There's been a range of predictions on the board about the buyout PPS. From as low as $7/share to $15/$20 per share. I haven't seen any predictions higher or lower than this as of late.
I still hope you're wrong. ;)
I'm hoping you're wrong about the R/S. I really am.
Agreed. I highly doubt the anywhere close to the masses know about Titan. I've got some good friends who are trading/investing junkies who had no clue what Titan was when I brought it up to them.
It's been said the masses don't even know about Titan. LOL! Sometimes I think they maybe right.
This should bring a lot of buzz. Granted, I know FDA approval is more important but starting to see potential sales put in writing is very encouraging to the confidence.
"- letter from Medassets detailing they would be likely to purchase units within the calendar year"
I haven't been as long as the majority on this board. I've only been invested since 2014. But there are others on this board who have been invested for A LONG TIME. I just get a bit disappointed (and really disappointed for the others who are MUCH LONGER than me) when I read stuff on the board about being bought out at $5 or $7 per share. Granted, I'd still be in the money but still. When you go through a roller coaster ride of an investment like this you'd like the profits to be high enough where you can say to yourself "But all of that was completely worth it." I can only speak for my investment but if this thing only ends up going for $7/share (assuming it is bought out). Though it will have made me some money. It will have some after taste to it seeing the roller coaster ride it took to get there.
Then make something up. Like they're going to issue all the shareholders vouchers for a weekend of revelry and debauchery in Vegas or something. ;)
NOW YOU'RE DRINKING THE KOOL-AID!!!! WELCOME TO THE PARTY!!! WE'VE BEEN WAITING ON YA!!! LOL!
For kicks and giggles if it were sold "today" what do you think the pps would be? If it's over $1.83/share I'd breathe a sigh of relief. LOL!
True, but I've got enough other things to have to consider the "downside" of in other areas of my life. That adding another one with much less significance (compared to the others) is not worth it. Hell, I'm in at $1.83/share with money I can stand to lose. So I'm hoping and expecting the best.
Granted I would love for it to be more but even in that price range it would GREATLY benefit my family to sell at those prices. But I do leave room for things to not go as plan (in a positive way) and we do get bought out at $25+/share. That happens and I'm buying expensive cigars.
No kidding. I am very curious as well. It seems the board smart folks say that if we $10-$15 we'll be doing good.
No disrespect intended but you say:
"Just fed up with the FUBAR FUD that is constantly spread by Amateurs around here who think 30K shares of this stock should have changed there financial lives already."
So if the opinion's of those on this board are "Amateurs" are you suggesting we should take your comments as an "expert" opinion?
Yes, that is possible as well. But is it safe to say you can still promote your company without revealing things to competitors that could be stolen? I'm asking as a legitimate question. Because I'm not in the medical field and do not know.
Having a deal already in place with some contingencies is a plausible reason for the lack of promotion of the company. Because it simply doesn't make sense for a company with the technology Titan has to NOT promote it and seemingly go out of their way to not promote it. That isn't just a coincidence. It's intentional.
I agree with this. I've spoken to several people in the medical field this past weekend who are heavily invested in Titan. They basically said the exact same thing you did. The PPS isn't going anywhere until the financing is completely taken care of and no longer an issue. Like you, they are no longer putting anymore money into Titan. Every time they buy more another funding happens and their investment immediately drops into the red. They are in a holding mode and I don't blame them.
And I guess most here are trying to understand the logic behind how this company can be further along than it was two years ago yet the PPS be dang near a fraction of what it was then. I don't know the reason. I'd love to knon. But I simply don't. But ultimately any questions about PPS, the operation of the company or anything dealing with the business falls at the feet of those running the company. From what I've gathered here management could at least be promoting the company more than they have. No, they don't have a finished product to sell yet but how many companies have been in this same position but still promoted their company and what they were doing? Many questions being asked on this board are legitimate and reasonable questions.
Well, I still think this will ultimately pay off but if the SOB tanks and we lose all our money it wouldn't shock me at all. Especially seeing how management has handled this entire thing.
He very well maybe easy to get in touch with. But if I'm not mistaken several people on the board have already spoken to him before, asked questions and really didn't get any useful information. So why bother? It is obvious there is something going on behind the scenes (whether it's in Randall's control or not) that is keeping the PPS share at these low levels. It makes zero sense (in my finite mine at least) that roughly two years ago we are a lot further from where we're at now yet are trading over $2. Makes no sense. People point to the exchange we're on but hell, we were on this same exchange back in 2014 when it was over $2.
I wish I could ask a few questions to the Titan Management but it seems even those who have been able to speak with them don't really get much useful information out of them. So I'm not sure it would even matter. My gut feeling tells me ultimately this thing will be a huge success but the ride there is about as bumpy and confusing as I've seen.
