With the exception of the next q2/2016 spider sense forward-looking-statement-letter.
Have a feeling that's it for news, until the fall. Just a gut feeling as trading slows for vacations. Not the ideal environment to introduce big news. Thoughts??
Paltry volume. Wouldn't put much thought into it.
I am grateful you found it. Thanks.
Could these be relevant to delays, or withholding of news?
The news that most people wanted, some expected, is not forthcoming. Could this be the summer of discontent???
Certainly hope not.
We have to be careful with cost analysis. Fermentation costs may be brought to typical levels. However processing into a fiber, well we really have no idea of the cost. Meanwhile silkworm costs should be typical.
A fair cost analysis should be cost, per kg, of useable fiber. Taking it further you could factor in the mark-up on sales. IMHO.
I find this hilarious. Thanks for the laugh bob. Exactly what fundamentals are you talking about? Do they include:
*cash flow
*return on assets
*conservative gearing
*history of profit retention for funding future growth
*soundness of capital management for the maximization of shareholder earnings and returns???
Fundamentals? It's the lack of that's the reason this stock is a penny right now.
Amateurish things like this merely hurt shareholders perceptions.
Thought as much. Came across that myself. Got a little excited. Upon further look I discounted it, or at the very most thought a student one of college concerned, or a shareholder trying to deceive.
Around the corner? To the moon?
Banana bob.....wishful thinking since 2011!!! I'd say at this rate no revenue until late 2017, more like 2018.
So if our competition introduces a fiber tomorrow, and we introduce a superior fiber three years later, that would still make this statement correct?
2019,2020??
Great find.
Today's or is not fluff. It's something worse. It's a "we are experiencing hold ups, and expect more" pr.
Some people hide behind the forward looking statements.
Positive spin on bad news. But I happen to agree. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
Hilarious. I wonder how long the "newsletter" would be without any forward looking statements. 2 sentences?
Thanks. Seems noticeable news is not positive. Fingers crossed. All we can do.
Hilarious. Not that we would expect anything new, just merely wondered if I missed owt.
Thanks mike. Just skimmed over. Nothing new. Comments anyone.
Wait a minute. Think I remember that they were crossing kblb of silk worm, with local vietnam silkworm. Think thats where the hybrid comes in.
Really looking forward to the new forward looking statements newsletter. I am "hoping" it will be filled with lots more "plans" and "expectations".
I would concur with the disappointment if there are no earnings by 2017. However there are circumstances by which I could remain in the game. One example is major news. Say announcement of joint venture for production with UA. Or a contract for research with government or a defense contractor. However, these must be confirmed/verified by the other party.
Anyone an idea on when the next spidersense is out? Would have thought this week, but a Monday might have made the most sense.
I said that in 2009.
Ah 100% right.....what some people don't get. We're in it because we believe its worth a shot!!! But there's plenty to pick at. My two particular groans are the lack of tangibles and poor communication, especially after promises to improve this area. These are why the stock is 0.02 and not 0.20 right now. I believe commencement of production by years end and revenues by Q1/Q2 are reasonable targets. If no SIGNIFICANT news comes out by Q1 2017, then I may be out. Thoughts anyone.
How about "KBLB...coming soon, since 2006"
Aye worried too. Frustrated and impatient. But still in.
We are also tired of forward looking statements. Time for some clear cut facts.
Please go ahead pal, keep us in the know. Any sort of input would be great at this stage.
Spidersense technically should be out this week if I'm correct in my math, thoughts anyone? Or are we now on a new timeline, i.e. Due three months from the last one?

I find the final paragraph particularly deflating.
"Kraig Biocraft’s Thompson says the company’s first product is likely to be based on the first versions of silk, which aren’t strong enough for specialized industrial applications. These products will target the $4-billion-a-year raw-silk market in 2011. The company will then pursue industrial applications using much stronger silk."
Ah well, waited almost seven years now, whats one more year?
Codswallop!!! Right now, more than ever, is a highly speculative time. With both high risk and reward.
Truth, was the promise of better communication a forward looking statement? Because it certainly didn't turn out to be a fact! Shame on Kim!!!
Still hopeful newsletter will be out this month. Anyone care to post their eta on ss?
No need to be so defensive.
Are you 100% happy with the way things planned out?
Are you completely comfortable with the lack of information, especially after promises of better communication?
I'm still a shareholder and continue to be intrigued by this stock. I was just pointing out that our counter to the one sided article written doesn't hold so much weight as we would like. I didn't write the article. If you want to personally attack someone, please go ahead and attack that article, not me.
Here's a recent mention in VN
http://english.vietnamnet.vn/fms/business/154589/business-in-brief-8-4.html
Even taking into account the websites own agenda, and as one sided it is, you really can't argue with its premise. We've been told certain "forward looking statements" which haven't held true, some WAY off the mark. We've sat patiently though long periods of silence. All we have had are small tidbits to live with A long-since press conference. A PNAS paper. A picture we can suppose is Kim with Vietnamese officials. Pictures of spools and a glove claiming to be made from recombinant fiber.
We are potentially on the cusp of something big here. But were we not on the cusp in 2011, 2012.......and 2015? The point here is we have nothing-to-very little tangible evidence anything is even going on behind the scenes. Put the potential of what this new material could do to the industry aside (which is why we are all here, right?). It is only the company's association with the reputable institutions of UND and UW, in addition to Warwick, the adds a certain (but dangerously assumptive) legitimacy that keeps a nervous investor, like myself, around.
Until such tangible evidence is forthcoming, we really have to take articles like these on the chin. We really haven't much to counter with.
Great post. Spot on. The poor communication really emphasized by the promise of better communication. The biggest failure imo, not the missing of deadlines, which are/were disappointing but perhaps understandable. I guess we'll know when further info comes out. Sigh.
Agreed. Forward looking statements or not they fell well short.
Is this the calm before the calm? Or the calm before the storm? Would just like any kind of solid news to "come soon".
