Tym most people completely misinterpreted the WE news - and ERHC is in the habit of being way too thrifty when it comes to releasing info on the newswires which doesn't help - hence the hammering that occurred this morning. ERHC was NOT involved in block 1 and HAS gotten very large portions of most other blocks so it's all good, VERY good. Again, this isn't a stock for the quick flip but I have every reason to believe that those who hold long will be handsomely rewarded. I have no scraps left or I would buy evrything I possibly can at these levels.
I was a strong shake down to .59 , but it looks like the PPS is climbing back up again. .69 right now...
Great post BC. Pretty darn close to my style (love your sig!)
One exception (for me): ERHC. This one i don't mind letting yo-yo up and down, it's got such huge potential I don't mind keeping it for a few years (aside from some prudent, small CYA sale of a small portion of my holdings to protect my intial investment when it shoots way up of course.)
EZ is an honest, rock solid guy, I think you'll love this board.
Looking fwd to your list, and since EZ seems to be gone for the Weekend, welcome!
Thanks a bunch Tym and FF for your good wishes. She is an incredible trooper and we are all optimistic (at as much as one can be until the surgeon finds out...)
Tym not to rub it in but don't you trade online? Even if I didn't and my broker dared tell me I can't use his staff to trade for even an HOUR he'd be fired in about half a minute! Just me though... Anyhow I use Scottrade for now it's not perfect by a long shot but at least I can trade whenever I wish to.
Hope you saw my post yesterday, I now believe that even at a couple bucks ERHC is a no-brainer. I sure hope you can get in friend!
Bahahahaha Tym you outta see some of my other stocks LOLOLOL
OK, back to ERHC, yup, just a hair behind what I expected timing-wise (sorry can't remember which board, was away, gettting senile, etc etc. anyhooo, search my posts) but definitely on the take-off ramp now. I hesitate to say this about ANy stock but I honestly believe this one won't be had for under a buck for much longer (perhaps a week, perhaps a day, perhaps a few dang minutes tomorrow morning!) Congrats to those of you who got in last week when I was trying to bring this one to ya!
Man, I've had a few rough days (work sucked, etc but mostly learning that one of my most beloved relatives will be getting emergency cancer surgery tomorrow) so this is one development that helps a bit.
UPDATE: For those who care and aren't just looking a the quick and easy flip and may be interested in such mundane things as, shall we say, retirement, I just spent an hour going over the numbers vis a vis today's announcement... I now believe even $2 is an absolute steal on this stock. I knew the potential was big, I now realize it's just, well (oil well that is, pun intended) gigantic.
I'll second Cobe. Yup, do a search or browse boards.
Sure, but can you re-read my post and elaborate/be more specific? Not sure I understand your question...
I have the exact same question. This really puzzles me. FF, Stock, anyone can shed light on this?
Thanks.
CDVJ what do you think about those CSJJ shares being restricted for a full year FF? Never been in this position before...
Not a chance IMHO, I see it open in the 90s IF there's nothing on the wires.
Will have to leave an be out of town Monday AM for a couple days, will miss all the fun!
ERHC, last call under a buck IMHO (low 80s)

U.S. company takes up Nigeria/Sao Tome oil rights
Reuters, 04.16.04, 1:28 PM ET
LAGOS, April 16 (Reuters) - A little-known U.S.-based company has exercised rights in six oil exploration blocks on offer by Nigeria and Sao Tome, according to a filing with U.S. authorities, opening the way for the final winners of the landmark licensing round to be announced soon.
The two countries began the licensing process for nine offshore blocks in the Gulf of Guinea last October, marking Sao Tome and Principe's first steps into the world of big oil.
The decision by Environmental Remediation Holdings Co. (ERHC) to exercise its option follows a similar step by ExxonMobil (nyse: XOM - news - people) in February, and could presage a final announcement of winners as soon as next week, authorities said.
ERHC, a Texas-based Nigerian-owned company also known as Chrome, claimed its biggest option of 30 percent in block two, which was the second most sought-after block in last October's bidding round, the filing with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission dated April 13 showed. The filing also showed ERHC exercising a 25 percent interest in block four, 20 percent in blocks three and nine, and 15 percent in blocks five and six. ExxonMobil had in February exercised a 40 percent interest in block one, which was the most sought-after block in last year's bidding. The two companies had preferential rights because they had already invested in exploration work under a deal brokered with Sao Tome before the disputed area became a zone managed jointly by the two countries.
