You are correct, stockown. We have all been waiting for a long time. That is called investing with patience. However, Kim too has been waiting and struggling quite a while to bring us to where we are now. He deserves success more than we do, but I know it is coming soon for all of us.
KBLB is about to take off, and even at .10, the shares are on sale. Just wait until the end of this year. Hindsight is always 20x20, and we will wish we had even bought more at these prices...
You made great points here, Romans. I agree about not getting involved with some of the countries over there, especially China.
India and S. Korea are my first and second choices. Let's hope, like Mike said, a bidding war has begun between India and the second country. That would sweeten the pot for KBLB.
I am so looking forward to the CC so that we learn what has been going on behind the scenes. Hopefully, we will have a deal with Dupont or Under Armour.
Even without any of this type of news, I am sure we will get a great lesson on the potentials of BR, and that represents the future so far after MS...
That is an excellent observation, Army....
You are very welcome...glad I could be of help...
007,
Bond...James Bond...You are correct. There seems to be a TEMPORARY lull in trading and news. Any previous buyers have dried up. We will wait for the next bit of news which could come out any day now, aside from the CC.
However, I think folks will be pleasantly surprised with the news out of the CC. I still believe we will have revenue within the next six months, and that will come soon enough. I have learned in life never to wish my life away. Once revenue appears, earnings will be very close behind.
I could not be happier at the moment, since I feel things are moving right along very very well. Kim and the scientific team have performed admirably, and I am looking forward to the next tidbit of good news....
Excellent point, Yank....
CB,
This is why I tell folks to hold on and forget the gyrations. This way, it is much less stressful...
I would really appreciate it if you would explain and support what you are expecting.
You state, "With this kind of investor relations and marketing, they need protecting." Please explain EXACTLY what this means.
They need protection from whom and why do they need protection???
Those "traders" who sold this morning at .0851 have to be kicking themselves. As I have said ad nauseum, "trading" is too never-racking and requires too much time and luck....
You are correct, jazz. As I said before, there will be wild price swings and gyrations until revenues/earnings appear on the 10 Q.
Many investors do not care about the real long term money they could make if they held on even at least for one year. They are happy to make the "trading" money they make.
I, on the other hand, do not want peanuts. I want the entire dinner, so I plan on holding for the very long term. In fact, I may never sell a percentage of my shares. Therefore, I disregard the wild swings in the PPS, because I know they are only temporary.
Once earnings begin later this year, the market will affix a PE to the stock, and the PPS will stabilize much much more. Then, we will be on our way to $5.00 and even $10.00 and higher WITH TIME AND PATIENCE....
Totally agree, King.....
And one winner is INDIA!!! IMO, the CC will reveal that a deal has been struck with either India or another country (or perhaps BOTH), and my guess for that second country is S. Korea.
The news could not be better. And, to address those naysayers who were whinning last year when no news came out, this occurred for a reason; there was no news. Things were in the developmental stages then, so they were mum.
NOW, we HAVE things to discuss, and Ben is doing a great job of keeping us informed with a consistent presence of news. Another small piece of the puzzle has just been revealed, and the picture keeps getting larger every week. Soon this year, full-scale commercialization will begin, and the company will be on its way to BECOMING THE APPLE OF SPIDER SILKS.
Kudos to the sceintific team and to Kim Thompson, whom I protected continuously, and now folks can see why I did so....
Brilliant deductions, Rayo. I couldn't agree with you more...
Great explanation, es1. I agree with your price targets. Of course, I will be dead in 20 years. However, five years @ $10.00 looks doable timeline wise for me and doable as far as a company target. I doubt I would ever sell unless KBLB'S PPS reaches a minimun of $10.00.
Since I feel this company will be the Apple of spider silk and has an endless growth potential, I may just decide to never sell a certain percentage of shares. I will leave them to my family after I am gone off to the wild blue yonder, not doubt constructed of KBLB spider silk....
Hi Rayo,
Thanks for this post. Zinc always put everything into perspective...good job...Bob
Hi Gimme,
Kevlar was invented over forty years ago. Hard to believe, but Dupont is "working on a range of new opportunities through collaborations with communities, industrial manufacturers, and governments." This was taken right off of their website.
Therefore, Dupont scientists collaborate with a myriad of sources to make sure their product is the best. They also collaborate with other companies to continue to stay on top by creating the strongest product they can find and/or create. Kevlar is wonderful, but BR, according to Zinc, is many many times stronger. However, time will tell, but things look fabulous for KBLB so far.
