ok, now it's my worst performing...
my best performing stock today so far: pphm
yikes, i'm an awful stock picker
nice science.
what's it worth, and WHEN?????????????????
we
need
money
or stunning trial results
SOON
everything else is bs
the ask is .50!
at .50, it doesn't take much....
if that volume was for an index-related re-balance, the upward move is totally meaningless.
careful here. soft volume could me it's another fakeout so somebody can get out
do we hold $.45 today?
there's been a lot of chatter about the IP platform's value.
If it's safe but has no statistically significant efficacy, why would it have value?
we may still be overpriced.
our daily chart is the best-looking one in quite some time
this board has no shame. each of them, and all of the senior executives, should either be stating that they are accepting no compensation or options until such time as the market cap return to in excess of $100 million, or they should be offering resignations.
they have demonstrated an acute, sustained degree of incompetence in directing the affairs of this entity in terms of protecting the value of the company.
i hope the institutional owners gang up on them and force some changes rather than selling now.
that is soommmme chart
what?? we're sinking!
BTK is up again, and all of my biotechs except tsrx are down from .5 to 5%. what karma.
Bob...even in development-stage companies, the bigs should care about the stock price. our guys don't.
wilbur ross is going on and on right now on cnbc about the need for execs and board members to have their comp be almost exclusively in company stock, with their cash pay being only enough to pay their taxes, SO THEIR INTERESTS ARE IN LINE WITH THE STOCKHOLDERS'.
WAS ANYBODY IN TUSTIN LISTENING?
don't believe it. mm/investment bank holding too much stock is probably trying to make people think it's going to move up..so they can sell some.
so it's .52 tomorrow and sub .50 by the end of the week...
yes, geo...we'd have cash, but the share price still would have tanked horribly after the recent results. the investment community thinks this interesting discovery around anti-ps does not translate into a viable product...it's dead money in their eyes until, or unless, another version is successful at some point in the future.. and they know pphm doesn't have the money to wait for another version to go through trials... we truly are down to the last chance with the randomized/blind trial. we'll either get a reprieve due to encouraging numbers, in which case the water torture can continue, or we're cooked.
i'm hanging on for the hope of a bounce from a reprieve since i only have 10k left to lose now.
even if we'd licensed/partnered, we'd be in the tank big-time after the placebo effect came to light a couple of weeks ago. selling out would have been the only way to lock in any gain.
fat lady is clearing her throat.
the market is suggesting exodus
would somebody with knowledge PLEASE report on the job postings in Tustin relative to whether they're for expansion or replacement due to exodus?
watch our control arm have 12.1 mos
big difference between a perfect storm and a catastrophic one... if i was betting on the one you're hoping for, i'd be buying more. i'm not buying any more of this, so i guess i'm not betting on it.
r622...those events are typically unfriendly to our stock price
i will be shocked with any upward spike. because of the damage done over such a long period and the weakness of the BOD, we would need outstanding results to move up, not good ones. unless this mab shows something quite statistically significant in a couple of weeks, we're dead. i've already lost 80%... i'm still here trying to recover some of it, expecting that the chances are far better that i'll lose more before this is done.
i fear the fireworks in two weeks will be be caused by the floor falling out. there always seems to be price action ahead of news. has anyone noticed we're still going down on above average volume?
let's face facts. a lot of regulars here will get out if this gets back near 1.25.
market's up, and all 11 of my playthings are red.
pphm karma.
Loof won't be donatin' easy...he's down a bit more than me...
let's have a pool. how low will it go before the next trials-related news, which i'll assume will be roughly 3-4 weeks?
i'll say .48
Dew...your answer to me was BS. what technical basis supports this control arm result compared to other tests of the same chemo for the same indication? if you have factual support, present it. if you don't, you should be honest enough to state that you cannot explain it.
what makes you think we'll see .80?
Dew...PPHM's response rate was in the ballpark of past trials for bavi, which measures as positive and consistent for the most part relative to non-bavi patients.
this control arm was not in the ballpark of anybody's past control arm results for the identical chemo combination for the same ailment. while you make several goods points, aren't you curious about that from a scientific perspective? you characterize it as if it's normal for the control arm to all-of-a-sudden show 50% better results than it ever has before.
Dew...why will you not respond with your explanation of the control arm discrepancy vs Avastin's? If this stuff is so black and white for you, how do you explain that delta?
realist... piling on is bad manners.
we'll easily make the .50s
i'll bet Dart and Blackrock are loading up on the dip!
Dew...what are you thoughts regarding the massive variance between Peregrine's control arm numbers at 6+ and prior similar control arms for those same 2 chemos at 3.5-4.5 PFS, like Avastin's?
