I fudge all the time. That's the only way I can get the pictures to look like I want them to. If it takes a thicker line, so be it <g>.
No, no, I mean blue, BLUE, down, south, etc. Maybe not just immediately, but pretty soon.
I think red. The blue requires a greater stretch of imagination (read fables) as to the probability of fundamental strength (world wide) than I can muster.
Augie, Sorry, I ben gon, way far.
Anyways, yep, more to my liking, but what do I know? The one that catches my eye the best is HK2 post 4181. How he gets that top line closing toward the bottom one more than yours I don't zackly know, but it causes me to get m' shorts ready.
What I do (and suspect many others as well) is draw and draw and draw 'til I find a way to make a picture that I like. You seem to be getting there also with your forks and all. The E-Wave "purists" are the best (worst?) at that. I giggle at your stomping around in their teritory and going "aw shucks" and spit and kick the dirt and all. The truth is, your waves look purty enough to frame as far as I'm concerned.
Raiders stomping the Jets. Gannon really is that good this year. Took him long enough to learn. Gives me hope that I too may eventually graduate from Ned in the third reader and sack up a few coins hereabouts.

What about that ADX decline since the 7th?
Looks like. This morning Augie drew a channel here instead of a wedge.
Sure, I drew that channel as well. How about the alternative, that is, IF we have seen the HOD at 11:00, does one then consider taking off the (speculative, I think) top blue channel line and replacing it with a top-of-wedge line?
Do you really think a neckline from a formation 4-5 months ago cuts much if any ice? No offense.
COMP 4-day wedgie?
Mlsoft:
Nicely done, Sir. Two of three. Will you be taking these home expecting further progress tomorrow? Likewise, I hold three shorts(KLIC, PSFT and CIEN)and am unsure about manana.
Too nice? Shortable?
Have it your way <g>. But that ain't my style. Gives me a headache to be under water so I don't allow much of any slack past my entry, like only a nickle or dime. When/if I get ahead and am working with house money, well then, yes, a bit of slack.
For starters, no debt and 1.6B cash, enough to last a while, maybe. A few pennies of positive profits now and '03, but I am with you, short at 21.51 today. Pretty much a double top with Tuesday and similar to Nov 21. I might be a little careful if I didn't think COMP ought to stall along in here and maybe make a right shoulder in the next few days. Can't go along with the expectations from talking heads today that Sadam might exit and turn th' thing over to -- us? whoever.
Jenna:
PSFT? Double top with Tuesday, and getting close to Nov 21 (intraday or EOD). Low VIX and/or VXN cut any ice in your camp?
Jenna:
NTAP spike shortable?
Yes indeedy. And VIX getting back on down there, 26ish and VXN as well, 42ish. Late November VIX low at these levels signaled the DEC 2 high.
Short KLIC at 6.70
Jenna:
Couple of red candles on the NAZ and SOX on the 5-minute. What?
Carryover from yesterday's news on weaker flash pricing.
Jenna:
Semi-equip gap and crap? Shortable here? AMAT, KLIC, KLAC, NVLS ?
A tad bet on the anticipation of downside from here. Anyway, after four-five days of strength and package hoop-la, a quick buck might be made selling the news and uncertainty about the package effect.
Rt Shoulder ?
Yeah, a full penny <g>
I'm real worried 'bout ya.
Hi Jenna, I'm new around here, but not new to trading; I make my living at it. Like your thread, find it useful. Forced to day trade a good bit (although I prefer a few days, not glued to the monitors) because my longer horizon has not proven over time to be sufficiently reliable. Among others, I hold ZRAN long (this time) from 14.05.
A put-together with 42.89 which has been receeding?
Yeah, it's No 1, has to be because I'm long. Merlin hasn't got it right, I don't think. I've got to side with Zeev that we are going to have some kind of a seasonal lift right in here (rt shoulder coming up, weakish, no more than a couple of weeks or so)then I shift back over to Mlsoft, my natural position. Down the hill in my cardboard box.
A-dadgummed-men !
What's your take on ZRAN, short term, next week? 63% retracement from the runup from 9 to 24 at 14.50.
ZRAN set up for Monday?
Mlsoft -- KLIC
"they" are running the shorts again?
6, good round number for them to stumble against.
Maybe. Perhaps. Everybody has to run out of cods
sometime. This 2-3 day run in the face of a down
market doesn't have the same conviction as early
last week.

s/b 68.54? (Nagging again g)
s/b AMGN 51.10?
No trades
I am a DATEK convert and have had no interruption today.
Mlsoft isn't waiting for either. He took short positions today with the COMP in the region of 1400, give or take. Likewise.
NVLS s/b 29.77?
Bear Flag ?
Would you care to guess how many shares are now short, and percent of the float?
