Clearly nothing is gonna change your perspective on this. I have nothing to say about any emails that were sent privately. Other than if they told someone about their decision before the PR was released, that would be a problem.
Yep, PPS is low and some people just have to have someone to blame.
It wasn't a few days. They mentioned on may 25th that more info was coming on the name change. The next mention of it was in the July 30th PR, 5 weeks later:
"The company had previously announced that it was working on a name and symbol change in order to reflect the Company as being solely in the Hemp sector. However, after recent developments and several emerging new opportunities in the Technology Sector, and related to the Company's internal marketing and technology platforms, the Board of Directors has made the decision that the current, and more broader appeal, of the name Ubiquitech Software Corp. will fit more closely, and better serve the Company and shareholders as the Company expands."
They spent at least those 5 weeks considering options. You should stop saying that they changed it in a matter of days, it's either misinformed or dishonest. As I've pointed this out before, and am giving actual dates that can be verified this time, you are no longer misinformed.
"Why not just stay silent, or say they are reconsidering?"
So they did this for 5 weeks. They did exactly what you suggest they should have done! Time to move on...
They should end every PR from now on with an all caps disclosure:
"UNLESS WE DECIDE TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT, AS IS OUR PREROGATIVE."
So a change of direction is a lie?
Yeah?
"I maintain there is only one reason to hide from investors and the public...jmo"
Are you sure? Volume remains low. I feel like while there definitely isn't a line of big money fighting to get in right now, we also aren't losing investors.
Today, for example has more volume than most and we still aren't at 2m.
That's about 12,000.00 worth of shares traded. That's nothing.
It seems more like it's just quiet, as people wait to see what's happening with the new developments. And I'm ok with that, because those developments will come to fruition and I'm in a good place for when that happens.
It really does. And the references to "Many upset investors" are misleading. There are only a few investors that have an big issue with them. the majority of those that pop in to make a negative comment don't even claim to be invested.
It's just that the ones with a problem seem to be the loudest.
Everyone trying to tell the chef what to do. Just gotta let him work that grill and know the steaks are coming! lol
You don't have to be right in the kitchen to smell what's cooking.
I'm diggin' this analogy more and more.
Thank you
For now you don't get all the cookouts, just the special occasion ones that the whole neighborhood is invited too. Just know they are still cooking up some good food even if they don't show you the recipe beforehand!
What it boils down to is this is not going to be an overnight skyrocket. It's gonna take a while for the PPS to catch up with the company performance.
You're not being willing to wait for that to happen is not the companies problem and should not result such a negative sentiment.
The problem is, from your perspective, that UBQU is not HLT. They have additional interests. HLT is a subsidiary of UBQU and you want HLT to be their only focus, is that right?
And if so, where do you suppose HLT would be today without the parent company?
UBQU was business savvy enough to help get HLT to where it is today, which is a revenue generating machine. So why don't you trust their decisions on other ventures?
It's like saying "Hey neighbor, you are doing an outstanding job on your first kid, but having a second one is a terrible idea and now kid number one is gonna become a drug addled vagrant!"
And then getting mad they stopped inviting you to the cookouts.
I'm curious, how does get to be number 1 without climbing the ladder?
Actually, PM me that info so I can use it to skip right on past HLT and become number 1 right off the bat with pet meds! If you share it here, everyone will use it and we will all be tied for first!!
Yes, but will they immediately be the worlds largest distributor of pet meds? That's the real question!
Nothing is good enough.
Obviously they aren't online yet? Are you arguing that future products should already be generating revenue? Or are you speculating that they will be the first product introduced by HLT that won't generate a profit?
So share price is always directly related to revenue? And just as important, current price direction is indicative of future growth, or lack thereof?
Prove me wrong.
So negative speculation is ok. It's just positive speculation that's frowned upon?
Thanks! The only thing more I would ask for is I would like them to setup a web cam in all their meetings and give us the address so we can monitor all of their discussions. They could setup a facebook poll so we can vote on their decisions! We can all submit when we are free so they can schedule accordingly.
Now that I think about it, do they really need management? Can't we just make decisions for them as a group?
"This company will end up on the otc ash heap. He NEEDS long term investors to buy up his dilution."
As far as I know, only one person on the board even claims to not be invested.
