Silver, I'm positioning to do the same for year-end. I'm accumulating all that I can at these levels.
It's comical how it's pure manipulation whenever SGLB pps is moving northward! Even funnier about that hilarious IG investigation! A pure entertainer!
T&L, Thanks for the DD!
El Jefe,
Thanks again! It's great news to see the patents continue to get approved. SGLB's patents will only continue to increase SGLB's value.
Sounds like fun!! Here's my prediction.
End of yr: 2.75
Mar 31. 5
June 30. 10
Sep 30. 15
Dec 30. 20
Looking forward to accumulating more cheap shares on a dip!
I hear ya. Well, I certainly want you to be able to reap the rewards Cheers to you! That's what we'll do at the Party is toast to our patience along with the other Very Longs on the board. Good Luck to Us next year. I believe that it'll be a wild ride upwards after the first couple of production run contracts are announced and additional RTE's enter Phase 2.
We deserve some Green in our portfolio!
Silversmith,
I'm looking forward to the an increased market cap and a buyout after a serious upward market cap correction. I secretly want to see SGLB hold off until market cap passes a billion! I really want to have the SGLB hundred dollar party!!
Kanya,
I agree! All those years of Dot Connecting are about to be rewarded.
Thanks Ted! I heard that and felt wonderful!
Murray,
We've been Long and patient! I think that you've been here at least six years like myself. Summer of 2013 for me. I'm very hopeful that we too will break even by next summer on our investment and upwards from there!
Windbag,
I experienced the same thing as you. There are prioritizing the professional crew over us private investors; at least, that's my opinion. I've been successful during past calls at getting my questions on the CC. I would hit *1 immediately when prompted and I was the first to ask questions a couple times.
I'm thinking that the days of the private investors getting in on the CC's may be coming to a close, as Wall Street starts to notice SGLB and dial-in. I do understand why they would have priority over us private investors.
I'll take JR's word and call Sigma Labs; which, I've done in the past.
I really liked that JR took ownership as CEO for missteps. I was looking for that sign of maturity in our CEO and I certainly appreciated it! I think it bodes well for SGLB along with the news of expected production sales at the completion of the RTE Phase 2.
Great news today and continued confirmation that SGLB has been building a great brand. The T&E Phase looks about ready to bear serial production line contracts. SGLB is Chuggin Along! Dot + Dot + Dot + Dot = Success!
I like that John Rice owned up to accepting responsibility for SGLB mistakes as the CEO. I appreciate that in a leader. SGLB is positioning itself to be a market leader for quite some time.
El_Jefe,
Thanks for keeping the board informed on patent updates! I appreciate it.
Thanks TedJ,
I believe that the company is Baker Hughes.
Nice to see SGLB expanding into new markets. Still staying Long and Strong. GLTA. I know the flippers had some fun today.
I saw that article and agree with your sentiment! They signed a five year R&D contract but wait they are doing mass AM production already;so, they don't need in-process monitoring according to some... Well.. according to GE they do! :)
Nice!! I'll take a sale with VTT. I'm looking forward to more announcements soon.
Nice to see our partner companies collaborating together.
Yep. but it's coming.
Airbus orders ramping up
Quality identified as an issue. SGLB will help to address that.
I have not seen where GE is offering objective evidence of compliance to design nor printer agnostic software. I'm not concerned as long as SGLB continues to work with standards bodies then I'm believing that SGLB will comply perfectly with proving the objective evidence of compliance standard that is certain to be in a AM standard framework. Does anyone have any evidence of GE developing AM quality assurance software with objective evidence of compliance to design? Please post that.
Sigma labs mentioned in podcast 6:23 mark. Nice to see more folks becoming aware.

Why Investments in Additive Manufacturing Are Likely to Increase in 2020.
