Gross Negligence on the part of HECO !
HECO is NOT a government entity, that's why it's listed on ihub. The government Regulates HECO, but the day-to-day operations are the responsibility of HECO.
HECO is also responsible for vegetation management and the maintenance of the poles and wires. The suit is not baseless ,Therefore, HECO is responsible for the Fires.
I like distinctive. Recently I have owned the Fisker Karma and the BMW i-8.
There are a few new models I am looking forward to, but not in the market just yet.
.
To each their own. This is why there's more than one car company and more than one model.
WTM - I think these are much more distinctive and better looking.
The Hyvia looks like every other Econovan on the road.

From SA :
The business model seems fragmented into so many segments that there is little way to control the results. From the 8K we see business segments including electrolyzer, liquefier, cryogenics, material handling, large scale stationary unit, a gigafactory....
The company is opening facilities in Louisiana and Texas, spending a fortune to expand internationally.
From the 10Q, the only section showing a positive gross margin is equipment sales...but power purchase agreements and fuel delivered are a disaster. And distressing the investor is that it is difficult to relate the business segments listed in the 8K to the gross margin analysis in the 10Q. Either management doesn't understand it, or more likely they don't want investors to understand it.
This company could easily manage its cash with a more focused business plan. It is negligence by the Board of Directors to allow this to continue, as the shareholders are likely to be diluted and suffer substantial losses.
And Henrik Responded:
@No Moderator
Yes, management is trying to hide as much financial information as possible even in its regulatory filings.
Please note also that the majority of equipment sales is derived from the material handling segment with customers requiring the company to also provide those money-losing maintenance, fueling and leasing agreements.
So just looking at the equipment margin would give you an entirely wrong impression of their core material handling business.
WTM - I never said or implied otherwise.
Certainly PLUG's presence and image has lessened at Formula 1. And we have seen other PLUG JV's , and partnerships disappear with no notice from the company.
It not unprecedented, since it has happened that a major deal folds and we never hear.
WTM - NOT a F-1 race car competing in the Italian Grand Prix.
I thought I was very clear.
BoB - The CFO of FFI has also recently QUIT as well after less than One Year.
https://www.australianmining.com.au/ffi-chief-financial-officer-exits/
Sad News : I went to the F-1 Italian Grand Prix yesterday, and the PLUG logo is not on the Renault / Alpine Cars any longer.
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
WTM - NO !
I said :
"Bad News like : IRA delay; Georgia delay; DOE Money delay and PLUG goes to the $5.00's"
I also said the long term trend is DOWN, and it will take a major positive catalyst like Andy leaving to reverse this trend.
On the other hand, a major negative catalyst could take PLUG to the $5.00's (see above)
But and not to put words in my mouth :
My projection is : Without positive headline or major news ("Marsh Quits!"), PLUG will continue to drift LOWER !
From another Board. Someone asked me about my exit strategy:
My exit is every week taking a wheelbarrow full of profits to the bank.
The long-term trend for PLUG is Down !
Without positive headline or major news ("Marsh Quits!"), PLUG will continue to drift LOWER !
Bad News like : IRA delay; Georgia delay; DOE Money delay and PLUG goes to the $5.00's
Bad News :
Morgan Stanley cuts PLUG Power price target from $15.00 to $10.00. Maintains at Equal-Weight.
Bad News :
The hurricane in Southern Georgia is responsible for a 6 month delay in the completion of the Georgia plant.
(Sarcasm, but you know this is coming)
I hope you can sense my sincerity in my post and apologies.
jammy - I am so sorry. Perhaps if you just called them shorties instead of your wizzazs jack of no trades, you might eliminate any confusion.
Did you know that there is more than one Jack on the Yahoo board.
The post below is from a different Jack if you were to have checked the id ' s more closely you could have figured that out on your own instead of my shoving it in your face....pdu mass.
Mac - If that compressor doesn't have a pressure vessel, you will get oscillating / pulsating.
Hydrogen refueling is at much higher pressures and oscillating would be catastrophic.
This is another reason refueling shuts down when something falls out of the parameters.
Mac - Not True. The fills are a combination of volume and pressure.