When Nigeria and Sao Tome agreed to develop the area together in 2000, the companies renegotiated their deals with the joint authority and gained the rights.
The Gulf of Guinea has seen a swathe of huge oil discoveries in deep ocean depths over the past decade, and the United States sees the area as a strategic supplement to its oil supplies from the war-torn Middle East.
HIGHEST BID
In October's bidding round, the highest bid was $123 million offered by ChevronTexaco (nyse: CVX - news - people) for block one, so it is likely to develop that block jointly with Exxon. The second highest bid was for block two, where Nigerian dredging company Foby Engineering bid $113 million. Foby was also top bidder for block nine. Sahara Energy was the top bidder for blocks three and five, ECL International lead the pack for block four, Maurel et Prom was top bidder for block six, and Fusion was sole bidder for block seven. Block eight attracted no interest.
Sam Dimka, spokesman for the joint development zone, said it was still not possible to say for certain who had won what Signature bonuses are only one aspect of the offer. Results of the technical bids and due diligence on the participants has not been announced yet, and that is all relevant to the final selection," he said. A company would have to show it is financially and technically capable of carrying out the work to win the contract, he added.
The two countries will now hold a joint ministerial council, possibly as soon as next Thursday, to announce the final winners, Dimka said.

Agreed. Those who really paid attention have noticed that ERHC has really doubled BEFORE any substantial news is out. Mostly longs and savvy people from RB and IHUB still have a clue about what is really happening, which means that 99% of the investing population is still in the dark here.
What I think will happen is that over the weekend the word will spread more people will DD it and there will be a big pop Monday AM. As soon as the Conference is over - and even if nothing is officially on the wires - there should be another strong pop. When ERHC officially releases the news there will be an explosion in volume and the PPS will shoot way up. I'd be very surprised if it's not at $2 by late April, possibly much higher (Offor's brilliant business moves have made DD-experts revise their estimate of the real current PPS value at $5-7...)
Long and short of it is, the next couple hours may be the very last time anyone can get this stock under a buck.
Friend, looking at the big picture I'm as sure as I've ever been about anything stock-related that you can relax those fingers and use them to drum your favorite tune, scratch yourself, pick your nose, give the you-know-what sign to the MMs, draw a great big $ sign in the sand, whatever...
Just picked up a few more shares, now let's sit back and enjoy the ride.
chcr, re ERHC Barry Morgan does not appear to be the best/freshest source of info, not by a long shot.
Some much better DD and info IMHO at:
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=BB:ERHC
especially posts by Red, BB, SK and a few others. One of those rare RB boards where bashers and pumpers don't rule <g>
You're most welcome FF and co. Hey let's trade now, what's your ERHC guys? Quick flips, longs, I don't care, what do you say each peep posts their top two, wouldn't that be fun?
Here's my second one that I believe will have 5-bagged or more by year end: TRBY
Yes, posted that heads up this morning early, but then I had to leave... I see ERHC did well thanks. Hey, it makes up a little for some of my really poor calls these past 3 months LOL. It's a great feeling.
Will try to add tomorrow (unless it gets past a buck first)
ERHC printing .85
I get email scams too but... I don't see how that could relate. What an odd reply...
Anyway, always do your own DD, but feel free to look back at my post and at the PPS next Friday. It's at .75 now...
ERHC the big news isn't out yet and most people haven't even seen the recent filing. I can't remember if/when I first posted about this one here but anyway even at under a buck it's way, WAY undervalued. I rarely make such predictions but I see it well over a dollar by the end of next week, possibly much more. When I first bought it way back when, I already thought ERHC had no business being OTCBB, it's getting obvious now as we are talking about VERY smart management that never hypes things and has been negotiating deals at the BILLION-dollar level over the past year or so. Do the math and you'll see the pps should be a multiple of what it is...
Here is an excellent post from a respected guy
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=ERHC&read=26124
Adding today, scraping everything I've got. This is way beyond charts and such and it's as big an opportunity as I've ever seen. ERHC at under a buck is just a ridiculous bargain. I just wanted to share and I hope you folks take advantage of it.

