Let us know how it works out for you, I am quite interested in knowing if it works.
Good luck
Just got off the phone with my brokerage. No problem tradeing Cwrn up or down. TD Waterhouse.
Some brokers won't allow tradding, past posts have said that and have listed Brokeages which do allow it. I know it is a lot of work ( reading ) but check out past posts, its there.
GL
Which broker
At what price were you trying at and did you get any at all?
Thanks in advance.
Thats the way, keep hammering the ask.
That is when I will start my buying it up.
Now up to .0015
good luck. be crefull and keep looking for shreds of current news.
All thoes who bought at .0007 Wow You just doubled your money, good for you.
Gl to all
And seeing as the SEC has made clear the he is not in need of stepping down while making other companies innthe list do so, i believe it will turn out that he was slightly entrapped, or was just a desperate human being who fully cooperated after being caught in the isolated incident...which did nothing for share price...and how could it for a couple grand...either way a stupid stupid move likely, and we get throu it and achieve the next set of goals....
To all.
This is what I have been thinking, Bob may have been desperate, lets face it starting a Iron mine requires money, you can taste the ore when you put a shovel in ground, but you cant't fill a ship useing a pick and shovel, you can't get enough investors to help, and you won't have enough life time left to see anything to fruition, so what is left, it would partialy explain why Bob has run the company the way he has. Knowing he did something he new was stupid and knowing he would eventually be caught if he fought the CE. and knowing this would come out eventually, what is better defending in court a small op. or a major development that has a lot more to lose.
any way just another way to look at it and get people thinking. Instead of looking for a rope, go back to the beginning and follow what has taken place to get a mine going to where it is at present. See if people can figure things out for themselves. NO I do not mean go back to the beginning of CWRN on the message boards. Hummmm, sounds like I am sying DO your Due Dilligence finnally.
I am watching not buying yet. But have 10,000 standing by.
Good Luck.
Kub after rereading this post I felt it best to let you know it is Not directed at you, just useing part of your post to get this going. cheers.
would be nice to find someone in Ensanada who can let us know if the mine is still going on a regular basis. Anyone know someone.
GL
Thank you vesta, thoes are valid questions and I have been asking them myself, only ans. I got so far is what I already knew. Best move right now is wait, it shouldn't be long before we find out if the mine keeps operating or not. Mrs. Cotton can still keep it operating if the courts don't shut it down and I don't at this time beleve that will take place.
Take care all and keep digging. (for more info).
Looks like this is heading for the 4's before too much longer. I have been in and out of this stock since 2008. Can't believe it ever went down. But recessions and world finance problems can cause a lot of problems. I am hopeing the new CEO ( brought back ) can turn this around by years end. Anyone have any thoughts.
GL.
LOL. Thanks John a chuckle is good medicine and I agree, it is not nor has it been a P&D.
GL
Thank you iggyman, The last part of that post, under "Latest News" is of greater interest than the rest of the post. I was not aware that had happened. Will have to verify if it has happened to CWRN.
GLTA
why do you figure that, I see it trying to go up, but not enough intrest by others, too low a share count. I hope it willo go up.
GL
Good news, lets see if it will help lift the sp.
EOD very nice, hopefully tomorrow will be better or at least the same. .58 up is not to bad, considering this is YRCW.
Good Morning, any idea as to which direction this is going to go?
You do seem to be doing it alot, but I doubt it's the best way.
lol
LOL, I see it is back up now.
Anyone know why there is no ask showing?

Thankyou Micro.
I agree, Mr. Cotton should be posting on his web site or getting back to a once a month or whatever PR. It could keep things from getting out of hand. Even if nothing to report just say so. But it is what it is my good friend we have to make the best of it.
Good luck and enjoy your day.
Don
That is why, the water was getting to muddy to see the facts. So I asked Mr. Cotton and got the facts, I didn't want to post as I knew I would no sooner see it on the board and some snipe would jump on the post, but I felt if it could help some and change the tone of the board then I should post. Snipes have their own agendas, some are good at what they do others are like,,, well there are a number of them here you pick one.
Enjoy your day and have a happy.
GLTA
Don
I received this from Mr. Cotton yesterday I wasn't going to post it but here it is.
Yes, there is ore at the port, no, there is not a storage fee, This will be a large shipment, so we still have more trucking to do..
Thanks for being a shareholder..
