So who keeps selling under the ask?
OK - That is what Tradeking did to me which is why I opened a Scottrade account. They have been great.
Basically someone got screwed by Ameritrade buying the stock and now the are going to get screwed selling the stock. lol
Someone with an Ameritrade account needs to call them and challenge them on not taking orders for CTDT. They should not be able to have it both ways. Either they do trade it or they don't trade it. I would be PO'd if they were blocking my trades.
If Ameritrade does not allow account holders to trade in pink sheets how do they have a 150K block up for sale?
No one can really predict foward splits. It is completely in the hands of the company board of directors. However, the low float with this stock screams for a decent forward split. If there announcements give validation to their claimed capabilities this stock should rise substantially. Shares will be very hard to get and the best answer for the company could be to provide a nice forward split. I expect it. But I am also accused of being unrealistic in my enthusiasm so just realize that it is my opinion.
Jay - I understand wanting validation. I think more info would make everyone happy. But some want to put a price on this stock based on what they don't know. Honestly if these guys cannot do what they say then can then PPS of .30 would be too high. If they can do what they say then can do then why be so skeptical of value. It either has to be a basic lack of understanding of how the market prices stocks or a basic lack of understanding of economics. If you understand those things clearly and you believe the company can really do what it says then be realistic in your valuations and saying this is a penny stock at that point is simply not realistic.
ITS ECONOMICS - Anyone trying to do a comparison of CTDT against any other synthetic diamond producer is wasting their time and must not really believe the process works or understand the value of the process. It is not about the diamond. It is about the process by which the diamond is made. Until now the process has been too slow and too costly. LT continues to stress the incredible margins and low energy cost. There is a reason he does this. NOBODY else can produce diamond this efficiently and cheaply. Competition will simply not be able to compete price wise first and second then diamond can be considered in future applications.
What did cheap oil, electricity, the internal combustion engine, silicon, etc do to innovation? Why did it have the impact it had? Because it's availability became cost effective!
VC as an engineer you should get this better than most. When a product is in R&D then cost is a major consideration. Do you use a nickel fastener because it is more durable or a cheaper material to make sure you can put a competitively priced product on the market. Basic R&D here guys! Many times the cheaper material wins out. Diamond is viable now. How so many on here seem to not get that amazes me. Especially those in science and engineering. Open your minds up to all the possibilities that the use of diamonds and their unique properties can produce. It is endless. It is a game changer. AND CTDT holds the PATENT.
When looking at potential stock price you have to apply Wall Street Math. .30 pps would put a value on this company and its patents of under 25 million dollars. A typical established company on Wall Street sells for a forward multiple of 8 (very low) to 14/15 of book value. Growth companies can go from a forward value of 20 as high as 75 or 80. Lets just assume that CTDT goes for the very minimum for a growth company and use a forward multiple of 20. What do you think the patents are worth? Even if they are only worth 100 million which is an extraordinarily low figure you can figure book value will be close to that figure. No debt but some obligations and not a lot of equipment but probably enough to offset obligations. So 100 million times 20 = 2 billion. 1 Billion is very conservative. So is 2 Billion.
Chemist you can call my figures pie in the sky all you want and look for what you consider reasonable pricing like you got from VC but that pricing is COMPLETELY unreasonable. His figures don't even come close to what the warrants the financiers got are valued at. VC people look for a 10x return on their money. That alone would mean they assume stock price will reach $7.50 at some point in the future. I did not pull these figures out of my backside - they are based on realistic assumptions. As a scientist you outta get that.
What is element6's stock float?
Chemist - I don't think any of us can really put a value to the company without knowing more info. However there are several things we do know that can allow us to form some educated opinions. First the company is making diamonds in a manner that completely abolishes the old forms. The diamond jewelry industry alone is a 72 Billion dollar annual industry and only accounts for 30% of total diamond use http://www.diamondfacts.org/pdfs/media/media_resources/fact_sheets/Diamond_Industry_Fact_Sheet.pdf. There are already siginificant uses for the industrial diamond market http://www.primaryinfo.com/industry/industrial-diamond.htm. Mr. Prentice estimates that there is room for at least 10% of the market to be synthetic diamond. Currently a fraction of a percent is being produced. This is because the current process is so slow.
