Sue, For each million you give up 900,000 shares.
3mn-2,700,000. You keep 300,000 shares
If you don't sell your 2,700,000 shares
In 5 years paim will give you 270,000 or $2700.
In 5 years if the share price were hypothetically $5 ps
your stock would be worth 1,350,000.00
If the share price were $2 - $540,000.00
(the market price in 5 years), whatever it might be!
Or you can sell back your debentures for $2,700. or
you can sell them back anytime after the x date at market or whatever this arrangement is.
I was out scouting for a couple of cheap pnks and came up with this: Tielp - Paxno.
Ron just messin with you a little. My e-mail was correct.
I sent an e-mail today and it got returned. stating fatal error's in the address. Did they move? My info was correct!
We can't read it its Russian
who says?
Sue I haven't looked into what your talking about but there must be information regarding this type of transition on the internet.
Indian, this isn't an untrue statement either. Everyone has had notice for at least 2 months. Everyone can sell their holdings and buy back in after the x date. I wouldn't advise it as I have stated in my previous response. You can put an order in at your sell price and make it a gtc.
Cheers
Know what? I don't get it? This should open up as a $3 stock after the merger is complete. This all ridiculous. We have companies trading now for 1,3,5 and yesterday 9 dollars and have yet to generate any revenue or generate a profit or have debts they can't pay. Mention a going concern and the crowd fills in.
I don't want a company that can really make hundreds of millions of dollars. I want to invest in a company with a going concern. One thats about to recieve an additionl letter for our symbol so it can punctuate what we're all about.
Eky, thanks for the link and the post. Interesting read.
Everyone listen to Price, If anyone knows this stuff its he. He lives in Estonia and works in the industry. He is responsible for getting oil on those tankers. He has more knowledge of whats going on than most of us. He knows how things are structured and their even running a pipeline thru his backyard in Finland (just kiddin). He can tell us things that we might not even know is going on. He is married to a Russian, I think I got this part right. Price is a valuable resource in a far away land. He knows the ins and outs.
Someone earlier today pointed out some mis-spelled words on the pr's. Who cares as long as we get the jist. That is the least thing, Its a Russian company. Try and spell one of their names without looking. I spell for sh-- anymore myself. There was a time I could spell anything thrown at me. Could be a typo too.
jgi, It gets frustrating for sure. Many of us bought in at much higher prices thinking the buyout was imminent. We have lost more than 1/2 or 56% where it peaked. This is a harsh retracement. More than what is really acceptable for any stock. It does seem that many things on the pinks never are as genuine as was hoped. Everyone knew that there was a slight possibility of a merger. But if I remember most thought it was Lukoil doing the acquisition. Its a straightout cash deal for them, their not looking for partners. So here we are. All we can do is wait and see I guess.
Sue, I think whats coming out of the home office is the suggestion that people sell ahead of June 15. So you have a month to put a sell in at gtc at your price. Something I have to correct myself on was the debenture. I guess you can at anytime convert these over. I won't but for every 900,000 the conversion is 90,000. I thought it was a 5 year holding period.
wishmd, these are thoughts never from my mind and I'm sure others as well. Its natural to be suspicious and dumb of us not to look at the various angles of this. I have been more opened minded than I normally would I guess. Its not easy for the company trying to sell themselves to begin with. They have alot of people evaluating them. If this one doesn't prove out none of the others will have a chance either. If they should fail here imo the best they can hope for are the other 2 exchanges. I think we all know to some degree the level of acceptance it will have. The IPO in London will experience much greater resistance imo. I thought it was gonna be a buyout and all of us was curious of who the buyer might be. Many of us got in alot deeper than we wanted to be and this is where we landed. I wish I knew more about the people that own the companies than just whats on the surface. We gotta keep in mind too that this serves the Russian people. If we can get beyond the politics and view it as such we will all be fine. The people there endure enough, and have lived thru enough to last anyone a lifetime.
Chow Stick around, Lewis Black talking on Enron, Tyco, Worldcom and of course Global Crossing. He said all these guys were trying to out do one another. He said they were they greediest of the greedy, but if he was an important Ceo and had all that money he would get something no one else ever thought of. He would give the best salary and pension plan ever and all the perks that would go with the job. What he would get is his own personal,(ball washer). She would always be in front of him as he walked, scrubbing and rinsing, scrubbing and rinsing.
wrongjoe, I see Sibn is a lose, lose position to take. That company has a ton of problems. Insiders, day traders the mm's and whoever may be involved with its irrational ups and downs. Low volume is a good indicator that its being played by the unsuspecting. May as well go to the races, dog or otherwise. That is a stock to stay clear of. That is a perfect example of chasing a snake, the black mamba, who will aggressively chase back.
I just e-mailed the company and asked what we are all asking today. To the Pres. are we better off today at .65 when we could have recieved 2.17. This is the decision you made for all of us. I doubt I recieve a reply.
rkb the first you mentioned was History at close.
I guess the most obvious question to the company is what?
