Ok, Seig, I'll try and squeeze them is somewhere! Let's see, what can we throw overboard, lifeboats?, No, life jackets?, No, Grog? Hell No!
How about we stack them in the rope locker or on the poop deck?
Glad to see you back keeping us on course!
GLTA,
CGFIA!
Good luck with the .0002 or .0001's. I hope you can get them. I tried for weeks, but the best I could get was .0003. That still isn't a bad price for CGFIA!
I say an extra ration of Grog for everyone! That will help sort out the men from the boys!
Good to have you back, AK! I'll bet you have a few stories for around the wood stove!
BRIGANTINES, RKYMNT4? Did we run out of CGFIA dinghies?
Oh, Rebel, about that Pina Colada, the rum we have. The coconut milk you will have to get yourself! (just watch out for those coconuts, they don't take too kindly to being milked!)
Keep smiling guys! Why world will wonder what you are up to!
CGFIA.
If you are a believer, now is the time to buy. The price is a real bargain.
You are a smart shopper, P!
Good Luck to us all!
CGFIA
So true, PizzOff. This is like betting on your favorite sports team. You have to believe in them or why would you place a bet on them?
The keys here are: 1) not to get emotionally attached to the stock. 2) don't use money you can't afford to risk. 3) be willing to wait, if necessary, till all the variables are balancing the equation.
JMHO, of course.
CGFIA!
I'm with you Mr Y, I added a few extra CGFIA shares also, averaging down. In the overall picture, the extra $ will either be the best buy I ever made, or just an additional drop in the bucket.
I am willing to wait, but I am hoping it won't be terribly long.
I have no doubt that he was. I'm just reassuring myself that he didn't abscond with CGFIA money. (do we have any cash that isn't tied up in one form or another?)
Maybe that beach we talked about is on the "scenic shores" of the lower tailings pond?
>>Oh Cabana girl, I'll have another frozen umbrella drink!<<<
Now that's a better vision to hold in my head! (getting tired of drinking Grog!)
CGFIA
If he is sitting on a beach somewhere, I don't think he is doing it with CGFIA money, or he is shipwrecked on some godforsaken part of the world. He hasn't sold very many of his shares, only a very small percentage. He is still the largest shareholder by far.
Frustrating? yes. Thief? I don't believe so.
JMVHO.
Good luck!
You have to give him a break, StewUSMC. Maybe he was born yesterday? No wait, he was born today and only about 5 minutes before he posted!
And, where does he choose to make his first post? CGFIA!
Don't we feel special!
He must have been really anxious to have that question answered.
I think you made his day, Stew!
Anyone mind if a jump on board this train? It's ok if it's "standing room only", as long as we are going in the right direction!
I couldn't resist what I saw here!
Good Luck To All!
And show me where CGFIA has missed ANY payments.
Again your statements are not based in fact.
IMO, you are negatively distorting the situation.
Sergey, you are abosuletly correct. You own the equity in the asset, and that is something of value.
9lt89x seems to be implying that all CGFIA's options, leases, and mortgaged property have no value.
I may have oversimplified the explanation, but he seems to have trouble understanding the concept. He asks this question over and over again, but ignores the answer, as if the concept is going to change. Maybe you can explain it better so he understands it.
IMO, he is just trying to muddy the water with dubious questions.
I seriously question his intentions.
Thanks, Sergey, and have a great day!
You keep asking the same question every few days. Do you think the answer is going to change? Or are you just trying to put up a smoke screen to make readers think the company has nothing of worth.
People lease cars, or finance them. The car is still an asset, even if it is leased. Same for their homes. The bank holds mortgages on homes, but people still own them.
What is it that you don't understand about this concept?
A great percentage of companies' and corporations' assets are leveraged in one form or another. If you think that makes them worthless, you are mistaken by even the most basic accounting principals.
Your point is moot.
Good luck to you, it seems you will need it, particularly if you believe leveraged or optioned assets have no value.
As CSN&Y said in "Woodstock"....
"We are stardust, we are golden,
We are billion year old carbon,
And we got to get ourselves back to the garden."
Maybe we can take those lines as a guide for the next few weeks....
Just saying, everything is a cycle, PCFG will come back IN THE 8's+ real soon!
Who do we vote off the island first?
Not bad for a young snowboarding whippersnapper, is it? I think he has the winning attitude. JMVHO!
You are correct, Sergey. Stocks are like tides on the ocean, they go up and down, and that is the one certain thing.
I have an order in just in case it does dip lower. (It's like an insurance policy.)
If it doesn't dip lower, I'll be happy with what I have, but I'll take the easy money too.
CGFIA
And if memory serves me correctly, ShySurfer knows the Silverton area. He snowboards there. He posted some pictures of the area's streams and slopes a week or two ago. Just like ficoce did, he shared the info he had. It's good to see it for yourself, but for those if us who can't, pictures and firsthand reports are very helpful.
