So where is chicken little this morning?
Re tweeted it as well !
Excellent pick up. Glad you are here. You have a nose for details. Thanks for the share.
In my consideration of what happened today and in my trying to rationalize losing thousands in less than one hour, I am drawn again to an Apple comparison (my apologies).
Apple totally blew away all market expectations at their Q1 earnings conference and reported very optimistic expectations going forward. Did their stock go up? No. It dropped by over 2.5%.
Conclusion: strange happenings occur with the equity markets. You can try to outguess the pundits, follow the pundits, or ignore the pundits. Sh*t is gonna happen and it defies explanation.
I repeat what I have said in the past: thus is a speculative play. Invest what you can afford to lose and not a penny more. If you don't like the company, the CEO, the strategy, let your money work somewhere else.
Please do not incessantly whine here. Shut up or leave!
If only he would; then he would be gone.
He is just the bluebird of happiness trying to poop on our parade. He is just blah blah blah in the background to me.
Agree 110%
67,000 shares traded in 20 minutes? Is this real???
The comments that follow the lead article are sickening, insensitive and offensive.
All of the other advances are going to be software related,” he explained. “They (THE ADVANCES) will focus on automation and navigation.....
The bloodhound does it AGAIN !
Thanks IITF !
You make it seem that we are the only company that she consults for. Her company cannot be run on a piddling $20,000 per month. The website is not her responsibility. That responsibility falls on inhouse management.
Hence the importance of the June 9 meeting. I think we fly or die (dilution) based on that meeting.
Thanks !!
That makes sense to me...
Is that really that important at this time? Doubt a partnership with an instrument manufacturer will drive PPS much. I am content knowing that one exists…
I can't imagine that they have only one prototype. I suspect that there are several in various stages of build. They have likely been testing each part and as each part gets locked in, they make multiple copies of it.
I wonder whether or not some of the SAB members (especially Adrian Park) have a quasi-working copy to play with in their labs.
I would have to agree. We have found new support again at $1.40. She's get wound up tighter and tighter for a move in the near future, IMHO.
I agree with all of the recent posts. The biggest issue facing surgeons, over their career, is the physical fatigue of performing surgery. Slouched shoulders, standing on concrete floors for hours at a time, and long cases without food or bathroom breaks all take their physical toll on us all.
Laparoscopic surgery, with straight stick instrumentation, adds a significant amount of physical strain on us all. The physical limitations of instrument reach and flexibility necessitate extreme physical gyrations to accomplish what we need to accomplish and can accomplish during open surgery more easily.
The desire to be bedside during a case is significantly overstated on this board. To be able to sit in a comfortable chair, with back supported and elbows rested and still be able to do things as if we were bedside with the patient open brings significant improvement in outcomes, not only for the patient, but for the surgeons as well.
I am excited!
The truth is out there....
Gotta love when a block of 33 shares sold can drop the price from 1.40 to 1.36.
While I would agree with you that folks here at times are over-the-top, to expect "professionalism" from a bunch of anonymous folks is unrealistic. You have to accept some of the blame for your continuous promoting of TRXC on the TITXF board.
Don't see them as a supplier for a company like Titan. Subservience is not their modus operandi.
Agree that it's likely not J&J. I brought the concept of Microline to this board.
I was not commenting on staplers in a Covidien v Ethicon discussion. BOTH have cheap, flimsy reusable graspers/scissors/dissectors
Intuitive figured that issue out
Ligasure is from Covidien/Valley Lab
And remember that Ethicon's disposables are NOT of any significant quality....
I may be mistaken, as my health system is under contract with Covidien, but I don't think that Ethicon manufactures reusable instruments, just disposables.
Read my parable from earlier today. They are the young unknown artist
A man is walking through an art gallery and is admiring the investment opportunity that the works of known artists offer.
A young man, currently an unknown artist, asks the man if he wants to purchase a painting that the artist has yet to paint.
The man asks how much the painting will cost. He is surprised to hear the artist quote a price similar to the works of the established artists on display.
The young artist spends a long time trying to explain the future value of the yet unpainted piece.
The man tells the artist, "I don't want to hear about your opinion of your own work. Come back when you have something tangible to show me.
There are many on this board that will need this parable explained to them.
And number FIVE at that
Talk about a poison something !
And there is the proverbial Catch-22
"I think after November and the delay, I think it will take an up listing to a bigger market to get it really moving."
No uplisting with increase in PPS.
No increase in PPS without uplisting.
Another tree falls in the woods...
Despite the naysayers, management has been much more transparent lately. We are getting announcements, PRs and reports every 3-4 weeks. I agree that the poison pill announcement will serve to support PPS. I think engine ignition has been established....the countdown is about to commence.
In the setting of a takeover bid, wouldn't sales of shares to shareholders at a discounted price result in dilution?
I agree completely. We have had an announcement every 3–4 weeks and they are all positive. I think the company is moving in the right direction. One must be long, strong, and patient.
Although I see a great bargain in buying more now, like many investors I am uncomfortable buying without knowing what the bottom will be.
I am much more comfortable buying, at say 1.50, on the way up than at 1.25 when it may go down further.
I guess my issue is that I am getting tired of all the whining that is going on on this board. There are some pumpers still here trying to drive the price down. What they don't realize is that those of us that are here are not easily swayed by their vitriolic nonsense. It is annoying, to say the least!
I understand you perspective. I invest in Apple, Disney, 3M etc to grow money. My investment here was a Hail Mary. If I hit a homerun fine. If I lose everything, it will hurt, but I will bounce back from it. My investments and other companies give me an opportunity to make money, but I would never consider myself an owner. I would not expect Tim Cook or Bob Iger nor I would John Hargrove to do it. It surprises me that folks on this board expect to be treated differently than that.
Did Titan violate their fiduciary jresponsibility or did they just fall behind on their timeline to develop a winner? Will we ever know the truth? Does it matter to them?
I remain long and strong…
Yes we do own the company, but recognize that even if you own 1 million shares, which I doubt, you only less than 1% of the available shares. And this does not translate into a 1% ownership of the company. I understand your disappointment, I am in the same boat. It's just that we are small fries in the big picture. Not much that we can do.
Although we all have varying degrees of investment in this company, many of us have large investments and I hope that this will be an opportunity to make a life changing profits.
Unfortunately, management has no obligation to explain anything to us. We all entered this investment voluntarily and can leave voluntarily at any time.
The decision everyone has to make is whether or not they are happy waiting for this to pop or whether their money can serve them better elsewhere.
10 year treasuries are yielding 2+%, maybe some of our crankier folks should look into less risky vehicles.
