It was dated Dec 2012, so not very old. Was part of a large PDF file. Will see if I can get hold of the link.
I was just looking for some info and came across this piece. It is about an investment made in APDN by Mcintire Investment Institute.
Towards the end of the second para, is a talk about APDN being considered by the US Treasury. What if this is true.
Applied DNA Sciences (ADPN) is a high-tech company that develops and provides anti-countering technology. By utilizing its unique DNA technology, APDN helps protect the legitimacy of a wide variety of products, ranging from wine and musical instruments to currency and military equipment. Its most successful product to date is CashfieldTM, a Cash-in-transit theft-deterrent system that has thousands of units in circulation. As a comparatively overlooked micro-cap stock, APDN has the potential to attract much greater investor recognition.
APDN’s growth will stem from increasing demand for authentication security, and as the provider and developer of the world’s strongest full-proof authentications, APDN is at a great position in the market. With counterfeiting increasing 10,000% over the past 20 years, governments and other organizations will need more efficient technology to protect the authenticity of their wares. The key for APDN’s superior product is the simple but powerful fact that DNA is virtually impossible to copy. According to our VAR, the Director of the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing and a US Secret Service agent have independently confirmed that the US Treasury is currently considering adding DNA technology to bank notes. This development can turn into a strong catalyst for APDN.
MII believes that the lack of data for APDN makes it extremely undervalued with a lot of growth. Given the increase in demand for anti-counterfeiting technology, its value will increase as the market becomes more aware of its unrecognized potential.
Yes true but a lot of concerns and legal issues on the possibility of Drones hitting American airspace.
But here is the link for the Pizza Delivery experiment by Dominos in the UK.
http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/04/technology/innovation/dominos-pizza-drone/
No issues as long as every part going into a Drone is DNA marked with an APDN DNA tag. How else can we get our $5 million a qtr.
LOL.
Talk about using Drones fork Pizza delivery. Has been tested in the UK.
Can't imagine the chaos in the air and goodbye Pizza Delivery jobs.
Just as you said. The moment we get close to .12, we get whacked down.
APDN CFO should get involved in our action against such manipulative trading.
Another old but relevant article which highlights the extended reach of APDN.

Just can't understand why these are not repeatedly publicized of why does this not get more media attention.
APDN's tie up with DISC.

Wow Vans. How the hell did you come up with this one? Is also dated 11/19/2013.
Is this a translated version? Just the kind of deal that we should be getting. Coming to think of it, it is quite likely that many well known brands would not want the world to know what kind of measures they have taken to prevent counterfeits. Could be a reason why APDN is not able to announce every major brand that they sign on.
Oh! I was just kidding. Am scared by the way anything gets this down but it takes god knows what to get it moving.
Anyways let bygones be bygones. Let's not bring up any unfavorable history.
Hope that it attains even half of its past peak, soon.
Hats of to you SP. And I thought that I had been in it for a long time!!!!
If it could go to 2.4 then, we should be in double figures now considering that it has a lot more to offer now.
If we could get these blood sucking MMs like CDEL of our neck, it would fare much better. Also feel that their Publicity Dept. Is not doing the best job of spreading the word.
Thanks A4life. Was about to post it.
Hope this helps.
CDEL is the one which has been messing around a lot in these past few weeks.
Yeh Van's. I was just going to ask the same question. Where does hit say that the earnings report will be on 11/19.
The general consensus was that it would be around 12/12.
Have locked up so much money in this that I am unable to tap other opportunities. Wouldn't have felt so bad if this thing had been on the way up.
The frustrating part is that while we wait endlessly for some fancy DLA story to unfold, other good bets are being overlooked. I am at my wits end.
So many other things happening besides the DLA but they seem to have no impact on the stock.
But + .12 is hardly a level to rave about. We should have been seeing a healthy upward trend heading into the qly results.
With the pps at these levels, even good results may end up getting us barely above .12. Not what I would want with this stock.
Just missed out on such a beautiful opportunity to double with another stock.
Feel like a fool pinning my hopes on this one.
I don't think PRs will help at all. We have had many good PRs over the last 2/3 months. Has not made any significant difference.
The only hope that I see for this stock is the qly results. If those are good we have some chance. If not, we will languish here.
We are where we are of lower. This stock moves the other way.
Makes us longs look like idiots honestly.
I am following another stock which is not even half as good in terms of potential but is doing so much better. Makes me wonder whether I am making a mistake by hanging on to this one.
Might as well take it all the way down. Tired of watching this miserable up and down movement everyday.
Just sick if this. No amount of PRs are helping with these *^%#+ around.
Yes. Nothing in our hands but can't figure out why MMs don't mess around with those other stocks.
Why APDN. Are they manipulating this one because they know something that we do not.
Agreed but I can show you a penny stock with far lower revenues trading at higher price.
Revenues are definitely on the increase for APDN and the pps should reflect that trend at the least.
Some ordinary stocks are doing much better in terms of volume.
The lack of good volume is a matter of concern. Wonder whether the common investor is loosing interest in this stock. Penny stocks with lower revenues and potential with about the same float are doing better, just on sentiment.
What is wrong with APDN.
Despite all my faith in the technology, I am getting frustrated by the way this trades.
God knows what is going to move this.
Yeh that's right.
Thanks Yip. I had the same kind of figure in mind but I just hope that we somehow touch a million.
Would be great.
Hi Yip,
APDN has signed a number of partnerships in the past few months, like Nissha, Markem Image, RedWeb, SmartCloak and also made great progress on the DLA front in terms of new additions of major contractors.
If these above deals really mean something, we should see a significant rise in revenue over the last quarter. Any guesses on what the figure could be.
Would be nice if the new CFO can give us a progress update on each of these tie ups.
You are right Yip and you have your answer Buddy. Welcome to this board.
If that is the case, why is there no reference to APDN on their web page.
Does it mean that though RedWeb may sell it under their brand, revenues will accrue to APDN?
Have always wondered how these acquisitions have helped APDN.
Whether it is Nissha or Markem Imaje or RedWeb or SmoakCloak, how have these partnerships helped APDN increase their revenues. If these were truly revenue generating by now we should have seen a significant jump in revenues. I hope that their next qly results demonstrate this.
Oh. Wonder what's the deal here.
Thanks SP.
Are we working together with Red Web or is Red Web promoting their own brand of tagging products? Did we not buy all this as a part of the asset purchase deal.
I thought APDN had acquired them right. What about that.
No reference to APDN on their page??
Ya Vans. These signals just keep coming.
What will it take to move this dam stock. Vol has been pretty low over the last few weeks.
Hey Mike,
You get me worried friend. Leave APDN worries for the experts on this board (we have plenty of them ) and ensure that you are in the best of health.
Take care and enjoy the week end ahead.
After a good start and a steady play around .13, I don't why they had to screw it up.
CDEL is one MM which had been trying to keep it low. The L2 in the first half looked good. Sad to end in the red after all this.
When will we ever get out of the clutches of these #*^€>%}s
Wasn't the deal with Brink's one of their first non government commercial contracts here in the US, dealing directly with security services?
I mean we have had plenty of tie-ups with companies involved with specific products but this one to me appears to be the next big thing after the DLA. They talked about cash-in-transit protection in the UK but this one is right here in the US.
This is one of their major successes on US soil. Any opinions?
Sorry I meant revenue of $230,000 only. Much less than APDNs