The rest of us are here for a reason, and it isn't weekly PR's.
You could probably set an example and kick off the beginning of the end for them if you sold your shares. That would teach them a lesson for sure!
PR's won't prove anything? They could possibly give more details on what they PLAN to do. But you don't want that. You want proof. You know what the proof is? It's not a damn PR. It's when they do it. So now u get to sit and wait for pet meds and crypto. Get comfortable. As you have said over and over, you want proof. How can a PR be proof? The PR you want is financials. You'll get those once a quarter. There is something to look forward too.
Lots to be excited about. I'm looking forward to learning more about their plans for crypto. And I'm looking forward to the pet meds. I'm also looking a bit further down the road to how pet med sales will impact the bottom line.
I think the thing that I find the most exciting is that although they have a very profitable company that could prosper just the way it is, they continue to look for new ways to generate revenue. Not just the subsidiary, HLT, with its pet meds and other products, but also the parent company, Ubiquitech, expanding out into different but related sectors and working diligently to do more than just rake in profits from what they have created so far. Why be a 5 million dollar company when you can be a 50 million dollar one?! Or even much, much more.
Lol, James Ballas, the only person on the planet that can recall something once it's posted on the Internet.
I wouldn't even think about guessing that. If any long on here gives a guess, it will be used against them.
I'm definitely not gonna get all worked up over it.
That was June 30. They have had 7 PR's since then. SEVEN.
"just deal with it" (which were Jimmie's exact words regarding going back on the name change by the way).
Can you provide a source for that quote please?
Here is what I found:
"The company had previously announced that it was working on a name and symbol change in order to reflect the Company as being solely in the Hemp sector. However, after recent developments and several emerging new opportunities in the Technology Sector, and related to the Company's internal marketing and technology platforms, the Board of Directors has made the decision that the current, and more broader appeal, of the name Ubiquitech Software Corp. will fit more closely, and better serve the Company and shareholders as the Company expands.
The company continues to expand its HempLife Today subsidiary, and looks to better leverage its software, and processes, into other profitable industry segments, this making Ubiquitech (UBQU), a stronger and more profitable Company moving forward.
CEO James Ballas said, "This was a huge decision to stay with our current, and long-term name, but we now have opportunities in the Tech sector that will not only serve our HempLifeToday division, but will also give us leverage in a new and emerging Technology sector that utilizes all of the talent, software, programming, and lead generation that has made HempLife Today so successful, and now we are going to be applying this to an additional sector. Simply put, we are very excited about this new opportunity to add another successful division to the UBQU umbrella, and we will be releasing this exciting news to our shareholders in the weeks ahead."
Exactly. Comparing the investor reactions to ubqu vs. reactions to similar activities by basically any other company.
I hope so too. The only thing I will add is that Apple has years of experience and teams dedicated to IR and PR. UBQU is still in it's relative infancy and is doing outstanding. I expect that when they do release news, it will be well articulated and contain more news and less speculative guidance.
In other words, I think they have learned a lesson about giving too much insight into their tentative plans and will probably stick to facts about ongoing projects. I hope that's what they do. I'd much rather see one outstanding monthly PR than a bunch of small ones that leave too much room for speculation, which inevitably leads to at least some people being disappointed.
A green day sounds good to me. Yet there are still people crying about the slow news and we are just pointing put how silly it is to get hung up on something like that.
It's tiring.
Right. And Apple hasn't said anything about it yet. They have been quiet about the matter...
Oh, is that an apples to apples comparison?
I saw something about the iphone 8 being delayed. I wonder if that makes them a scam company about to go bankrupt!
Lol. Could be!! Oh wait...
UBQU has a new company coming soon, new products from HLT, new land for growing Hemp for HLT, New employees for HLT, additional space for shipping from HLT, excelent revenue quarter after quarter for HLT and 27 PR's in 8 months.
Thet's 27 in 8 months.
Time will tell. I have put my money where my mouth is. Have you?
Yep. Good things coming!
If not for the "shell company" you wouldn't be able to invest in HLT.
Yep. Pet meds should just be a packaging change. Maybe a new form of delivery (taste changes, whatever dogs will take easily like something to mix in food etc.). Should be pretty simple over all.
