mh - have you wised up enough to buy back in yet? Also, if judo wrote that he will probably have a different opinion in the not too distant future. IMO of course.

Treo 15 on MP3 - from Wolfy on Agora.

This is taking on a decidedly "dog eat dog" flavor.
"Yes, but. The art of logical assumption got most of us to the point we are now. Didn't it? Woof. LOL"
BD - yep. Holding a lot of shares which will, in my opinion, be worth a great deal of money by mid 2005 at the latest. Thanks for reminding me.
LL
To the extent that nothing happens until it happens, I agree with Sent and UCANSEE - to the extent I rely upon my own DD, I agree with myself.
LL
It is my understanding that, though there have been no official statements from the company, Gilga's scenario is the more accurate one. It is safe to say that negotiations of the nature he decribes are well under way - I cannot say for certain that they have moved to the production stage but would not be surprised. I further think we will hear something regarding this within the next few weeks.
All just my best information at present.
LL
marc - I believe you should pay careful attention to response number 1 and response number 3. Let's revisit this conversation about January 15.
LL
sorry about the double post - i'm on a dial up this week - yuk

DABOSS , well put - echoes my sentiments. Best wishes.//
pack - go take a nap. LOL
DABOSS - I was going with the broken typing finger theory. LOL
Well, maybe he sold. Who knows? Or maybe he got tired of being one of the fewer and fewer sane posters on RB. Or maybe his audience became only TorF and her ilk and he felt as if he weren't doing any good. Or maybe he thought that if people saw acurate info the buying would stay strong and the pps would stay up in the .30-.40 range. Or maybe he found out about some amazingly close EDIG initiatives that are going to blow the roof off and so he doesn't feel it is going to matter if he posts in the short term. Or maybe he broke his typing finger.
Or maybe he is just waiting and watching. Like the rest of us.
BD - it was a tongue in cheek comment - not an attempt to spin anything. I am not a spin doctor.
As for upside, I believe there is considerable or else I would have cashed out and put my money elsewhere. JMO.
Best wishes,
LL
Well, the upside is - who the hell reads the San Diego Herald, or Tribune, or whatever?
LL
Philo - LOL - I am also sorry to hear that he is me ("and we are all together"). I am making an appointment with my psychiatrist immediately.
LLOkie
Pack - go take a nap.
BD - Collier was never a part of the equation re guessing target price. Technology, OEMs and partners. I liked what Collier was saying, but so did everyone. I still think a lot of what he said will come to pass, only not quite in the way he envisioned it.
I still like $12-$13 a share by mid-2005. If we get lucky, maybe more. AS ALWAYS, JM (not very)HO. LOL
Gilga - I thought you were president! //
UCANSEE - I am cracking up.
Thanks for the info, I will immediately inform EDIGOkie - I STILL don't understand this multiple alias thing, but I consider it an honor of the highest level to have been "filtered" by Whatever.
LL
But Whatever - I have a suggestion about what you can do with your suggestion. Why don't you just call Fred or Robert and tell them how you can help them save us the clutter of your precious posing? Just a suggestion.
LL
BD - LOL - no , that was not the area of expertise to which I was referring.
LL
But Whatever - you are good. Very good.
LL
timf - agreed - he clearly put the cart before the horse. If it had all come together he would have been king. Doesn't usually work that way however.
LL
timf - I agree with your assessment of APL and that it was part of the collier problem. I have had enough of tara - as far as I am concerned he proves the million monkeys/million typewriter theory.
Best wishes,
LL
LOL - scarabus - your post is absurd. Thanks for the laugh.
LL
MIR - funny post. Nerves of steel. Or it could be that those who still hold believe the future is finally here. Certainly the raft of news releases about content would lead one to so believe. Given that the pps did not take much of a hit it appears people outside EDIg's core circle may be becoming believers as well.
LL
excellent - now jtara has made his way onto IHub. Yesterday Zack's abra ca jabra BS and today jtara. Nice.
CDR - I agree in part. Though MANY will take issue with this I think the real Fred Falk is standing up and public opinion about him may well be different in 6 months. JM (not so) HO.
LL
Gilga - I think your statement is a more jaundiced commentary than I would offer. I would say a number of bad events came together at the same time a number of rather solid near term future opportunities began to converge. Why not clean house and start anew with the potential for the best quarter in Edigs history and some solid business partners to boot?
As to pps:
1. It could be they are just looking at it as a friendly fire casualty in the interim.
2. It could be they have some plans to shore it up. Who knows?
Just my reading of the tea leaves.
The bashers would much rather focus on abra ca jabra, threats of legal action (tho no bashers have any standing that I can see) and today's, make that this minute's, pps.
LL
The abra ca jabra nonsense was a tempest in a teapot from the get-go. It was absurd on the face of it. The most interesting part was how the puppeteer zack (or tara, or whichever one it was) had everyone dancing around on the end of his string.
LL
Gilga, I would look for the next Q results to be unexpectly good. I think revenue was pushed into that quarter and all sorts of financial housekeeping took place. More than that I say not.
LL
After reading your post and tinroads, I echo your thoughts.
LL
Why not just send it all the the SEC and have done with it? It appears to me they have followed all proper reporting procedures and it is all there for us to see. Why should he spend extra time satisfying a demand created by our longest term basher? Why is everyone jumping immediately in line on this?
I agree with richard. Just send it to the SEC - if you never hear anything you will know the answer. Good grief.
a $100 reward? Too much. Where's he going to get it?
JimC's last paragraph sums it up quite nicely. I am laughing my ass of that the people who spend the most time complaining about all the money they have "lost" on EDIG are the ones most interested in spending more so their accountants can look at this non-issue. What a circus.
Was it zack or tara who started all this? He must be loving it now. LOL
LL
Emit - you can't say it any better. What a circus.
LL
