"GFCI!!! This one could be a huge play! This is from a recent GFCI PR. Grifco holds and owns the design rights and manufacturing rights for producing more than 6000 products used in the oil and gas industry, with more than 150 clients, boasting the biggest names in the business, including Haliburton, Exxon, and Schlumberger. You talk about a huricane play! The whole gulf coast oil consortium will be buying Grifco's products as fast as they can ship them out, to get back on their feet as fast as possible. Refineries, drillers, and platform drillers all will need replacement stuff from GFCI. Do your DD and don't miss the PR's about the new rotorjet drill they have. It has been proven to kickstart weak and marginal wells. Oh yeah... they rent the things out for $5000 per day per unit! %0 have already been shipped and another 50 are on the way. Countdown to start soon! Again DD required"

This is a DRAG & after Reading it go & pick out a AUTO stock >
& it not a Puppy Like PUPS > This is dated and not a joke but I thought you might find it interesting if you have any interest in drag racing.
One Top Fuel dragster 500 cubic inch Hemi engine makes more horsepower than the first 4 rows at the NASCAR Daytona 500.
Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 1 1/2 gallons of nitro methane per second; a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced.
A stock Dodge Hemi V8 engine cannot produce enough power to drive the dragster supercharger.
With 3000 CFM of air being rammed in by the supercharger on overdrive, the fuel mixture is compressed into a near-solid form before ignition. Cylinders run on the verge of hydraulic lock at full throttle.
At the stoichiometric 1.7:1 air/fuel mixture for nitro methane the flame front temperature measures 7050 degrees F.
Nitro methane burns yellow. The spectacular white flame seen above the stacks at night is raw burning hydrogen, dissociated from atmospheric water vapor by the searing exhaust gases.
Dual magnetos supply 44 amps to each spark plug. This is the output of an arc welder in each cylinder.
Spark plug electrodes are totally consumed during one pass. After half-way, the engine is dieseling from compression plus the glow of exhaust valves at 1400 degrees F. The engine can only be shut down by cutting the fuel flow.
If spark momentarily fails early in the run, unburned nitro builds up in the affected cylinders and then explodes with sufficient force to blow cylinder heads off the block in pieces or split the block in half.
In order to exceed 300 mph in 4.5 seconds dragsters must accelerate at an average of over 4G's. In order to reach 200 mph well before half-track, the launch acceleration approaches 8G's.
Dragsters reach over 300 miles per hour before you have completed reading this sentence.
Top Fuel Engines turn approximately 540 revolutions from light to light!
Including the burnout the engine must only survive 900 revolutions under load.
The red-line is actually quite high at 9500 rpm.
The Bottom Line; Assuming all the equipment is paid off, the crew worked for free, and for once NOTHING BLOWS UP, each run costs an estimated US $1,000.00 per second.
The current Top Fuel dragster elapsed time record is 4.441 seconds for the quarter mile (10/05/03 Tony Shumacher). The top speed record is 333.00 mph (533 km/h) as measured over the last 66' of the run (09/28/03 Doug Kalitta).
Putting all of this into perspective:
You are driving the average $140,000 Lingenfelter "twin-turbo" powered Corvette Z06. Over a mile up the road, a Top Fuel dragster is staged and ready to launch down a quarter mile strip as you pass. You have the advantage of a flying start. You run the 'Vette hard up through the gears and blast across the starting line and past the dragster at an honest 200 mph. The 'tree' goes green for both of you at that moment. The dragster launches and starts after you. You keep your foot down hard, but you hear an incredibly brutal whine that sears your eardrums and within 3 seconds the dragster catches and passes you. He beats you to the finish line, a quarter mile away from where you just passed him.
Think about it, from a standing start, the dragster had spotted you 200 mph and not only caught, but nearly blasted you off the road when he passed you within a mere 1320 foot long race course.
That, folks, is acceleration.

Population, Linguistics, and History…
Population analyses estimate that the world population at the time of Christ was about 200 million. By 1650 the world’s population had increased to 500 million. In 1983 the world’s population reached 5 billion. Today there are 6.396 billion and are estimated to increase to 7.934 billion in 2025 and 9.276 billion in 2050. These figures show a growth rate of about .5% per year. More people will be alive when the Lord Jesus returns than have lived and died on Earth since the Flood.
If figured backward from the present day at .5% per year, population had its beginning with the eight people from the Ark about 4,500 years ago. Of course, the population growth rate today is 2% per year. Advancement in medicine, a decrease in death among newborns, and longer life spans in the 20th century account for this high rate. However, at times in history, the growth rate was less than .5% per year because of famines, diseases, and wars. Therefore .5% represents an average growth rate over the many centuries.
The Chinese characters in use until 1966 (when the Chinese reorganized their written language) were four thousand years old. The use of these particular characters came from ancient historical knowledge. The ancient Chinese character for boat is made up of three different characters that stand for vessel, eight, and people.
Another unusual character is the one that represents a flood. This character is composed of characters that represent eight (as in the word for boat), united, and earth. When these three characters are added to the character for water the character for flood is then formed. The characters united, earth and eight are characters for total when not attached to the character for water.
There are many different cultures having stories of a flood that covered the whole Earth. These Chinese words are certainly evidence that the Chinese knew of such an account. Their account agrees with the Biblical account that record eight people surviving the flood.
In fact, included in either the written or spoken histories of over two hundred cultures, is a record of a universal flood. American Indians, Chinese, Maoris, Eskimos, Lithuanians, and even people of Czechoslovakia tell old stories of a world-wide flood. People in ancient times, including the Egyptians, wrote down stories of a world-wide flood. Variations exist, but most of the flood stories include common major ideas.
A considerable number of these accounts record ten pre-Flood dynasties of kings. In each of these accounts, the names of these ten kings can be compared to the ten generations of the Genesis account from Adam to Noah. Each of these accounts states that the tenth king, who would be Noah or a king alive during Noah’s time, had his reign interrupted by a world-wide flood.
The Sumerian legend is the oldest non-Biblical account of the flood. It was written on clay tablets that were unearthed in north central Iraq. These tablets were written around 2000 B.C., perhaps four hundred years after the Flood. The Sumerians speak of God being angry with His people and sending a universal flood to destroy them. Both accounts tell of one man’s family that escaped by building a huge boat.
These amazingly similar stories could only originate from a common source and a single event that impressed the memory of all mankind.
‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth’ (Genesis 1:1). ‘And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth, and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered’ (Genesis 7:19).
People really believe what they want to believe. Because you want to be right with God, you find it easy to believe and accept the facts. A person who is not right with God must find reason, or justification, for not believing. So they accept an indefensible theory like evolutioneven if it will not hold water. That is the academic justification for unbelief. In fact, that is what all the many theories of evolution area mental justification for unbelief. If the unbeliever can accept a theory that leaves out God but can explain the origin of the universe, they can live as they please without being morally responsible to their Creator. Consequently, they are left to the discouragement of the realities of life and death, and they have no hope. The price of unbelief and moral inaccountability to God is discouragement, defeat, and purposelessness.
I’m glad we have God’s Word on which to build our faith. We have a risen Christ, unquestionable proofs, and, as if we needed it, God has thrown in a host of unarguable evidences all around us!