I do remember your post Hink. I think the vast majority would agree with your post and ShySurfer!
Yeoman, another round of grog!
CGFIA
We may be twins by different mothers!
I am laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes! I like your humor, RKY!
Sergey would probably have a good borscht recipe too!
I think I see a cook-off in our future!
"Throw-down at the CGFIA kitchen"
We could show these guys what good food is!
See post # 26615. The man is quite eloquent, and expresses some ideas I totally agree with. JMHO
We need a sub-board for recipe swapping! This board is great for financial and investing recipes, why not a few "dishes of the day"?
I'll bet it would be an interesting place.
Oh, by the way, I belong to the "over 40" club too. That's waist line measurement, not age!
God help me if I get rich, I'll be into the 50's!
Just reserve a stool at the end of the counter for me, preferably with my name on it. Think "Cliff Claven" from cheers, but with cherry vanilla instead of Budweiser!
Oh, we will need WiFi so we can check on our investments.
Can I suggest a name for it? Something like "The Golden Spoon"?
Actually a truck is considered "self propelled", as compared to a trailer, or railcar. Don't confuse it with the term "self guided" such as a robotic system.
You need to remember these rules use archaic terms by today's standards. The rules were written early in the last century, when trucks were being used alongside steam engines, donkeys and mules.
I'll be your first customer!
You are making me drool! I think my sugar level just jumped 25 points reading that post!
You can have your own ice-cream parlor if CGFIA hits .50!
You are right Sergey! Some of them did buy in at much higher prices. So have some of our guys here. The thing about the "other guys" is they lost faith and sold at a loss. If they were smart, they would buy while the price is down here and then they could recoup their losses. Instead they choose to sit in a corner and curse others and cry.
Life is what you make it. I hope and believe I can make it better with my CGFIA stock.
JMHO
As much as I joke about the Grog, believe it or not I hardly ever drink. I'm not against it, I just don't do it very often. I'm a real cheap date, and I make the perfect "designated driver". (but I'm not easy!)
Now, if you want to celebrate, let's talk food! That's my weakness! I should be the cook of the CGFIA Flotilla!
Hang in there guys! I like what "shy surfer" posted before. He has the right approach to our present situation.
Good luck, it's Grog time!
Modrica, There are some people who just get their "kicks" by ridiculing anyone that believes in something they don't. We see this type of behavior on the news every day. The name calling is part of their ritual, and also is evidence of their intelligence level. Try to have a civil conversation and discuss the facts with them and inevitably the conversation degenerates into name calling from their side. It is a tactic used when they can't support their position with relevant facts.
I guarantee that when CGFIA reaches the potential we see it can, they will continue to claim it is all a scam and that we investors are being duped. They will also be resentful of any profits me make.
My suggestion is to ignore their barbs. Avoid them and their 'advice'. Ask yourself one simple question. What does it matter to them what we choose to invest our money in? It is our money, our risk, and none of their business what we choose to do.
Have you heard the saying "Misery loves company"? Their intention is to shake your confidence and convince you to join their misery as disgruntled investors. (if they ever did invest in CGFIA)
That is my "advice" and JMHO.
Thanks, Rake. I'll add it tonight.
Thanks for the info. We are almost at 1.3 billion!
Good luck investing!
CGFIA
Temptation, it is tough to overcome, isn't it, jdjied? I happy to add the new shares to the total!
Good luck!
Thanks, Sem1! I will add those to the books!
I'll check the numbers and make sure I have the correct amount.
Thanks for the update!
Good luck, and good fortune to us all!
FLOTILLA COUNT UPDATE!
The latest reports have raised the total share count to 1,290,986,403!
No, that's not a typo, that is 9 million shy of 1.3 billion shares.
125 members are reporting those numbers. We have a few new names on the list, but a majority of the increase came from CGFIA iHub members already on the list.
GOOD LUCK to all you investors out there. Let's all make plans to meet in the line outside the bank to cash our checks together.
Best regards, MTP!
Thanks, unexpected, I'll sign you on the "Flotilla's" ship list!
Good Luck to you and all the CGFIA investors.
MTP
Oh, crap! I just sold all my shares! I don't know why I did it! All of a sudden all I could see was red, and a voice kept telling me to sell!
Is that the way subliminal suggestions are supposed to work, Robo?
Sorry to disappoint you Robo, I have become attached to my PCFG stock. I am thinking of having the certificate tattooed on my chest, upside down, of course, so I can read it as I lay on my beachfront property in Maui!
Have a good long weekend everyone!
GreenSkies, I'll add your holdings to the Flotilla! It will be good to have you flying cover over the armada! And, remember, as they say, it's not the size, it's what you do with it that counts!
Good Luck,
CGFIA
Thanks, rorose32! The Flotilla is getting bigger all the time. Thanks for giving me the numbers! Good Luck!
CFGIA!
