I wouldn't touch much in that industry at current time. DVD rentals are soon to be a thing of the past as broadband/triple play takes over.

KONG coming back nicely today, HAUP getting ready.

They won't report until late July, so my thought is, the market will get a sell off in early june and RADN with it. Then play into earnings since they had such a huge increase in backlog.
Buzz
Damn thing fooled me. ALmost started at 8.65 but thought we'd get a day of capitulation. Waiting for a little pull back on it in June.
Buzz
Damn the timing. That's a pretty ugly warning. I'll wait now for the CC to see outlook for next Q. Very surprised they would have that great of a drop in rev.
Buzz
HAUP, looks ver set up here with an odd chart pattern. Long today 6.14, second buy planned 6.02 w/ stop around 5.70. Fairly low P/E and a lot of cash, but their software being used in the new Apple set top box, the catalyst. Also, if memory serves since I've follwed them from years, much of their microsoft licensing deal is recognized in Q1, although the Vista launch may change that as per notes in last CC. I like the descending triangle set up for a reversal with the beautiful positive MACD Hist divergence.

I LOVE THIS BOARD!!!!
Outta here, have a great night all. eom
Geez, he starts every post with a reply to himself. If that's not nuts, I don't know what is. Plus, he comes on and posts like 400 posts at 2 in the friggin am when no one is around. Telling you, friggin nut job.
But I do like him and PM occasionally about stox, and he had a great call on the SPEX bottom, an old pick of mine a few years ago that I took 40% from only to watch the pos double. Don't like his OTC stuff, however.

How could ANYONE not watch star trek? I'm a bit of an insomniac, and it's on at midnight on Sunday nights here in LA. Watch it every sunday night!
Buzz
Hi missy. I think brig is two timing you. Hate to be the one to tell you.
Buzz
I don't know. I have him on iggy ......
;)
He obsesses too much for my taste.
Buzz
OMG, DO YOU ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND the length of time and PURE MENTAL ANGUISH it takes brig to type anything????
I'd bet my money on a monkey in front of a typewriter doing a complete, coherent sentence faster than brig.

As long as she doesn't start evey post with

I know for sure he's not adopted, but knowing my ex wife, he might belong to the homeless dude who digs bottles out of the recycle bin on trash night.

ROTFLMAO, LINE OF THE DAY!!!
Uh oh, now you've done it, children bragging:
My oldest is one of the top 4 sophmore policy debaters in the country. He and his partner finished 3rd in the nation as freshman, and competed varsity all this year as sophmores. He's kind of the absent minded genius type, so absent minded, he forgets to do his homework. Unfortunately, I decided it reached the "critical" level, needing to assess priorities, and am not allowing him to compete at the sophmore championships that are going on right now due to a couple of D's on his midterm. The classes he likes, all A's. The one's hes doesn't, welll .......... He's also a very accomplished guitar player, rock and jazz, and will be performing with a rock ensemble at the Knitting Factory in a few weeks, having played the Whiskey several times. The debate coach at Berkeley, however, has contacted us and if he can get up to a 3.8, would like to offer him a scholarship.
Number 2 is a typical middle child, bad, but also a 4.0, student council president, lead in the school play, runs cross country, and a skateboard rat. He was offered several high school scholarhips, and will be attending the same priv school his brother goes to next fall.
Number 3 is my little darling. Just the sweetest kid on earth. Very smart, great athlete, and one of those kids that just seems to know something no one else does, but want to. His third grade teach said when they vote on something, no one will raise their hand until they see how he is voting. He also LOVES sitting with me and talking about stox and futures and understanding the market, which I find quite remarkable for a 9 year old.
Congrats on your daughters! That sounds awesome, and I always love exchanging "success" stories about kids. She should definitely do the camp. My oldest went to a U of Michigan debate camp last summer, and LOVED it.

You also need to remember he's a heroin addict, having to replace his drinking habit once he got stuck in Afghanistan.

I've met raw, I've actually never met brig although I've been in his city a few times since I have family there, but we could never hook up. Raw and zep recently had dinner in vegas, and brig and zep hooked up a year or so ago. I had dinner with swampy in NYC, and want to hook up with him again next time he's out here, or me there. Great guy, and actually speaks coherently despite his convoluded posting style.
Raw's a good guy. I hope to hook up with him again in the not too distant future.
I've threatened to do a swingtrade get together in vegas, maybe this summer, but there just never seems time. All the trading and what not. Plus, with three kids and being a single parent, my time spread pretty thin as it is.

I'm in charge everywhere, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, that's why it took me so long to reply. I had to take a nap first.

My younger sister was just here for a visit with my niece, and it reminded me of going to her kindergarten for their "may day" celebration, and wrapping the streamers around the maypole.
The funny thing is, her 8 year old daughter seemed to develp quite a crush on my 9 year old son, and we had to explain the concpet of "cousins" to her.
Say, there's another NC and southern tradition, ignoring the laws that govern cousins!!! Raw probably likes that one two. I think I noticed he had an extra finger on one hand last time we had lunch.
Buzz
I'm sure he will, but depending on the number of guiness's he's consumed first, he may not be very accurate, or he may ask why you're hiding them under your dress.
Buzz
Depends if I get "brig's rate". eom
I know for a fact. At least, raw told me when they're together brig needs his "little blue pill", but maybe that's only when he walks on that side of the boulevard.

Maypole

This article discussed the tall wooden pole. For other uses see Maypole (disambiguation)
Dancing around the maypole, in Åmmeberg, SwedenThe maypole is a tall wooden pole (traditionally of hawthorn or birch), sometimes erected with several long coloured ribbons suspended from the top, festooned with flowers, draped in greenery and strapped with large circular wreaths, depending on local and regional variances. What is often thought of as the "traditional" English/British maypole (a somewhat shorter, plainer version of the Scandinavian pole with ribbons tied at the top and hanging to the ground) is a relatively recent development of the tradition and is probably derived from the picturesque, Italianate dances performed in mid-19th century theatricals. It is usually this shorter, plainer maypole that people (usually school children) perform dances around, weaving the ribbons in and out to create striking patterns.
With roots in Germanic paganism, the maypole traditionally appears in most Germanic countries, Germanic country-bordering and countries invaded by Germanic tribes after the fall of the Roman Empire (like Spain, France and Italy), but most popularly in Germany, Sweden, Austria, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Finland in modern times for Spring, May Day, Beltane and Midsummer festivities
Wanna play "wrap my may pole"??? eom
Can you afford his viagra tab????
I'll make sure to note your ifon pick at 3.75 today. That was a stellar call.

Would it be helpful to anyone if I started a list of stox in the ibox of watching, recent trades, current positions, tracked from all the posters on the board? If only one or two think it would be helpful, then it's not worth the time. If a bunch do, I'll start doing it daily.

Maybe you should be in something safe like bonds since you whine so friggin much over your stocks.

WYY gonna meander a few more days imo, then run. Watching the trading, there was 100K trade the other day at 1.50 .05 over the ask at the time. My guess is, the specialist couldn't fill an order so went short on it and covered part off the large block at 1.40 this am, then put in a bid at that price that woulda covered the rest, but then some retailers took the price up a bit. Looking for another dip to 1.35 to finish buying.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Refinery snags that left two Iowa storage facilities short of fuel over the weekend are a reminder of how tight the U.S. gasoline market has become and why average prices could soon top $3 a gallon, experts said Tuesday

Zeptepi is an Ancient Egyptian term. Mythologically, zeptepi refers to THE first time - the time when the world was created and the Gods walked the earth. This was a time of perfection, when all was well and everything worked as it should.
Looks like a nice little breakout play. eom
