I totally understand. Though by the same token, it's very sobering to see it shrink on the red days.
Check this post for a map of our (and others) DCs.

Busy at work. I wasn't expecting any groundbreaking highs, so IHUB was minimized for most of the day. I'm glad to see it's not overreacting. This is a normal channel pattern, as I'm sure others have already commented on. IMO, we can expect this pattern until major news comes out....and according to that pattern, we may see another down day or two before we head north again. All-in-all, no surprises today.
Indeed. Fantastic. EOM.
CYMI: November Seasonality coming to fruition. Amazing!
Makes sense to me!
Instead, they lowered the Bid. :(

Oh, Mikey Mikey. Not today, IMO. Please make your posts more substantial.

zapa: My streamer (Schwab StreetSmart Pro) alerts me. I imagine your broker may be able to send you email alerts?
WOW, what a surprise. I go to lunch at noon and return to THIS? I'll TAKE IT!

marty: Thanks. I have seen and used that before. Lately, I've been using my Schwab streamer to chart things. Unfortunately, they don't include key indicators such as the Aroons. I'm sure I'll use quick templates more as I get closer to diving into Seasonality.
Gok: Thanks for the clarification! I understand now. EOM.
GZ is looking HOTT! EOM.
Gok:
Please excuse my newbie-ness. :P
What do you mean by "scan manually?" If you're not having stockcharts or stockfetcher search according to your criteria, how are you finding stocks? Are you just picking them at random and looking at their charts?
If that's the case, then is there a list of stocks you work against? My problem is I don't know that many stocks, and don't know where to get a good list of them.
Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way.
G'mornin'...quiet today.
EOM = End Of Message. It means you don't have to click on the message link to read the rest of it....since there IS no more to the message. It's all visible in the preview line.
I could, theoretically, retire if it hit $2. I'm not sure I'd have the patience to wait, though. 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 would all make my balance look very tempting.
Thanks for the information! That clears things up a bit, for me.
Correct. I have heard that as well.
I think we're well on our way to break-even.
Interesting. Over the summer, I had heard that the Online business wasn't doing well. I suppose I should have done more than simply skim those documents. :)
I did find this interesting tidbit:
"In addition, our online subscription services require considerable ongoing investments in order to increase our subscriber base and implement our plan to fulfill BLOCKBUSTER Online orders from our stores. Since its launch in August 2004, BLOCKBUSTER Online has built a subscriber base of more than one million subscribers. Additionally, we began fulfilling some BLOCKBUSTER Online orders from certain company-operated and franchise store locations in the second quarter of 2005 and continued to expand this fulfillment process during the third quarter of 2005. If we are unable to integrate our in-store and online capabilities fully, our gross margin will be adversely impacted because we will be required to purchase more product to support our online operations. Both our plan to fulfill BLOCKBUSTER Online orders from our stores and our goal of increasing our online subscriber base require significant investment and, as a result, we estimate that BLOCKBUSTER Online will cost us up to $120 million in operating income and significant capital expenditures in 2005 and we may incur additional costs in the future. We cannot assure you when BLOCKBUSTER Online will become profitable."
To me, that doesn't sound to rosey, though the real "meat" may be disclosed in a different section.
With Blockbuster releasing an 8K and 10Q today, it looks like they could be in trouble. According to the 10Q, they're discussing a possible bankruptcy scenario...and of course they plan to cut costs as well.

10Q: http://xml.10kwizard.com/filing_raw.php?repo=tenk&ipage=3769560
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but these PR's seem to reignite the possibilities.
Perhaps GZFX could acquire their Online Rental business? Is this a potential parternship/acquisition that JF and CG have hinted at?
OT: Stock Noob,
No guarantees on the validity of this info, but this is how I understand it.
It can vary from company to company. It can be a simple cash amount in exchange for your shares, a trade of the buying company's shares for your old shares, or a combination of both. There is no set rule to follow.
When buyouts are done, the shareholder of the old company USUALLY gets a modest return on the then-current value of the stock. So, a theoretical cash buyout of GZFX would probably get us no more than 1 or 1.5 cents per share. So if this case were a share trade, we'd probably only get 1 share of CC for 2000 shares of GZFX...a modest gain over what GZFX is currently worth.
In the end, it's all about the Market Cap of each company, and how much the buying company THINKS the target company is worth to them.
I hope that helps.

On the CC page with the more in-depth GZFX info, isn't that our wrong address at the bottom? I thought we moved HQ from Blackjack road to 130 W. Kentucky St?
Wow! Speechless. :|
Quoting a part of message # 29650, the site should have GZFX advertising on it "by tomorrow."
Picked up a few more at 0.0078. Hope to see mid to high 8's by EOD.
Perhaps we'll finally break through the 200-Day SMA by tomorrow?
ANW226: I've been in for over a year. My initial buy-in was somewhere between .14 and .18, I think. Averaging down helped me stay sane.
Dear ARCA, GET OFF THE ASK! plzthx EOM.