When Dupont understands the real strength of BR or MS, they will have no choice but to form some type of collaborative agreement with KBLB. If not, they stand to lose a product at least five times stronger than Kevlar.
Dr. Joe Cunning has joined the KBLB team as an advisor. Guess for whom he worked, Dupont. Importantly, Kevlar generates five billion dollars a year for Dupont. The company is always trying to create a better, stronger product, and there is nothhing out there as strong as MS or BR. Therefore, all roads lead to KBLB....
Agreed, jetow...I said this before, but I was watching an interview on Fox News with a molecular scientists. This man said that in the future, we will be building bridges out of spider silk. They would never rust or require painting, and they will last longer without the fear of errosion from the weather.
Well, guess who will be right in the middle of such techological advancements, none other than our beloved KBLB. The growth potential is astronomical.
Keep buying since the PPS will advance to levels few believe several years from now...
Hi Beacham,
You are very astute, and I feel the same way you do. Even bigger times are coming!
However, one word of caution. While the company is growing, especially this year, the PPS will be very erratic with large spikes up and down. On Thursay, the PPS fell as low as .081 and as high at .105.
The PPS will level off much much more once earnings appear on the 10 Q. As soon as the company earns revenues/earnings LATER THIS YEAR, the market will give KBLB a PE, and the PPS will be less erratic. Once this occurs, the company will be on its way to becoming a full-blown growth stock.
I have also said over and over that I feel the company will be trading hands at $5.00 plus in three or four years, or maybe sooner depending on how things go. The growth potential is astronomical, as long as the scientists continue to work their magic inventing new silks....
Hi Spongeni,
I still feel in my heart that either Under Armour or Dupont (or perhaps both) will pursue deals with KBLB. As I said once before, Dupont earns five BILLION dollars a year from Kevlar.
Big Red, as Zinc has said, has the capabilities of being much much stronger than Kevlar. If anyone thinks Dupont is going to stand idly by and allow some other company to take this product from them, he/she would be mistaken.
As many here know, Dr. Joe Cunning is now on the Advisory Board at KBLB. He worked for Dupont for thirty-five years. He has forty-five years experience in fiberology, and he is considered the most-respected name in this technology. Don't you find it ironic that he worked for Dupont? Therefore, one must wonder if this is coincidence or purposely planned.
No matter, Dupont is watching KBLB's progress very very closely IMHO, and big news is right around the corner one way or another.
Even at these prices, KBLB will look so cheap a year from now. Load up, and watch Kim, Ben, and the team of scientists work their magic. Excessive jubilation will abound very soon.....
Thanks, Red...It is always so great to hear from you. The Gap Band had a great song entitled "You Dropped a Bomb On Me."
I hope Kim drops DA bomb on all of us very soon. Again, I commend Kim and Ben for the excellent job they are doing. I always said they were the very best, and I feel what has happened so far in 2013 proves my point even more...
Jazz,
That was a great post...very well-stated. I appreciate the fact that you are a molecular biologist. That puts you way above me, since I never excelled at science or math.
It is good to get your perspective....
T,
"this had its run for now." How do you know this? News is coming out at least once a week. The situation with KBLB is so fluid that one NEVER knows what is coming next. Therefore, your above statement is erroneous.
The only way to "truly" profit with this company is to buy and hold. Sure, traders will make money, but real money will be made holding it for the longer term.
I usually would never say this with penny stocks. In fact, the penny stocks I have traded over the last thirty-five plus years, I have held for several months at best. Many times, I sold in less than one week! These companies are different animals than say GE, MMM, PNC, JNJ, PPL, etc... Those type of blue chip stocks are where I made money, holding some of them for two decades.
However, this is that once-in-a-lifetime penny stock, a totally different animal than any other penny stocks. This company will change the world, since it represents a movement from plastic to silk.
Silk is so much stronger than plastic, and I am convinced that years from now, car bumpers and fenders will be made of KBLB spider silks. There will be a huge momentum shift to lighter, much stronger materials, and KBLB will at the forefront of providing those materials.
Therefore, IMHO, the growth potential for KBLB is atronomical. Perhaps next week or even tomorrow (Friday), we may have another important press release. Are you going to be out of the stock if this occurs? I certainly wouldn't. Of course, that is what we call investing, making decisions while we face the two biggest enemies to investors, fear and greed....