Until now then diamond as never really been a viable source for new technologies (including computer chips) because the cost was prohibitive. The enormous margins and low energy cost to produce diamonds with CTDT's technology removes those barriers. The new product being introduced is a multi-billion dollar industry on its own and the product is not viable without CTDT's process. Now R&D departments, scientist, inventors and visionaries can begin to look into new ventures never before possible. In short they really can go where no man has gone before. The CTDT process as the capability of spawning hundreds of billion dollar industries. Will they - I can't say. But the potential is there. The final key to the puzzle for them is finishing their measuring system. Once that is done they will be able to produce diamond to precise specifications for whatever applications are requested. Apparently they can already do some of that because the new product requires it.
So the facts are:
CTDT's patented process works.
The process provides enormous margins and low energy cost.
This makes diamond a viable material for new and current technologies (This cannot be overstated).
In short CTDT is already head and shoulders above the competition in a multi-billion dollar industry. But the real value is not in making diamonds but in the substance of diamonds. For the first time in history the unique properties of diamond are available as a cost effective medium in new development. Let the other companies produce drill bits and cutters. CTDT's process is much more advanced than that. It has opened the door to new frontiers. I believe a 1 billion valuation is VERY reasonable for the patents alone. Time will tell if new markets and products continue to drive it much higher.
I agree - I believe we will see a very nice split early. But it won't stop there. The stock will continue to climb and they will continue to split. EVERY time a new application is announced using diamond it will put upward pressure on price and increase revenues exponentially.
Just a matter of time before people begin to see the magnitude of this stock. While diamond has always been a desired medium for use in technology it has never before been cost effective. CTDT completely changes that with the margins and low energy requirements. Announcements of groundbreaking technologies like the one soon to be released will become commonplace because the use of diamond is viable. CTDT holds ALL the cards. IF you don't own you should. If you own some you should buy more. This will be one of those stocks that people will look back on and say IF I ONLY BOUGHT SHARES IN CTDT back in 2013. Those who are patient here and really hold long term will become wealthy. The low stock float will require multiple forward stock splits over the next few years. This is how wealthy men are made!
Fitz - looks like you did not get filled. You might just have to hit the ask man. Who knows who else and how much fresh powder people might have Monday morning.
So what is our high close for the year? .11 or .115?
I guess I missed that excitement LOL
You missed the short run. Long run coming :)
Yep - he can watch his potential profits go right down the drain of his jacuzzy.
Wow - I posted on the 3Dicon board that I bought some shares and they should look at CTDT because the companies are working together and they deleted my post LOL - Talk about paronoia land
I know it has allowed me to add some at good prices :)
We all appreciate the work to get them in to Jay. Hope everyone is working to do that. You will doing your friends a favor.
I think we both will be happy. I just posted on their board and suggested they might want to consider purchasing CTDT stock. Pointed out that CTDT's market would be much more massive then the 3DIcon market and that market is huge on its own. Maybe some will come over.
I did pick up a few shares of 3Dicon today. I think it will be a joint announcement and both stocks will pop. CTDT is still by far the better play because of the low float but more importantly the sheer scope of possibilities from the magnatek process. If it were me my business model would be to license the use of the patent and as a downpayment take a small percentage of ownership in the company. No telling how big CTDT could grow under that model.
I don't think they announce the new product next week. I think we are going to get a series of PR's every 7 to 10 days leading up to the product release. Of course this is just my opinion. If they release the news of the product next week then the follow-up PR's would be anti-climatic. Just seems to make more sense the other way around.