The pres took the trust of the shareholders and made this obvious decision. The assumption was that there was minimal risk buying more stock at higher prices. It was all based on the buyout. Its cost all of us shareholders plenty. NoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW WHAT?
ot: You know fmnj looked very interesting. The company chose a catchy name and a mining company. A company mining for silver. A commodity that people were getting very much interested in again. It looked promising then the company took a twist. It is now working for the government helping it to produce fuel for Bolivia. Its my understanding that none of it is to be exported.
I have no idea what is going on with it mining project?. The interest in the company seem to slump off following this news, and it hasn't had a good run since. It was on its way to bigger highs till this. Sentiment, loss of focus, government entanglement. It gave no clue to investors how they were to benefit from this.
Folks, I don't know!. The ball is in their court now. The Pres. had this vision about making the company bigger and the merger would take our share price much higher than the buyout price. Well, here we are. Where we started. If he can't or they can't bring in new investors or get the insiders investing into the company we may sit like this for a while. Nothing about this merger so far has sparked any enthusiasm. Nwog probably sold out its 10% due to the merger and this didn't help. It may be because its a foreign investment and people aren't comfortable with it, who knows?. Until something creates a spark under it we're not gonna get the fire we desired. If the US was benefiting from all this it would probably be on fire. Imo its going to take foreign investment. This is odd considering.
Doc Holiday! what a character.
Mbp3, maybe so! tid bit of info: energy prices are heading up again.
Max, excellent post. We all thank you for taking the time to share a piece of international news. That news will faxed to every investment firm today no doubt.
The world has plenty of oil and gas, gold and silver, euro's and greenbacks now. We can all go back to bed knowing everything is fine and dandy. Why even bother drilling another well we got plenty. So much oil we can now begin sending some back.
I gotta find the sofa and my blankie.
Thanks, Wrongjoe. I hav had curiosities about this stock and if were overvalued. I don't know what its debt level is and their production level has been way below Char's. For the most part their pps has been in almost lock step with Char or slightly higher. Ndol or Nwog is really a long term hold and it would seem that the pps is ridiculous. Once it begins trading upwards and finds its ground this will only be a memory. The good ole days when alot of shares could be
accumulated.
Wally's world:
On Cnbc the Cfo of Walmart stated shopping is expected to slow because of high gas prices. This sounds so ridiculous, everyone has a Walmart in their backyard practically, we have.
He made sure to stipulate the discount shoppers.
Nothing can stop people from going to Walmart, its like an addiction. It wouldn't matter if winds were blowing at 70mph and they had to walk, they would get there.
Tmy trades on the Amex with 73mln, Kzak. How would this one rank comparitively speaking? It trading at over $6.
Mutual fund companies will jump all over this one at when listed along with the finacial institutions. Some microcap funds may not have to wait.
Char has 45.33 million. This is a huge difference in this companies size.
Thats alot of oil changes.
The NT10Q has pr on Yahoo news.
czstk, Sounds like everywhere I have ever worked. Its in every company in america I think. I have witnessed people exerting more energy trying to get out of doing the job, than it would have taken to do it. Some spend their time chasing the women around too, trying to hook up.
Price, I have grown to have deep respect and admiration for Mikhail. He has a very handsome family. We can't help but feel heartbroken for his parents, wife and children. I wish I could have the strength this man portray's. He reminds me of my dearest brother I lost from an accident. His strength.
He smiles to his family and the world.
He never express's his hardship. Russia needed such a person for President. The people would love him, not fear him. He wanted his people to have something much much better than in the days of the iron curtain.
Now the government has even conviscated an orphanage. He wanted to make the world a better place. He has, he has touched many lives throughout the world. Many of his people, thousands love him and are proud of him. He stood up to what was wrong in his country. This is what Russia needs today.
Putin a person with such power but will never be the man Mikhail is. Putin would not know where to begin. We pray that he is returned safely to his parents and family.
Price I was trying to correct this and for some odd reason I couldn't get back inside Ihub for and hour or more. I am glad I could share this with you.

We would like to send a care package to him, do you think he would get it?

Indian, got to get with the program and get rid of all those suspicions. When the 27bn are gone forever. There won't be any business going on. The selling won't be as its been. Have some faith brother.
eky, that sounds like fun? Nothing like claim jumpers huh?
Kinda like that series Deadwood on HBO. Who will eventually wind up with ownership in the biggest gold strike there?
News of it is spreading all over the territory. Organizations far and wide are claiming legal ownership and have never been to the town.
silver, maybe the house to go with it too. I bet its heavy?
It lost value today. It must be covered with something to keep it from tarnishing?
Sue, just hang in there it will come back. I don't know how many shares you own? But if we don't do this you'll have how ever many shares worth no more than you see today. It woun't get any better. We all have to give up something to gain something. I know you've tried to sell without results. Do your math and see whats better for you. Just make sure your in on June 1. Don't forfeit this too. 3bn shares and .05 is really doable, even .10. You want to take back your stocks here is the way to do it. Seperate ourselves from these bottom feeders. Parasites, Fleas and shake them off!
Encourage one another, agree when you want to disagree, even if you don't believe, support these brothers and sisters who do believe. They may reward you with a nugget or two someday, or a debenture someday when your in need of it most.
So go out among these boards now and spread the word of how great Paim is, and plant those seeds of investing, so they can be there at the harvest, and rejoice. Hallelujah!
