I have no idea..
This might not be the right play for you...(and I'm not picking on you), its just that this is going to take some time. SIIR isnt even finished yet. Here is what will happen once its finished editing: they will screen it at one of the film festivals this fall in hopes of creating a bidding war for the film. They created a buzz at Cannes and made people aware of the film. This should lead to increased awareness and anticipation at the next film festival.
There really isnt anything on the horizon that will move this POS. Let's wait and see what happens when the movie is acutally screened and a bidding war starts.
I've seen a lot of numbers thrown around for ATIN. I believe it was closer to 100K based on the fact that they used digital film and no-name, part time actors. I'll do a little more digging. I believe SIIR was produced for under 3M.
Are you aware that SIIR is still being edited? I think you might be getting ahead of yourself.
Banana, go eat some oatmeal and chill out. Do you really want to get worked up over a penny stock. Shuffleboard at noon--5 bucks a game, you 'lil rascal!!
150k x20= 3M--NINAVEST-I'll find the link where James states the budget for SIIR was 2.7M.
NINAVEST: re: ATIN's budget (from 12/12/2005 shareholder letter)
So far the estimate we have from our first week's Box Office sales is approximately $58,552. This is fantastic, considering we were only in 27 theatres. In many cases we were the second highest opening movie at the locations we were in, next to "Aeon Flux." In fact, "Aeon Flux," which premiered on approximately 3000 screens, brought in only $13 million on its opening weekend. This big studio release cost $55 million to produce and at least another $50 million to market. This means they covered only a little over 10% of their cost opening weekend. Our movie only cost $150,000 to produce. Most of our advertising was on barter in exchange for our TV show "Autograph," with little out of pocket cost. What this means is that in only a week in theatres we recouped almost a third of our expenses. This still leaves DVD, foreign theatrical, TV, Cable, Internet and several other sources of income. Since we are distributing independently, we retain all of these rights. Many of our expenses in terms of advertising of the movie carry over across these other distribution methods. In short, we are on track for a very profitable first movie
Not to PR an update on Cannes, would be irresponsible on James' part. I feel he will do the right thing.
I think it will be closer to 5-8M after doing a little research. Now, they could easily gross 20M when you include international distr., DVD and cable/TV sales.
Sounds like Ken is enjoying France.

"When Your Smiling"
Funny? Funny how? Do I amuse you?
Why in the world would you believe anything posted on a penny stock message board????
It was free publicity no matter how small the audience. Just a part of the process of getting the word out. Agata Gotova (lead actress in SIIR) did several interviews at Cannes that will appear in film magazines.
Well, it is the truth. Just don't see how they come up with these calculations. Movies like Swingers only sold for 5M.
One discouraging item I read on stockinformationsystems.com in IPRE's business plan was that ATIN was expected to generate 22M in revenue and only did $58,000 at the box office. Maybe James really overestimates the value of these movies.
"The company’s projected share of revenues from “All That I Need” are in the range of $22 million. The film is being released in theaters by our distribution subsidiary, Imperia International Distribution, Inc. on November 4, 2005."

Good point..the "ole' 45 day window"!!
Million dollar question (literally) is how long the editing process takes for SIIR. It started on 4/17/06. They can't sell the movie til that is completed.
BZZZZZZZZZ! Wrong..it was trading at .0002
A 50% retracement would be considered healthy for the stock after a 500% run, no?
BLUR: 15 posts in 15 minutes...keep it up! You are going to set some kind of IHUB record, bro.
I think it was actually closer to 80-100k, which makes it even more impressive. SIIR had a budget of 2.7M.
This is the bottom line, joro44, and I'm not picking on you here. Right now the market thinks James is bluffing when he says SIIR is worth 10-20M. The longs are betting that it is worth that amount. Place your wager. If we are right, this thing will be at .03 or higher.
As long as she stays under 20-25B, we should be good to go.
There is always a multiple, usually 7-15.
Did we get our money's worth from LCO, the PR company we hired for Cannes? I guess we are about to find out.
Majority of UFC fighters are grossly underpaid, I think James could get several well known fighters on board for this movie. Dana White, Pres of UFC, pays these guys peanuts compared to the amount of money being brought in by PPV and Spike.
"Could a sea lion bring wealth to a few select penny traders?? Story at 11. Back to you, Chuck."
I think we need the buyers report PR'd with actual offers included. Market needs to know this movie is feasible and will find widespread distribution. It would NOT be a good idea to release a PR about how well the radio interview went.
The stock should trade ahead of earnings so apparently the market is not buying James' claims regarding the value of SIIR and the rest of IPRE's movies.
Wow! Thank you so much for your wisdom!! So, does that mean the Regulation D offering that ended last month was all just a pack of lies??
No, but he does have MMA experience and that will bring a sense of realism to the movie. You need to strike a balance between seasoned actors and MMA pros to make it work.
Todd, you still haven't answered my question about, "The Longest Yard". Did Bill Romanowski, Michael Irvin have any acting experience? Did the movie do well at the box office??
He'll lend credibility to the MMA fans..listen, he's not going to be cast in a leading role, just a training partner of the lead character. You need MMA pros to make this movie go off, especially in the fight scenes, which James wants to make as authentic as possible. I understand your concerns though, just give him a chance. He could be the champ by the time this movie is released and that would create a ton of publicity for the film.
Question: Are Michael Irvin, Bill Romanowski or Nelly actors in the movie "The Longest Yard??
no, he is a professional MMA fighter.
St. Pierre's manager is Stephane Patry who is also co-producer of Never Submit. I think its a lock.
BTW, St. Pierre has a title bout in September against Matt Hughes. The publicity he and "Never Submit" will receive would be tremendous if he wins the match.
St. Pierre will be a in supporting role--best friend/training partner of the lead character. This is according to James from his posts on sherdog.net (link is in the ihub box).
"The film was made on an extremely low budget of $1.1 million, and was shot in only 28 days."