When the new product is announced and the people see how diamond was used in the process there will be a line at the CTDT headquarters of people who NEED the technology to complete their own products :)
Mr. Alvin Snaper has broken down the door to the use of diamond as a realistic solution in new designs and applications in the future. Just think about that for a minute. That is why LT stresses the huge margins and low energy cost. With the CTDT process diamond will not only be a viable raw material but the preferred raw material because of its unique properties. The additional allotropes also. The magnitude of what he has done cannot be overstated. His process can change technology as we know it. There will be a lot of companies like 3DIcon who could not build there product unless the CTDT process is available. It is great to own this stock and also be a part of history.
I believe it is. I could be wrong but a lot points to it.
The crazy thing is IF this is the product it is really just a fraction of the potential uses for the diamonds CTDT can produce. LT talked about new markets and products that never existed before. The possibilities are endless. We know about potential computer chips and that in itself is a monster market. I can't even get my head around what doors that CTDT's process might open. This new product is the tip of the iceberg and as I said, it alone could make us all wealthy.
Sukkit - do you see it?
Look at Hotrods post from yesterday and then look at the Mogus post he references. I don't know Hotrods post number but I think it was yesterday AM. Then check out 3dIcon and the product Mogus mentions. By the way Mogus has been posting on the 3DIcon board for the last few weeks. 3DIcon is going to make a major annoucement very soon. Coincidence! 3DIcon is backed by NG and Boeing as well as some other mega players in the defense and design industry. The puzzle pieces just fit to well in my mind. This product will be epic and is as has been suggested a complete paradigm shift. CTDT provides the diamond and 3Dicon provides the software. I don't have confirmation of this but we all have a lot of the puzzle pieces. You don't need all the pieces to figure out what the picture looks like. No wonder Hotrod and LT and others are so excited. The guys on this board holding shares in the millions or even upper 100K's could potentially be billonaires off of this stock and technology. It is that BIG! Those selling right now are absolutely nuts.
No way they build it as big as this will be. But it is certainly their prerogative.
If they just connected the dots as Hotrod suggested there is no way they would sell yet. I believe I have. This is going to be MEGA BIG. CTDT is going to be starting production BECAUSE they will be filling a major part of another product. The new product has backing from NG and Boeing as well as other major players. There will be instant demand (hence the 3 new machines) for this new product from major players. NO ONE ELSE CAN DO WHAT CTDT AND THIS OTHER COMPANY CAN! And everybody will want a piece of it. Accumulate all you can now because this will NEVER be a penny stock again.
I think it is pointless now. We know most of the float is locked but it is apparent that someone is falsely reporting because we continue to see blocks of 100K or better popping up everytime we get close to a breakout.
Can a more knowledgeable penny trader explain to me how there can be 5k at .105. 3 trades 2 @1k and 1 @5k and the .105 is still there. Why does it not get filled and what is the reasoning behind it.
Thanks
I think as soon as one more buying group or 1 or 2 people with significant resources moves in then it goes. A 400 to 500K day is really all this needs. The move up would be so fast that any sellers would have to wait for it to settle before moving back in. If we hit million volume days this things soars. JMHO
That's the way to do it MBAMann. I keep telling people even if they can only afford 500 or 1000 shares. Buy it. Those share can make them significant money. Build it. The important thing is not how big you start but THAT YOU START. A parked car will get you nowhere.
I agree with your assessment. I have always felt they will need to do a FS very early. I also don't think it will or should be a 2 for 1. I think it will need to be much more aggressive. 3x1 minimum.
I kinda thought it might be a firewall also. If someone had hit the end of the day with a 100K buy then we could have blown past .18. By putting the 150K it pretty much stopped everything. Q could be right though. We might just need to buy some knucklehead out. His loss, someone else's big gain.
Seriously - someone just sold 1000 at .0911. Stop trying to hold the price down it is a losing battle.
I think that 23K is going to be enough to make you wealthy. Forget about the rest. That will just make you filthy rich!
Would be great to see that last 7K cleared and move up to .115 before close today :)