If there are 5 vehicles in line in front of you filling to 5-10,000 PSI, there is a substantial pressure drop, and the compressors need to bring the pressure vessels back up to parameters.
The tanks/vessels can be full of hydrogen, but if they aren't up to pressure, they will not dispense.
Think of a can of spray paint. You can shake that can as much as you want, but if there is no propellant left, you won't get any paint.
Precisely ! And they won't restart until they are within parameters , at least 45 minutes.
jammy - Folks here will attest that I post on good days and bad, and even praise PLUG when it is earned.
You haven't been here very long, and there hasn't been much to praise.
it takes many RED DAYS to take PLUG from $75 to $8.00.
Mac - Icing doesn't take long to remedy especially in the summer, but when the pressure in the supply tanks drops below the pressure in the vehicle tanks, the hydrogen stops flowing... Or worse flows from the vehicle the wrong way.
It's becoming an increasing issue.
WTM - Again. You need to learn more about hydrogen refueling.
After just 5 fills, the systems need to repressurize (45 minutes).
On weekends Californians can take more than an hour to refuel.
WTM - No one expects 100% penetration for BEV's.
And not everyone evacuates at the same time.
And I would urge you to learn of the trails FCEV owners endure to refuel.
Especially on weekends.
Subrunner - It's not the amount, it's the principal.
If it was deliberate, they are dishonest.
If it was unintentional, they are incompetent.
By the way, the innocent investors are paying these fines
LMD - Does this mean more lawsuits ?
When the SEC says you cooked the books ... you cooked the books.
Subrunner - Not Quite. This news is TERRIBLE.
"In a statement on Wednesday, the SEC said Plug Power could face another $5 million fine if it fails within one year to fully address a material weakness in its internal controls over financial reporting and ineffective disclosure controls."
I can't believe you say this is "Really good news". This news is terrible !
SEC fines Plug Power for reporting, accounting failures
Aug 30 (Reuters) - Plug Power , a provider of green hydrogen and hydrogen fuel cell systems, agreed to pay a $1.25 million civil fine to settle U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission charges over financial reporting, accounting and control failures that required a multi-year restatement.
In a statement on Wednesday, the SEC said Plug Power could face another $5 million fine if it fails within one year to fully address a material weakness in its internal controls over financial reporting and ineffective disclosure controls.
Good morning,
Here is an interesting read:

To all of our Florida friends:
Be safe! Good luck.
Our thoughts are with you.
To all of our Florida friends:
Be safe! Good luck.
Our thoughts are with you.
WTM - Thank for this information.
From $75 to $8.00; any awards and bonuses are well earned and well deserved.
(Sarcasm)
Pump and Dump.
Thank you, jammy.
This explains why my sector screen is mostly green.
But I am consoled with my VFS, today.
mik - See what I mean? 3 posts bashing a poster.
I prefer to focus on issues .
I suspect that our jammy is Jamezz on Yahoo.
Mik - There are several Jacks on Yahoo, and I am one of them. I have asked them to include my last name to limit the confusion to no avail.
I am not Benny, but he certainly follows some of my stocks, and we do correspond. I also share followers like Henrik, and we correspond as well.
I have been accused of being several posters, but I am just Jack or Jack Bolander depending on the platform.
And mik, it just seems like I am here all of the time, but if you look other posters here like WTM and B_B and jammy, they post much more often.
Glad you think I "seem" like I am "a really smart person". LOL
What is your Yahoo ID?
Banger - I love irony.
PLUG has never gotten away with such blatant lies.
jammy - "Many have posted more intelligent, interesting, posts then you. Stop embarrassing yourself".
jammy - It's "than", not "then". Stop embarrassing yourself.
From SA :
"Plug Power (PLUG) -5.90%. Plug was also among the top five decliners two weeks ago. The SA Quant Rating on PLUG is Sell with score of F for Profitability and A+ for Growth. The rating is in stark contrast to the average Wall Street Analysts' Rating of Buy, wherein 15 out of 29 analysts tag the stock as Strong Buy. YTD, the stock has fallen -24.28%, the most among this week's worst five decliners."
I thought the analyst party in Georgia would be a positive.
