Just because she's a marketing and communications major doesn't mean she can sell. Anyone can major in anything. Doesn't mean they're any good at it.
Do you have any evidence that distributors are asking for more? Purchase orders? Letters of intent?
Question:
Are cannabis users really willing to pay for bong water?
So the announcement is underwhelming. Definitely not the reception they/we were hoping for.
Now if they have solid distribution channels set-up or purchase contracts or mj events they're attending to show the product.....anything that indicates potential future sales....that might be interesting.
They seem to have a lot of touchable assets for a fake company.
Agreed.
It'll be a complete surprise if their announcement tomorrow is anything more than pr fluff.
That's something being done already
That's certainly an untapped niche of the me sector. And part of a healthy lifestyle. I think you might be right.
Supposedly the product fits into a healthy lifestyle, as insinuated in the CEO message. Maybe infused energy drinks?
Or infused cucumber water?
$30M for FY2019 seems rather conservative to me. $50-$60M seems more likely, assuming they have that capacity.
But it didn't have any effect on pps.
I figured this announcement would get a bump.
Based on POTN's increasing numbers in 2017 and the expected growth for 2018. I think $5M in profit on $35M in revenues for the entire year may actually be a conservative guess.
For 2018, I'm thinking profits of near $5M
Doesn't seem like today is getting us anywhere. It's early though.
I'm thinking Sept revs will be over $2M
Yeah, I would think so.
And based on the increasing POTN revenue every month and more states legalizing mj and CBD gaining exposure and popularity, you'd think $.20 would be a given and $1 per share not that far fetched.
I guess for those that got in at $.002 a yr ago this seems like a good time to take some profits.
Why would anyone sell this below $.06?
Are they purposely taking losses or did they really get in below that and .06 is all the profit they want?
I'll be interested in sept and oct revenues but REALLY interested in the 1st quarter of 2018.
Maybe it'll be FLAVORED infused water.
From $.069 to $1.40 in less than two months??
Any reason or is that just wishful thinking?
Thanks. I'd seen some but a couple were new to me.
Irregardless?
Has there been any news out lately? I haven't seen anything in a while.
Anyone have a prediction on when AGTK pps starts moving in an upward direction?
I'll be underwhelmed if it's water. Expecting something more.
Kind of a big deal, right?
Why isn't there more chatter here?
I'm unaware of any THC sunscreen but that doesn't mean much. Somebody, somewhere might be doing it.
Gummies are already being done.
I'm thinking it's got to be something that doesn't take a lot of technology, recipe research or $$ investment to setup manufacturing. They seem to be on an excelelrated timeline to market (hopefully).
THC sunscreen? For the active lifestyle crowd
Edit: sunscreen requires a lot of testing and certifications, so it's probably not sunscreen.
Except it wasn't a merger. The previous CEO took his planes and left.
Like an infused Gatorade? Could be
Or an infused energy drink, RedBull style?
Not sure that fits into the "healthy lifestyle" mentioned in her letter, but maybe.
Thc water is being done by others
And I'm following up with; without actual documentation, the demand for this product may be imaginary
Skin care products seems like a very reasonable guess. I'll go with that until proven otherwise.
That's a little thin whithout letters of intent or purchase orders in place
Right you are, right there in the first paragraph.
Thanks!
So based on that bit of info, it does imply a consumable type product.
Oh, I've got a small stake in this.
I'm just finding it fascinating the conslusions people have drawn based on that CEO letter that had no concrete info in it.
Where does it say they've used the product?
This is the closest to using the product that I found in the CEO message.
"So, we shared our idea with our friends and found enthusiastic interest and support and others that wanted to join us in a start-up to produce this product and grow into producing other complimentary products. One of our friends has that never-met-a-stranger personality......"
Still just an idea and there's no indication that it's a consumable product. In fact, based on Yasmine's interest in social media, I'm guessing it's not a consumable. Pure speculation, but I think it's an online service product. Based on the info available, that's as good as any other guess.
Nope.
The ski instructor wasn't selling the product, he was introducing it. Important difference.
He didn't have a product in hand, he had an idea of a product that he was pitching.
I'm finding it so interesting that we're all reading the same letter and taking away such different things.
No.....
From the CEO message on the website:
"He’s a ski instructor in Telluride, Colorado and after the lifts closed last season, he started going door to door to introduce the product to cannabis related retail shops. It turns out, we have a product cannabis lifestyle people want."
There's a difference between introducing the product and selling the product. This ski instructor didn't even have the product, he had an idea of a product.

They've sold the product?
I guess I missed that bit. Can you show me where they said they've sold the product?