Quoting idowonder: <--( obviousley the quoating name has been changed by me )
> Mr. Cotton:
>
> I would like to ascertain weither there is a ship called in to pick up ore at the port of ensenada, or if in fact there is ore at the port. With all the BS. going around on boards ( which is usually wrong or ammended to ones own agenda ) If ore is present at the port, it is my understanding there is a cost associasted with it being there for more than a set period of time. What is that cost to store it at the dock?
So there yo have it
GLTA
I totaly agree.
GLTA ( Just be patient )
P.S.
Excuse the frustration and anger, but 13 wks of not smokeing after more than 45 years of smokeing 25 to 35 cigaretts a day has left me a little frazzled around the edges and frustrstion seems easy to come by these days.
Don.
I agree.
Does anyone know if China is the only customer Cwrn has, or has Bob found others? ( China is going into a slow down period now. )
If ore is at port how long has it been sitting there and is there any cost to the company for letting it sit on the dock without any ship to load it onto.
Just interested in finding out as I understand we pay to keep it on the dock and others have and keep touting we have mountains of ore there.
Found this on minning.com. Maybe it is a good thing we are only looking for smaller ships.
Vale’s $2.3B white elephant: Chinese don’t want huge iron ore carriers | Andrew Topf | November 23, 2011
Email Article0 Comments. They were supposed to be the vessels that will ferry iron ore from the world’s largest exporter to the world’s largest customer of the crucial steelmaking ingredient. Instead, Vale’s new fleet of iron ore carriers could remain moored at home docks because the Chinese don’t want them.
Bloomberg reports that the Vale Brasil, the largest bulk carrier ever built, was designed to carry iron ore to China from Vale’s mines in South America, but it has not made one voyage in six months of operation. The reason? China is refusing to accept the vessel, which is part of a fleet of 19 ships that Vale is buying from Chinese and Korean shipbuilders in deals valued at $2.3 billion.
Bloomberg reports Chinese shipowners are saying the carriers will worsen overcapacity and depress freight rates, while steelmakers are also against the leviathan-size ships, which are described as “each almost as large as the Bank of America tower in New York,” because they will give Vale even more control over pricing and delivery.
The article quotes an analyst at China Merchants Securities Co. saying that Vale could have difficulty finding an alternative market for the huge ships, because no other market is as big as China’s. The company could also face large penalties for cancelling the shipbuilding contracts.
I’m pretty sure that Vale themselves have by now realized that they made a big mistake,” he said. “I find it really incredible that they committed so much money in this project without first getting written assurances from the Chinese side that they would be able to use the ships.”
Vale plans to ship about 130 million tons of iron ore on the route both this year and next, Bloomberg stated.
Soo?? What happened at .0036??? anyone
We can still trade through TD Waterhouse as log as you phone your order in, as is the policy with all stocks on OTC or trade under 1.10.
GTLY

HOUSTON , Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (OTC/Pinksheets: CWRN) Management stated today that the original drilling program consisted of 68 shallow drill holes into the Guadalupe iron ore bodies; 66 of the 68 drilled holes contained iron ore lenses varying in thickness from 2 to 14 meters thick. The deepest drilled hole was 20 meters in depth. The last shipment of iron ore and the current stockpiles of finished products have all come from a small section of the 1,500 meters long Coloso Vein (one of four long iron ore veins on the mineral concession) and 26 meters of overburden and iron ore have been extracted out of the section. Currently the company has begun a remedial drilling program to extend the drilling depth to a minimum of 25 meters under the previously discovered iron ore lenses and up to 100 meters deep should the ore body continue at greater depth. In the first of a series of mini drilling programs, four drill sites were chosen approximately 300 meters apart along the 275 degree Northwest Coloso strike in areas of confirmed heavy ore bodies. The results of the program will be made available to our shareholders and the general public upon completion.
Shipping Update: Bulk vessel shipping is currently on hold, pending the evaluation of cost savings on shipment size. The first two shipments of Guadalupe raw crude iron ore were delivered via HandyMax at 38,500 and 36,000 dry metric tons of ore, the latter shipment ended at a cost of $43.00 per wet metric ton of product. Shipping cost has recently decreased, primarily on larger capacity vessels; therefore, Management has asked the John F. Dillon & Company, LLC., to assist in finding and negotiating the best Seaborne dry bulk freight rates available. A decision will be make within the next couple weeks to either ship numbers 3 and 4 separately in HandyMax or combine the two shipments into a SuperMax at 58,000 WMT or a PanaMax at 70-75,000 WMT shipment.
CWRN Current Share Structure: The Company has stated that it is not currently providing any Market Awareness nor is it involved with the market in any way. The share price of the Company's stock is solely dictated by the market.