Man I'm with you on everything you're saying. This stock's behavior is something out of bizarro world. I've gotten my cost into this thing to $1.83 and figured by now I would be "in the money". I initially invested in Titan in 2014 and figured by now, with the progress the company has made, we would be above my average cost. But I've been wrong at every turn. I have no clue what the rest of the year holds (regarding PPS) because it seems with any new good news (that would normally send any other stock price up) ours either stays the same or goes down. *Shoulder shrug*
Granted I'm not an expert on stocks and what a stock should be priced. But it certainly doesn't make much sense when it wasn't that long ago we were pushing $2.50/share and since that time we've accomplished a ton more to get to the market and it's done nothing but sink like the TITANic (pun intended) LOL!
I've said before it's like dating the hot chick that you know is out of your league. You're always worrying about everything she does or says because you know she could do better at anytime. That uneasy feeling just never goes away. LOL!
That phrase is banned on this board. Please refrain from suggesting such a thing. ;) LOL!
No sweat man I believe you. There has been many times I've legitimately been told something was going to happen and advised people I knew only to have something unexpected happen and change things. We're not perfect and things change very fast.
Man that makes me feel a lot better reading that. Investing in stocks like this can be a roller coaster ride of an experience. I invested in a penny stock about ten years ago and it was like dating a hot chick who you always felt like was about to break up with you. A very uneasy feeling.
Yeah agree about the lowered expectations of PPS. When I first bought in I had visions of Intuitive type share prices. But now I'm not so sure what it will ultimately be by the time this thing is sold (which in my opinion is exactly what's going to happen).
My gut feeling tells me anywhere between $10-$15/share. But I could be wrong on that. It could very well sell for $5/share or go the other way and sell for $20+/share. Who knows? I just want all of us to make some good money and see a lot of smiling happy faces with our investment.
Man I couldn't agree more. It is amazing to look back and see just a few years ago this stock was $2.50 on a helluva lot less information. Now we all cheer and start popping wine bottles when it goes over $1. Baffles my finite mind fo sho!
My brother in law (who turned me on to Titan stock) said a few months ago that the company could sell right now and we'd make money just based off the technology Titan has to offer with their unit. Granted, we wouldn't make as much compared to down the line. But the point he was making was Titan has market value and unless you bought in at some ridiculous price (which I don't think anyone really has because the price hasn't been at a ridiculous amount) you'd make your money back.
I think we're getting closer to seeing the appreciation we've all been waiting on.
Well, going by a few of the board experts Titan will (at some point) do a reverse split to get on the U.S exchange. That is the only way to do it. So if you don't mind that and actually look at a R/S as a good thing then you should be very happy. LOL! Welcome aboard!!!
In all seriousness, I think Titan is the real deal and people who invest will be rewarded.
I have no clue. My hope would be the closer we get to bringing this to market or after we actually hit the market the demand for the stock will go up and be able to meet the minimal requirements to uplist to the U.S. exchange.
I just don't want a reverse split to be the avenue they take to get us on the U.S. exchange. I really don't...
I gather you feel all of these changes are due to something good on the horizon. I sure hope you are right. Honestly, the best thing for me to probably do is to simply not even look at this stock until the end of 2016 early 2017. Lord it can drive a man to drinking! LOL!
I'm sure the lack of responses are due to frustration. The company is so vague or just completely silent on everything they do, who the heck really knows what to think. At this stage of the game all anyone can do is just sit back and wait.
It would be a huge difference if the market value at the end of 2016 is significantly higher than what it was at the end of 2015. That is the value they use as the price in which the shares were "sold".
So for example (if I'm understanding right), if your average share price is $1.50 and the PPS was .60 at the end of 2015. You would simply show a "zero" net gain or loss and owe nothing. But if you waited and filed for the 2016 tax year and the PPS had appreciated to $3.50/share at year end. Then you would pay taxes on the "gain". That's my understanding of it at least. Not saying I'm right.
This is my line of thinking. Why are "we" so certain we are going to need a R/S to get off this exchange? If Titan meets the milestones and begins selling units I don't see how the PPS wouldn't be high enough to not have to do a R/S.
If they can't raise enough in this allotted time then something is majorly wrong.
Is a reverse split unavoidable? We are right around the corner from some major milestones that should boost the PPS. Human trials aren't that far off. If that doesn't boost the PPS then they might as well shut down shop and close the doors.
Let's all be honest. This financing was something we were discussing as a possibility last week before Sages. So it shouldn't come as that big of a surprise. I just hope this is the last one.
