time IMO.
I believe the five year forecast was $50,000,000 in revenues.
The prospectus accomplished two things, it made investors continue to believe that the Loch Harris PR's were not FALSE AND MISLEADING thereby dodging lawsuits and it brought in PP money.
A scam? Hell yes, but a controlled scam not as blatant as LH IMO.
Tis a singular lack of discussion on the TCL board regarding this new competition. Paige, are you going to post the news there?
OT: A friend of mine went to a salon and had his feet soaked in the water bath which claims to extract the toxins out of your body- the one we talked about.
He swears by it.
"Maybe diddy will enlighten us as to the type of technology we are dealing with."
Welp Paige, without reviewing the patent this is all we have:
How does it work?
Senzur employs a sophisticated patented circuitry and high-frequency light to stimulate a response from the chemicals that make up methamphetamine. The Senzur unit will vibrate and also alert the operator on a color Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) when methamphetamine is sensed at a distance of three to six inches from the detector head.
I'm guessing that "high frequency light" means at a frequency greater than visible, in other words, in the UV range. Does it "stimulate" a fluorescent response? Helluv I know (TM- Crow).
I like the vibration feature.
Unfortunately, without funding from our resident philantropist, WMFT, I don't think I can raise the funds in time to visit their booth and fully evaluate the unit.
Paige have you done a patent search under Mk-IX technologies?
"Trace almost always leads to bulk." That's interesting Paige, where did you get that one? LOL
Eschrine, there wasn't much to comment on a couple days ago. Looks like they "enhanced" their website.
Manufacutured by Mk-IX Technologies- never hear of them.
Judging from their Q/A, it appears that they are familiar with the Meth Gun and are making a comparison.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Ahhh come on tmucc, let wmft cry about a conspiracy theory and at the same time accuse posters of being part of his imaginary cabal! LOL
What a joke.
"Introducing the new SENZUR™ device, MSRP $1,999.00, a significant advancement in handheld methamphetamine detection using a rugged field instrument for law enforcement and security personnel."
Significant advancement compared to what? Ahura? CDEx?
Hmmm... I just might have to go to the show and check this out. I'm sure WMFT will pay for all my expenses. LOL!
I think this is going to be our year. EOM
"Since when has any of the "EXPECTIONS" BEEN MET?"
Always over "anticipate/expect", always under deliver.
Tis the way of penny stock scams.
Why did "the perfect partner", Baxa, say adios to CDEx and dump most their holdings for a loss?
That says it all.
And still CDEX has to sell the remaining Baxa inventory before they can make another dime from Valimed sales.
That says even more IMO.
"You and I trying to debate this Co. Would be nothing more than an exercise in futility."
Judging from your idea of a sentence- agreed. lol
About CDEX's competition:
"Specifically, FirstDefender’s library has been increased from 4,100 to more than 6,500 unique chemical signatures to help further protect against threats from chemical weapons, explosives and their precursors, narcotics, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs) and more."
http://www.ahurascientific.com/about-ahura/press-releases/pr20080128.php
"I could tell you things that I heard regarding the reception the company got at the show but I would be assaulted here for being a hypester and passing rumors, so I choose not to."
Wrong! You chose to spread a rumor and just did.
Closer claimed to have bought 777 shares and Raiderman 200.
They ain't gunna get any cheaper than that. These are bargain basement prices.
Time to back in the truck and load up. LOL
Crow, best that you define the word "sell" before considering your question.
Paige, what ever happen to all that federal funding you thought would be available at the end of '07 to combat meth?
Remember how you were connecting the dots? LOL
MSHP meth gun evaluation/ New Orleans Home Inspection Show:
If you don't have anything positive to report, don't report anything at all.
Record Valimed sales in Q4?
We wait.
Paigemeister, the Huntsman Cancer Institute project fall through.
"They probably got together and decided that UofM was going to do the Study."
There were no signatures developed for chemotherapy, not by Huntsman or the UOU. That project was put into a PR over two years ago and there is no chemo drugs listed on the CDEx website.
CDEX is once again claiming the same thing except this time it's a "cooperation" with Imperial Hospital group in the UK.
I wonder why huntsman abandoned the project- that's assuming that they had even considered it in the first place.
The pattern of CDEX boolsheet is very predictable.
Yawn....
"You act as if Ahura had a beginning like Cdex..."
Oh no I don't Paige, no I don't! LOL
Ahura wasn't born from a total penny stock SCAM.
Did we get a European distributor "by the end of the year"?
OK... that was long enough. Anything exciting happen while I was away?
Or... why not target ER staff like CDEX's competitor, Ahura:
http://www.naemsp.org/
Paige, so what happen with The University of Utah's Huntsmen Cancer Institute using Valimed for developing chemotherapy signatures?
Why partner with Imperial for testing when it was suppose to happen with our Homies two years ago?
Religious differences? LOL
I think they'll do the same thing they're doing now, develop signatures for compounded IV solutions- especially since the cytostatic powders require a much more stringent handling protocol.
I agree Paige, not to shabby- Imperial Hospital that is.
Here's the meat of the PR:
...a partnership cooperation with the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London to test ValiMed in the Hammersmith and Charing Cross hospitals and to work together in developing new medication signatures including chemotherapy and cytostatic drugs.
Not a sale, another beta partner like the rest.
What ever happen to The University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute which was suppose to investigate Valimed for chemotherapy signatures?
That was two years ago and we haven't heard a thing.
Yawn...... "where's the beff" (TM- Marcine)
"....If it's Meth in the end form that were looking for..I'm sure that residue will be in well known areas.."
That's my point. The meth gun is limited to only detecting meth. If it's not meth you're looking for, you won't be able to find it. A negative reading for meth does not mean a meth lab site is safe. There are many other precursor and intermediate chemicals that are harmful even at low level acute exposure.
"There are many different chemical "recipes" for “cooking” meth. Each uses different ingredients. Many chemicals used in meth labs are also common in homes. However, the poor handling and disposal of these chemicals, as well as mixing incompatible compounds, can create hazards. Common household chemicals used in meth labs include flammable and volatile solvents such as methanol, ether, benzene, methylene chloride, trichloroethane, and toluene. Other common household chemicals include muriatic acid, sodium hydroxide, table salt, and ammonia.
Meth-related chemicals not commonly found in large amounts in homes include anhydrous ammonia, red phosphorous, iodine, and reactive metals. Other hazardous chemicals can be formed during the “cooking” process.
Many chemicals may contaminate a property after cooking meth. Carpeting, wallboard, ceiling tile, or fabric may absorb spilled or vaporized chemicals. Furniture or draperies may become contaminated. Outdoor disposal sites may also require evaluation and cleanup."
Many of the chemicals used in the “cooking” process can be harmful. Short-term exposures to high concentrations of chemical vapors that may exist in a functioning meth lab can cause severe health problems or even death. For this reason, meth “cookers”, their families, and first responders are at highest risk of acute health effects from chemical exposure, including lung damage and chemical burns to different parts of the body. Heating solvents inside a building can create a highly flammable situation; meth labs are often discovered when fire fighters respond to a blaze.
The meth gun is not going to detect all meth lab hazards, just like Valimed is not going to prevent all IV prescription errors IMO.
Once again the application is being sensationalized by the CDEx stock promoters.
I'm still awaiting capnmike's "wow report" on the New Orleans show.
