I'm actually enjoying this retrace, even with the unrealized carnage in my account (not that my .14s/.18s/.60s are feeling any heat haha). It keeps me in reality, I was starting to get cocky :)
3 Things That Are FACT
1). On the retrace to the .40s, I called Toby Durrant and he was very forthcoming. He said "work continues" that he is pleased with and to expect news "imminently."
2). 3 days later, the PR hit about closing the merger on the 16th. Follow through! Then the 8-k. Full disclosure. Not the first time the company did what they said.
3). The company says 300MW in projects in the next 7 months, a projected 3GW within the next 3 years.
The company will do what they say, and will tell us if something changes. I need nothing else! PSPW
Patience. As we all know, this is key for the investor. You do have to answer this question yourself, just as I have over the past months.
Am I a trader, or an investor?
Personally, I have a full time job, I am not liquid, I am still learning to read charts well, and I am "all in" with PSPW. Therefore, I am an investor.
So for me, as an investor I will continue to pursue an excellent understanding of all past and current due diligence, as well as dig in to "do my share" of research and fact finding that will be communicated to those on the same road as I. This also means I will have patience in seeing my investment grow and the company follow their word. And I will always keep a sharp view of the fundamentals. If a fundamental element changes, I will seek to understand it, and either accept it, or exit.
This is just my personal approach, and I have a lot to learn as well. So rhetorically, are you a trader, or an investor?
If you've been here and watched this as much as most of the longs have, you can relax a little
I called the TA as well and was told float 12 mil and OS is still 40 mil as of right now...so not sure what she's smoking
What would this look like revenue wise? I mean, based on roockiecrd's math (sticky above) for an estimate that could be over $250 mil in rev for just the second half of 2011 this year at 300MW. Someone check me on that?
"...currently in the process of securing rights for the development of an aggregate of 300 MW of renewable energy generation during the course of 2011"
Ahhh, right on schedule, just like we thought! PSPW
Exactly. T-Dog shoots straight every time. Even if the PRs aren't completely up to him anymore. If something's released, it'll be PM or AH. PSPW!
Yeah and that's when Zoe was loading a lot of his 1.7 mil I think too, right? haha
Is the number of page views unique visitors? Or just the total number of reads? Cause I just read almost every post from yesterday through now and that would add up to a lot of reads haha. Not that important, just wondering.
So what I mean is, I think there won't be a "flurry" of PRS, but that each release, whenever they happen, will have a crap ton of great information in it IMO.
Yes, PRs will come soon as long as they are extremely important and juicy (which we've seen they are here). Durrant told me he doesn't like releasing PRs just for little things because that changes people's expectations. No fluff. So IMO, if something is released, its golden. PSPW
Yeah, I agree! Completed the merger, now lets see specific projects get financed and start moving along. Plus some specifics about Rudana'a projects wouldn't be bad either :)
Did you see this in the 8k?
"The Company will work with Seawind International Ltd., a strategic alliance affiliate of Seawind Energy and Seawind Services, on a contractual strategic alliance basis, and may, in the future, assess the possibility of an acquisition or merger of Seawind International Ltd. pursuant to a separate agreement."
I know, i think i copied the part is wasn't reading haha
"The Company has arranged with Viewpoint Investments Corp. (“Viewpoint”) to pay a $1,000,000 fee, to be paid in Company Common Stock, payable upon the closing of the acquisition of the Seawind Companies (the “Facilitation Agreement”) which occurred on May 13, 2011.
Viewpoint assisted and advised the Company with respect to identifying, negotiating and closing the transaction with the Seawind Group of Companies."
OMG 8-k! There it is!!!!PSPW!
3Power is not getting $5 billion in cash for this Rudana/Albania deal. The deal was for construction of hydro projects worth that much. PSPW
As the CIO, his leadership, connections, and capital raising abilities PSPW
looks like 1.58 Euro in Stuggart! mmmmm, PSPW!
gosh, what a day to be traveling and with clients and not around to watch this! i kept getting my email alerts i set up in scottrade...1.10, 1.30, 1.50, 1.70. I was freakin out! PSPW
Just as a reminder, P/E multiples are on PROFIT, not revenue. I know early on, some on this board were looking at the multiplier times revs; not how it works. Still should support a HIGH share price when earnings from current pipeline projects and seawind's projects are factored in IMO. "Historical and future revenues" hopefully means lots of profit will be there :) PSPW
the dude abides! i think we're all going to abide soon haha
From his "previous hits" client page: "A London based energy company needed a new name, identity, website and brand in under 3 weeks. Hitman executed the hit and stock soared 1400% in first 80 days." PSPW
yeah, rudana's projects/assets are the wild card here IMO because they could turn out to be more (or less) than estimated b/c of the limited info we have. either way, can't wait to see the filing, whenever it comes! PSPW
but couldn't the rolling of assets be filed in the S8-k, and not necessarily in a separate 8-k? I know the assets are supposed to be added "before" the actual closing of the merger, but if its a day or two, why not just add that to the already huge filing anyway? PSPW!
he's been trading options now i think. i do miss him and his hypnotoad!
sure, i just do my part on helping those on the board and good DD! i know we're all in this to make money individually, but i find a sense of comradery in a way here among the longs. PSPW!
NITE's at .82 right now so I bet we see them soon, as long as ASCM or UB don't try to unload a zillion shares on us again. Can't wait for power hour today, and just think about next friday afternoon!!! wowza PSPW!
holy balls what a gap this is! PSPW!
we're already #4 on the active boards! the "pre-game" party starts in a little under an hour, PSPW!
"3Power Energy Group Inc. ("3Power" or "the Company") (OTCBB:PSPW)(FWB:PSD) and Seawind Services Ltd. ("Seawind") are pleased to announce that they have made major progress on the preparation of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission Form 8-K (the "Super 8-K") setting forth comprehensive disclosures and audited financial statements regarding the prospective acquisition of Seawind Energy and Seawind Services by 3Power. The transaction is anticipated to close on Monday May 16, 2011.
The combination of 3Power and Seawind is expected to establish combined operations with historical and anticipated future revenue streams, management expertise and project pipelines to place 3Power at the forefront of sustainable energy development. 3Power will exit U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission shell status upon filing of the Super 8-K, and commence the steps for acquisition of its first 58MW of Seawind's projects pipeline in Latin America. 3Power and Seawind intend to increase the members of the Board of Directors and appoint additional executives to the combined management team during the foreseeable future."
i know! "super-8k" ?!?!
pretty sure we're not gonna be in the .40s today ;) PSPW!
dang son!
I would agree. However, for the small-ish investor like myself who is all tapped out of funds and can't add, the waiting game can get a little tough. I have missed many opportunities and profit before b/c of impatience. But I swear not this time, I'm learning to be smarter as well as not get greedy! :) PSPW!
Since Seawind is classified in the "small" company category, here's a description from the Companies House website that lists the requirements. However, without seeing the financials for 2010 (that is, after 3/31/10) there is no way to know if they are still in that category...
"To be a small company, at least two of the following conditions must be met:
* annual turnover must be £5.6 million or less;
* the balance sheet total must be £2.8 million or less;
* the average number of employees must be 50 or fewer."

Also, "small group" companies are listed on the same page under #4 and #5. I think this is where they are at because of Seawind Energy (which 3Pow will acquire first), Seawind Marine, and (head group?) Seawind International. Any thoughts?