XYNY Form 10KSB "No monies have been spent toward office rent, or salaries, greatly minimizing selling, general and administrative expenses." "cash equivalents were minimal $553 at December 31, 2003"
Then WHERE did the tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars Zepeda raised from a stock that was artificially pumped and crashed go?!
Oh yeah, in the pocket of that crook and her few accolytes...
Unreal.
FF I admire you for posting this given the way she screwed you and other major stockholders.
DON'T give up! ERHC going much much higher! FWIW I added some and chased it to .64 (I NEVER do that but as I said this one is just another ballgame LOL)
Just went back down to mid seventies, plenty of $$ to be made here Tym.
Thanks bro did you get in?
Anyone else on this board?
Wait, ERHC just printed .80, HOLY MACARONI! (Dang this makes me think of Rig LOLOLOL Rig, got some ERHC?)
ERHC, printing .70
WOOOOOHOOOOOOO
ERHC, strong volume, printing .66, new high in years.
ERHC thye must have changed their mind, 8K is out, news hasn't hit wires yet but what they got out of the deal is HUGE. PPS "worth" at least 10 times what it's now.
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/040414/erhc.ob8-k.html
The freight train will soon turn into a scramjet, watch...
ERHC even .59 is a terrifc bargain. I could be wrong but I don't see how USGA could even begin to compare since at the end of the day we are looking at a co worth millions versus billions! On the other hand, one could always flip a subpenny and double his money in a day...
Hey guys, what do you think has the potential of being the next QBID out there? Man I was distracted by all sorts of things for a while and I completely missed out on that one. Darn!
Ooops sorry Tym I believe it's 04/19-20
I usually don't recommend RB but there are a few wonderful posters (Redinvest) there. here it goes
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=BB:ERHC
GMDP I own it, around .02 is a GREAT entry point IMHO. I'd definitely add on there if I could (maxxed out right now LOL)
Hope this helps Jeff
ERHC it looks like they might have elected to wait until after the JDZ Conference to make the big announcement about their potentially huge share of the rights/oil off the west African coast. As a result you can still get in around the high .50s, low .60s, a great bargain IMHO. I believe it's reasonable to see the PPS well past a buck after the announcement. Some of the best-informed shareholders predict $3-$5 by end of year...
Hope you take advantage of this folks. I'm usually not sure of much in this market, but this one is different, so feel free to bookmark this message, and get back to me in a few months LOL
Novice, XYNY I only see one PR and it's just empty words as usual ("the" global multi-billion dollar market. WHAT MARKET??!! Let me think... ah, yes, the seemingly bottomless one that allows for the Zepedas of the world to be enriched and entertained at the expense of hard-working small investors) but it makes no difference. Let's not get fooled, the only plausible reason why the b$tch puts it out is that she needs fresh cash to party around B'Hills. NONE of the PRs she has put out over the past 6 months were actually connected to any kind of tangible business move. She is as big a fraud as it gets, and many of us have simply been had.
All the same to me, I'm just waiting to get back to even and get out of one of the biggest scams out there. I just abhorr the thought of leaving one penny in that crook's pocket (I bet a PI would quickly uncover some mighty interesting stuff about Raquel Zepeda the "CEO") so I will wait. Often patience is our best friend!
CDVJ well THIS was a stupid, VERY stupid move IMHO. At this stage of the company's development, sharehoders' confidence in the CEO and his team is CRITICAL, and Cortellazzi just doesn't seem to understand that.
Let's hope you're right and ride her back up but from what I've seen I'm not very optimistic.
The man works hard TYM, he often does 24 hour shifts (man, can you imagine, and as a firefighter at that?! Talk about stamina.)
CDVJ yup, not good at all. What do you guys think, poor managerial skills at work here or just another scam?
I was willing to stay long on this one but now...
CMKX my thoughts exactly Dallas. Plus, if the CEO is REALLY building a strong, serious company and the current activity eventually turns out as profitable as they want us to believe , he will have ample opportunity to BUY BACK gazillions of quadrillions of shares, am I right? Then, and only then should we consider this kind of stock as a long hold. Am I leaving anything out?
[OT] Irak, a new Vietnam?