Are you kidding me? I was a teenager in the early 60's, and I will never forget the impact plastic began to have on our society.
Soon, various silks will have a game-changing effect on all of us. This is a "disruptive" technology, since it will disrupt the "normal" way we doing things, of course, in a positive way.
KBLB's silk will change the world. It will be used to create joints (as in bones). Other uses include sutures, fenders and bumpers on cars, much stronger bullet-proof vests, protective under garments for our military, more durable tennis shoes, more durable clothing etc., etc..
The uses are astronomical. There is no limit! The goal of the scientists is to create a myriad of silks for various industries. Such is the case with Big Red (BR), and I believe other strains of silk will come along throughout the rest of this year and well into the future.
This stock will become the Apple (AAPL) of silks, and these silks will be so strong that eventually, as I heard on a cable network news broadcast, these silks will be used to build bridges.
This company will affect every industry in the future. How much is that worth????
Nice summation, pool...
Depends on the CC and whether or not we sign a deal. However, once the company begins to EARN money, the race will be on, and that is down the road this year...
I would say you should be VERY intrigued by the technology here...
This technology is about to change the world...
Loved that, King...
I have a pretty confident feeling that this show will lost a long long time. The company is like a tiny plant sprouting out of the ground.
It will be fascinating to watch it grow over the years into a big, strong tree...
...to a deluxe apartment in the sky....yes, we are moving up fast and furious...just wait for the CC....BOOM.....
Hi floyd,
It may drop a bit, but the floor seems to be pretty solid. The matter of two or three tenths of a cent is meaningless. As time goes on, you will forget that totally when you are looking at the PPS of $1.00 perhaps sometime this year.
Once revenues come in, and you will read about this in a 10 Q sometime this year, that will be the spark which blows this powder keg up....
Hi es1..I think we have great support around .0875, since the anticipation of great news is the build in we need to create a fairly solid floor. Therefore, I feel we will hover around this area with an upward bias...
I am so looking forward to the CC, since I feel we receive excellent, surprising news. I look forward to the PPS reaching .26 soon, since we have not seen this level in a long time. I miss that PPS, and from there, it is only higher and higher.
By year end, we will have revenue, and that will change everything....
Do not count Under Armour out. Yesterday, I sent an email to corporate asking why they are not considering KBLB's MS like SSM Industries has with the MOU.
I purchased one of their hats on line after I sent the email to them. They would be an excellent choice. However, Dupont is also at the top of my list.
Remember, they earn five billion dollars a year from Kevlar. There is no way on earth they will allow another company to steal their thunder. They could very easily form a JV with KBLB.
No matter, these are exciting times and only the beginning of the parabolic growth of the next Apple (AAPL) of spider silk....
Excellent, Rayo....
YOU ARE CORRECT TEC.....
Don't be afraid, stockown! Years from now (even a year from now at that), you will look at these prices and say, "I should have bought more." Stay strong, hold long, and you will be a happy camper.
Yea, I know. I am too optimistic. I am over the top. I am a cheerleader. I have been called all of these things. They are right; I am all these things. However, I have been correct for a long time now, and I will be proven even more correct years from now....
Hi Rayo,
Thanks for this great news this morning. I just learned about this. I thank you for putting a big smile on my face.
The company is moving along as I knew it would, and the news will be BIG, BIG, BIG over the next few months. I have total faith and confidence in Kim Thompson, and "some" posters are FINALLY beginning to realize that he is the real deal. We are lucky to have him as our CEO, as I have always said.
If anyone has any intention of adding onto their shares (including me!), decisions must be made soon. Time is passing quickly. As I have said before, these prices will be in the rearveiw mirror very soon...
Sorry...that should be "every subject has been beaten to a pulp."
Agreed, jetow..This board is as quiet as a church mouse. I guess we are all posted out. I mean how much can we all discuss. Every subject has beaten to a pulp.
However, I am sure good news is coming soon, but no matter how good it is, the naysayers will be out in force to negate any positives. Then, there will plenty of ammo for the next salvo of posts...
Hi Jen,
I do not trust China either. All you have to do is look at the story of VelaTel Global Communications (VELA). The Chinese did a job on them stealing some of their money.
I honestly still feel it is India, but we will see. I too hope that it is not China...
Excellent, es1...
