I'll go out on a limb...
and say both guys will get 50 million votes each.
The Democrat voters will look at the recovery from the recession.
The republican voters have nothing to go by, as Romney hasn't stated any type of plan on what he will do.
That leaves another 20 million votes that will determine which party the majority of the country believes in.
I think this vote will come down to the philosophy of each party and not so much for the guy on the ballot.
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...
pay no attention to me, just thinking out loud.
Governor Christie on President Obama's handling of Hurricane Sandy...
Can't...
broke my arm patting myself on the back.
LOL. Thanks!
Thanks.
LOLOLOL!!!
Really disappointing jobs number...
if you're a republican.
1833 people died in Katrina...
There is no comparison. As bad as Sandy was, it was no Katrina.
I don't recall anyone in Louisiana thinking about running a marathon less than a week later.
They were still stranded on their roofs looking for a bottle of water a week later.
No...
I do not remember blaming Bush for mother nature. That sounds asinine.
I do remember blaming Bush for the lack of support in a situation that was clearly above the ability of local and state government.
I blamed the government's lack of response before the history books documented the government failure in response to Katrina.
You want to compare Katina to Sandy? Really?
Bloomberg says run the marathon.
Be sure to take a good look at the charts in that link...
not only do they show the upward progress that the economy has been doing in the short term, but look very closely at the long term charts.
Notice how the economy had gotten progressively worse from 2000 to late 2008.
Guess who gets the blame for that fall. Bush-republicans.
Guess who is getting credit for the recovery. President Obama-Democrats.

As far as Bush goes, he had a rotten economy when he took office
Wow Gleno, that's the first time I've ever heard anyone try to sell that.
Referring to December 2000:
Those dates were not, of course, chosen at random. The earlier date came at the end of a great economic boom, when the economy was running at full speed and arguably a little more. In those days, there were newspaper articles on how hard it was for companies to find workers. The unemployment rate was 3.9 percent.

From my point of view...
the average joe saw what happened during the 90's when the Democrats were in the White House.
Then they saw what happened when the republicans were in the White House.
Our country got attacked on our soil.
401k's became 201k's.
The rich bankers got caught with their hand in the cookie jar in 2007, then the average joe lost his job.
This is why President Obama is in the White House and with the wounds still fresh from the 2000-2008 debacle, this is why President Obama will be re-elected.
What I don't understand, is why you can't grasp this.
Did RRD get the blame for the early release again?
Guess I ain't gettin' nuttin' past you Einstein.
Gleno, I just think you far right winged conservatives are like the story of how birds build their nests...One bird hears one thing then runs and builds his nest..the next bird hears two things and then goes and builds his nest...At some point a real smart bird listens to all the facts and then goes and builds his nest...I just think you only hear what you think is damaging to Obama and then go off spouting, it or believing it which is even worse.
Both side feel the same. Only the names are changed.
Other than one side stepping aside, let me know how the 2-party system will work.
Maybe I had the government all wrong...
I only thought that all that dough I paid over the years would get me something in return.
If I had the republican mentality, then I'd just say give me back one third of everything I made (taxes paid) and let everyone fend for themselves.
If this was the way it was, then I want the government to lift the 3 day wait on gun purchases.
Romney is just going to hang out...
in one of his Ohio estates.
Hurricane Sandy kicked up the Fed Disaster Relief statement from Romney.
Nice timing.
They said 25 footers are going to be hitting Lake Shore Drive...
If you're out and about, keep an eye out for Gleno. His wife told him to get lost and he can only go east.
We are having some winds around 40 MPH today...
so we took the flag down.
That's about it.
Can't beleive New York is panicking about a Catagory 1 hurricane.
Pffft.
Wimps.
Footquarters is probaby sipping hot chocolate...
in front of the fireplace, with a sweater on and big pink bunny slippers.
How's the Sandy storm treating ya?
Gotta be a whole lotta people breathing a sigh of relief.
I'm having a recurring dream that someone is chasing me...
the harder I try to get away, the closer they get.
Thanks TTT!
Leaving for Iowa City in the morning...
Ya know how theres always sumthin' your forgetting? I didn't want to be crossing the Mississippi River and have to smack my forehead.
11-24-48

Wow...
I guess I'll have to tell my friend Jorge that the high school senior twins of theirs shouldn't have happened.
He watched as our children came into this world and shared in our joy. What I didn't know back then is the heart ache that he and his wife were going through in their struggles with pregnancy.
This is news to me that the republicans do not condone IVF.
Paul Ryan should meet Alexis and Joey. Tell them face to face they shouldn't have happened.
