Oct. 28th Greek Holiday??? I see that the real time quote in Greece is operating. I am not sure according to this..... According to Greek Law every Sunday of the year is a public holiday. In addition, there are four obligatory, official public holidays: March 25, Easter Monday, August 15 and December 25. Two more days, May 1 and October 28, are regulated by law as optional but it is customary for employees to be given the day off
"The HFSF will provide whatever state aid is needed via a combination of new shares and contingent convertible bonds (CoCos) that banks will issue," the banker close to the procedure told Reuters, declining to be named.
CoCos are bonds that can convert to equity to help to bolster a bank's capital in times of stress.
in the news today.... private investors can help recap banks. Thus minimal dilution if any at all. The good thing is no reverse split
Good news from an article written by Tyler Durden today :
"" in a separate report, Germany's Bild tabloid cites Deutsche Bank analysts as anticipating a debt reduction for Greece of €200 billion by year-end, an amount which Bild conveniently calculates corresponds to €700 per inhabitant of the Eurozone.""

No matter what happens on a daily basis you have to have a position when Finansbank is sold because the price will go through the roof

HERE IS A SIMPLIER LINK.
When you first open it the high of the day shows so wait a few seconds and then it will give you the real time quote. It will change automatically when there's a trade. The highs and lows plus the volume below the quote is from the day before.
It is in euros so times it by 1.13 the conversion rate and then times your answer with another 1.1 . It usually trades higher in the United States so that's why the extra 1.1.....so the formula is (the quote you see X 1.13 X 1.1 )

After I found out about this site that gives you the real time quote in Athens I keep waking up around 3 am every morning lol...
So I'm going to share the lack of sleep I'm getting :).
See you at 3 AM in about four hours
Plus don't forget the 10 % premium after multiply the Athens quote by 1.13
PeanutBuddaJamm read my long post again as I updated it and made it more clear
It was up 20% in aftermarket in Athens today. Then it followed the down trend as it happened in the US from $1 to $.94
Here is the Athens real time stock ticker for Nbg...
First I'd like to tell you that there is premarket and aftermarket at this site.
The quote you see is real time..... Meaning no 15 minute delay .
Premarket is to 3:30 AM our Easter time. The actual market open starts at 3:30 AM Eastern time. Market is open from 3:30 AM to I believe 10:30 AM our Eastern time.
Type in "Nbg Athens stock quote" then scroll up to the third site where it says Athens and beside the word Athens it has a funny looking (o)in brackets.
And don't forget it's real time. PLUS it's in euros so multiply what you see times 1.13 . This is Euro to American dollar conversion rate as of now... When you get your answer add about
10% to the figure because in North America NBG tends to usually trade at a 10% premium
Make sure you're in for tomorrow and next week
Up almost 20% in Greece after hours
How do you all like me now
