Lasers said: "ELI-216 is designed to stop the accidental deaths by those in pain and following the container instructions. It cannot be defeated with household mechanisms like microwave, oven, coke extraction etc. and still have analgesic properties. That is what the FDA wants."
Accidental deaths don't occur by people *deliberately* putting pills in the microwave or oven or using coke extraction, etc! Accidental would be taking too many pills at a time or taking them too often. Elite's methodology wouldn't stop that. It stops getting off deliberately on the meds, which in turn leads to going for drugs such as heroin instead.
Now that it's clear that addicts have simply turned to heroin due to not being able to get Oxycontin, our patented 2-bead process of making abuse-proof drugs doesn't make ELTP such a guaranteed winner anymore, i'm sorry to say. or so it seems to me...(and seems reflected in pps too)...
1. Do they get patent extension automatically or do they have to apply for it?
2. Has the patent extension been officially granted?
Sure is no fun for those of us who bought yesterday, thinking a major event was about to happen...
"massive daytrading"=massive naked shorting??? EOM
Lasers--Thanks for info! EOM
ACT TREATMENT GRANTED ORPHAN DRUG STATUS!
"The European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) has officially designated ACT's human embryonic stem cell (hESC)-derived retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells as an orphan medicinal product for the treatment of Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy (SMD)." from ACT news release (I think today).
Lasers: you said "Akorn new historical high hitting $16.13 and going higher.
Jerry Treppel doing the exact same for Elite business model as Treppel did for Akorn. "
Could you please describe the business model Treppell did for Akorn?
Crawford, I do not know Gary's email address and it is not posted on the website. However, you could write to the Investor Relations person and/or call him.

Thorfinn--When do you expect ELTP $1.00?
Crawford--Why don't you email Gary your message? That would be a more direct way and more likely to get to him. He's not gonna wade thru the gazillion messages on this board. (If he spent time that way, then we would *really* have something to worry about)...
Nevertheless, Purdue's new formulation has been patented, so wouldn't Elite face patent-infringement?
"Purdue will say only that “the OxyNEO formulation has been patented” and stresses the terms weren’t approved by Health Canada."
That's typical Lanza. He stays, he sees it through, he is committed and determined, AND he wins. His whole life, he has done the impossible!
His own words on video wrt ACTC headaches year in and year out: "If i wasn't a stubborn Italian, i would have thrown up my hands at least 25 times!"
Tangerine: Wouldn't Pfizer, etc, have patents on those drugs for a long time before Elite could make generics of them?
Hike, thanks very much for your work!
ryan g--OK, thanks for clarifying.
Will someone else please reply to the post i'm replying to, with an answer...(i.e. how will Elite make it with all the competition out there for abuse-resistant drugs???)
The misspelling is irritating but probably doesn't hurt the company's image, given the rampant occurrence of such errors these days, even in legal contracts.
Fordwill--it's not that ACT has trouble finding patients willing to have their eye-sight improved. There are plenty of candidates. The issue is that most of their candidates are elderly and turn out to have other health problems that disqualify them from the trials. I think ACT is trying to get permission to enroll some of those patients desite the other health issues. Sorry i don't have a link for this but i recall reading or hearing it.
I added a boatload today. Sold other stuff (at a loss) to buy ELTP. Hope i was right...
And your point was what, exactly?
It means: if you want to be sure of never being wrong, don't ever take any risks. But that way you'll never accomplish anything--so therefore, that strategy is wrong.
Thanks also, Steges, for this info! Definitely reassuring!
Thanks, Steges!
Will someone please tell me if AKORN was a turnaround company, turned around by our Jerry? Thanks.
Lasers, thanks for the education. This naked shorting BS should be illegal, imo.
But I have read several times on this board or others that so long as MMs keep total number of shorted shares below a certain threshold, the SEC doesn't care. Or something like that...so MMs do keep it below that threshold to avoid SEC.
Good idea. fwiw, that's what The Motley Fool says to do. (But they aren't dealing with penny stocks).
But if it can be taken down at any time to .10, how do we ever move up and keep going up?
So then we can expect to be taken down even lower than what's happened today in order to fill that gap? If so, why would anyone bother buying in the .12s or above, regardless of how good the news is?
How is naked shorting ever gonna end so long as we stay on OTC/pinks?
Can we get on Nasdaq in any reasonable timeframe without a reverse split?
Would R/S help us or hurt us?
Are we now seeing that gap being filled that was waiting to be filled? and then we're done with it and go up confidently?
How should we do that?
That's what i mean by Longs "winning". So I know you think that MMs can't hold us down forever...and i sure hope you are right!
What matters is: can we Longs win despite the manipulation???
Yes, disgusted! But *why* is KBLB's name not out there???????
Not me, I've read too much about Lanza's history. He is a winner. I believe he's committed to making this work.
Rocketing after the pps hit $0.03 pps is certainly hopeful info. But why had the stock gone down to $0.03? Were there very bad things going on for the company, like now?
Unless, right in the middle of this, comes great news wrt vision improvement or something of that nature...
Killtoy--Could you please explain more wrt how such a hideous scenario could play out?
