cmon cmon panic sell another nickle into the close
jerk the rug out again
Agree: Civilized: I appreciate all thoughts on gas and all the help I've received.
Good group here.
I wish people would post more charts though
Taking gains is never a bad thing as long as you can keep from taking it out on yourself later.
Don't look back
Gains are good
You didn't let it take your money
Good job!
hindsight +.20/-.20 @last reported Spot$ now 3.21...
bounce or fall through it
I imagine $spot fell another nickle probably 3.16?
Spot$ could hold that through the weekend...
in other words Monday is probably Spot$'s low, where ever it ends up being
Now if we can see /ng print .20 under Spot$ I would want to bail.
BUT if Spot$ prints another low after that,
we could see another .20 under Spot$ again with violent swings in between.
This will be an interesting trade
I'm trying not to shake myself out of it
agree... take it down another leg panic selling
sure would like to see this 1hr red candle close under that red bullish test hammer head... might get some panic selling after that to test yesterday's low
cmon impress me... I want to see a new low today
how can you tell anyone not to get spooked...EDIT...
3.40 is -$800 or so for me
and you know what the foreigners have been doing over the weekend
This thing could gap up Monday for no apparent reason
but the reasons would be future weather and the roll... if it does gap up Monday
assuming Spot$ falls another nickle today... I don't want to see /ng over 3.36
scalp to end of day or holding over the weekend?
futures closed @2:30 and then fell in ext-trading-hrs. The equity market/dgaz closed @4:00
They close at different times
%gain/loss will always seem skewed
It's just more noticeable today because /ng tanked in ext-hrs while dgaz was still trading regular hrs
pokes it with a stick... What is it?
Just_for_Git's_and_Shiggles Daily: ext-trading-hrs toggled (ON) full disclosure...
Shows Sunday trades
Looks scarier... level & candle wise
I don't want to see 3.41 .20 over Spot$
...shorts/I need a Buyer's strike
~ its Friday
~ warming the weekend
...fold up and go home!
It's 9:23 here... I've stared at this enough for one day... L8r
a few charts for March's eyes only...

use this ^ link to see this post and all the charts large at once
gonna try and whittle this down from the the daily on...
The question is: where is this thing going to end up by the 13th when we will be trading with the April tick
Daily: ext-trading-hrs toggled (OFF)
Bbands, gaps, overall picture
4hr: ext-trading-hrs toggled (OFF)
same visuals... Bbands, gaps, overall picture
keeping in mind this picture is not showing the wacky high Sun trades
4hr: ext-trading-hrs toggled (ON)
same visuals... Bbands, gaps, overall picture... including Sunday's trades
1hr: ext-trading-hrs toggled (ON) today's 1hr evening star candle was encouraging for D
But need to see a 1hr candle close under 3.261 during regular trading hrs
30min: ext-trading-hrs toggled (ON) yada yada
15min: ext-trading-hrs toggled (ON) Whats up with that 50% retrace line? sheesh... give it up!
lol three front months within a penny...
somethings gotta give

Sure would love to see /ng price right through Spot$
/ng -.20 under spot$ in one day.
My concern is if /ng starts ignoring spot$ and takes focus on
future weather
and
The roll: I've watched /ng price, march right up the stair steps for no apparent reason
so many times during expiration week.
and if that happens all next week, weather will be right in its face
in the (3-5) day forecast
you've got to be kidding me. edit...
get back under 3.36
close well under 3.35 please
Evening star on the 1hr candle chart
closed ugaz
come on gas it's gett'n L8
welcome! Appreciate your thought also. See if that 5min Bband center line holds
I'm holding two small entries in dgaz from this am
the hedge 4.01
the reluctant add @3.80
still holding my 31.25 U's
looking for 2k volume on the 1min or 3.45 I'm done with uagz
won't add to dgaz until tomorrow if /ng stays up here
waiting for ugaz to clear 32 so I can slap a stop under it for the day in case it keeps going for some unknown reason.
I will be selling it today though... after hrs if I don't get stopped out
The day is young and... * edit
3.40 hasn't hit yet... let alone 3.45
for 1 day exuberance
.20 above/below $Spot
last reported $Spot 3.25
but it probably fell another nickle today
* 3.40 hit one min after this post
We have to keep in mind, this was last week's data!
I've been ask'n this for a while...
Why do they miss to the upside... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... smh
eastern seaboard still warming through the weekend...
even chicago... so says the weather channel
Unless there is something I have completely missed or do not understand...
exports?!?!?! ...
Spot$ should continue to wander down the hill until at least Monday?
argued with myself about it but added to the dark side dgaz
not quite ready to part with the U side yet
H@ll Yes, and why I hedged. But 2 notes to consider between now and then
expiration Friday the 27th: The roll starts next week... Monday the 23rd.
and
our roll ugaz/dgaz into April from March starts Feb 7th and is complete the 13th
not a straight shot down I hope... would like to reposition
assuming $Spot falls another nickle today to 3.20...
I'll exit my small ugaz position @ /ngG7 3.40 if given the chance.
I just flat hedged it with some dgaz
sure is acting like the number will be ignored
yes, tolerably small
yeah I was wondering if anyone would be going long @ /ngG7 3.07 or cashing in shorts if it hits today
My dog Spot$ is still wandering down the hill -.06 @3.25
The daily 200sma for /ngH7 is 3.226
-.20 = +/-3.07 for today only... Spot$ could fall another day or so
I'm trying to wrap my head around how this will react to the projected 231 draw

Re: /ngG7 Feb contract expiration Friday Jan 27th...
cold & snow drops in behind it after a low passes N by NW through the east
http://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/
will be interesting to see if it'll make another run @3.50
27th
. duplicate post
yep natgas is fickle
