Wow! What an exciting day. At least it moved in some direction.
Great find Yip.
Coming from the DLA, this is the closest we can get to the mandate expansion. Will be great if they make some announcement before the results.
Wow. That was one hell of a complex read. Must be some kind of coded message to announce DLA mandate expansion.
LOL.
One reason could be that our DLA mandate maybe covered under "electronics".
In which case it is not clear what is included under Government Sector.
Hi WT,
If you go to that page and scroll down you will see a button for musical instruments. Clink on that and it takes you to the same PR which is dated 2011.
Don't know why they are repeating it now.
Great finds WT.
Nice WT.
In fact I like the look of the new APDN website. Very professional. Looks like they are working on everything, behind the scene.
Gearing up for big time.
Should send this link too, to Karol at APDN. Good article.
Yet another boring and frustrating day over. See you all next week with more links and renewed hope.
I am so tired of watching this ping pong match everyday.
Am unable to stay away from the board at the same time. Just wish I can take a holiday and come back after a month and see this up at another level.
Wonderful, awesome, great but will we see some quantum jump in revenues????
We have seen such announcements so often but without the revenue impact being visible.
Over the last 4/5 months this has been the most boring stocks to watch. The kind of links we have been sharing on this board, the stock should have been flying. I now feel that the dilution due to the Crede investment has not gone down well with investors. Although on one hand the investment of $15 mn is an indication of Crede's faith in the company, the large float is being seen as a negative by many. Hence the talk of a reverse split that we see often.
Could that be one of the negatives here?
That's what beats me. If they are happy with a movement of .03/.05 cents, why do it at .12 and not at lower or higher levels.
Thanks Yip. Appreciate your commitment to a common cause.
Cheers and Good Luck.
What a strangle hold these guys have on stock pps.
Wish the stock just tears through this wall on some explosive news.
APDN PR machinery.
Yip, WT and others - you have already sent some links to APDN for posting but why not bring our concern to the notice of Karol.
APDN needs to be more vocal about its capabilities within the limits of confidentiality
Cool!!! Great linkage.
Our way into the Apple world I guess. Everything is in place except for the pps.
I can empathize with your frustration this morning and I guess it is better to vent it out. That way it stops us from taking some reckless step of getting out at this stage.
APDN is almost there. We need to hang on for that one moment when it will go Ka-Boom!!
Sierra is a piece of crap. I have seen that opinion on a number off boards that I follow.
Please ignore that site.
Wow. That's great work.
I do believe that this board does a much better job of marketing. APDN.
Thanks.
Good find WT. Wish we could get brands like Xerox in our kitty.
Hey Vans. Great digging early morning.
Some of these, like Cat said, deserve to be on the APDN web page. High time they step up their publicity campaign.
Hi A4Life.
Was just one of those frustrating outbursts, courtesy the pps.
I too recognize the fact that the Dr. has credible achievements and is responsible for all that APDN is today.
Hoping to see some good price movement today.
Cheers.
Yeh!!! We ended green again and with a handsome increase of .001 cent.
At this rate I will be in my grave by the time this gets somewhere. Get a feeling that we would have evinced more interest from industry and investors if we had sold a product enabling counterfeit products.
Looking forward to another high volume Fri. Good luck
True. Somewhere I remember having read that our Dr would nit take any salary till APDN makes a positive earning.
Instead he takes 50mn in stock options which is way more than a normal salary.
There is so much excitement on thus board about so many possibilities but I don't see that transferred to the investing mass.
Hope things change soon. We need some media hype for this one.
I meant if we do not have them we are hurt with low volume
So is that all that the average investors can do for this stock?
If we have MMs then there is a problem cause they manipulate. If we do have them, there is just no volume. Either way we are hurt.
Hardly any volume.
Yesterday was better with near 2 mn vol. Only 250 K today.
What's with this spread between Bid and Ask. (.1166/.1215 )
My gut feel tells me that revenues will be of the order of $800-900K. Optimistically we could touch a million.
However for the market to react positively to the above, we need to see a decent run up to the results. If not, even the above growth in revenues may not excite investors.
Also, I hope we see a significant drop in expenses. Expenses have been consistently high and backed with some justification or the other.
That's my two cents on the 10Q
Is that an IOU for me. If so I will cash it one of these days and I will be more than happy to provide you the updates on a daily basis.
LOL.
We ended green but a shade below .12 though we did cross .12 on a few occasions during the day.
Volume was higher than what it has been over the past few days.
DISC is a packaging and label company and has a partnership with APDN and together they provide anti counterfeit solutions to some leading brands. Yesterday Vans had come across an article in which there was a mention of Michael Kors using APDN for its purses through DISC.
Other than that we talked about the possibility of the US Treasury using APDN. The hint for that came from an article highlighting Macintire Investment Institute's investment portfolio, which included APDN.
Guess that is it. Some interesting posts related to the above, which you should go thru at leisure.
My only concern is that if we don't position ourselves well, before the results, even if the results are good the rise may be nominal.
I hope we somehow get into the high teens before the results.
One sensational PR may do the job.
Glad to end green but would have been nice if it had closed above .12.
There we go back to under .12 with CDEL screwing our happiness. Why can't they just let it go.
I agree with you.
I had also mentioned that this treasury business is such a delicate business that they can't go around town bragging about a contract even if they have one. For all we know the new $100 bill may already have a DNA tag on it. The treasury will never disclose all the identification marks.
The good Dr has also talked about discussions with the US Treasury and has never denied the possibility.
The above and the tremendous potential that APDN has in other product segments gives the hope that we will eventually do well. It is just the present that is frustrating.
Good idea Mike. They must have cashed out due to the unexpected drop in price in the past 6 months.
Nevertheless their logic for investment still remains valid and the potential for APDN in the currency market is still on as is the potential in some other segments.
We should have been rocking in the .40/.50 range right now.
Also the scene keeps changing and lower asks creep in.
Our problem seems to be the low volume.
The problem Vans is that Bids have always been low around .11/.1135 but with the spread being high and Ask being closer to .12, how does it work.
The price toggles between the low Bid and the high Ask.
Good reassuring post WT. Thanks.
Posted some info to set this discussion rolling. There seems to be a lot of merit in this application for APDN
Yes Yip,
For some reason I am now not able to open the link which gave me that PDF file but here is an interesting link to a related post on IHub.

Interesting.