I'm one of the long time investors here and down in that 90 percentile range but believing that the turnaround is now imminent. I'm thinking in the next several months a couple announcements of sales will take place and JR is setting the stage for a big move up in SGLB's valuation. It would be beyond comprehension at this stage of the game for JR to make such bold announcements and not follow through. Many of us longs got burned by MC's bold predictions and it would be beyond foolish IMHO for JR to make the exact same mistake.
I'm going with the belief that sales are around the corner and that the six year study with DARPA's validation of PrintRite3D is a game changer for the AM industry. Heck.. There's just too much that keeps me here
1) DARPA validation
2) the Springer white paper with IPQA in the IMCE framework
3) Honeywell's constant involvement and the blog by Donald Godfrey
4) being approved by Boeing back in 2012
5) the Morf3D partnership and we know Boeing has partnered hard with Morf3D
6) Additive Industrie's prez saying why build the wheel when it exists and integrating PrintRite3D as an add on.
7) the constant invovlement with Materialise and with them now integrating PrintRite3D
8) The NIST, EWI, involvement
9) there's so much AM industry involvement right now that I could go on
JR knows that SGLB is primed to explode northward with the announcement of production run sales and Goodness.. Us Longs are ready!!! SGLB has been planning and testing for years with AM industry's biggest players. This thing has got to be ready go if not well.. Yeah.. Then all my Dot + Dot + Dot + Dot = Success would be for not and I refuse to believe that the DD is wrong. All us Longs have got this one right and the years of patience are finally about to payoff. That's my opinion; otherwise, the AM Big Boys would not have given SGLB so much time and money to research and test PrintRite3D at such extended length! Let's bring this one home JR. I have an SGLB party that needs to be planned and a number of Longs to meet.
Agreed. Just need to see those compliance specifications written into an AM standard. I'm looking forward to it. FAA, Lloyd's Register, EWI, TMS, NIST, along with AM industry is working hard on this but they have a ways to go. For example NIST just started the AM Part qualification project last Oct 2018. I know the importance of standards development and it's just a matter of time before third party certification requirements for compliance start to come out for AM in some form or fashion. It's the market that SGLB is king.
SGLB will be the defacto standard for AM compliance with the current lack of developed AM standards for qualification. The Big Boys understand that that objective compliance is a necessity and they're developing there own AM qualification framework because business is demanding it. SGLB has been real world tested and evaluated then tweeked and tested again by the biggest and best in the AM world. I'm betting that Printrite3D is being integrated into the AM workflow of Siemens, Baker Hughes a GE company, Aerojet Rocketdyne, Woodward, and Airbus just as Additve Industries has already done by offering customers that option. The development of closed loop will remove the human element and allow for increased efficiency in the workflow. Only a matter of time as some say Tick Tock...
I agree that the potential is huge with SGLB and JR did what was necessary to keep the company going. It certainly sucks with the pps being where it is currently; however, I still am a firm believer that SGLB will be adopted by industry. The T&E that is being done is absolutely huge and continues to verify that SGLB will be a major player in their niche market. I'm looking forward to the day when all my dot connecting pays off and my SGLB portfolio turns green. MY first buy was summer of 2013. My strategy is buy and hold as I'm following a WArren Buffet recommendation “If you aren’t willing to own a stock for 10 years, don’t even think about owning it for 10 minutes.” I wish all Good Luck with their individual investment strategy. I know the traders have been loving SGLB over the years as have a few shorts. I believe that my long strategy will pay off as well.
Yeah. I'd be guessing too on the pps.
It would really depend on investor interest.
If I recall correctly back in the OTC days of late 2013 SGLB hit a high of around $25-$27 and the market cap was ~200 million at it's highest.
Someone can look it up and correct me if my memory is not correct.
That's when folks were crazy about anything 3D printing and I bought quite a few shares the during those days.
Anyway, Investors bought and drove the market cap that high just on the hype and hope that SGLB's IPQA would be a success.
I can only imagine when multiunit production run sales are confirmed and revenue is generated every quarter. I mean a 200 million market cap would put us roughly at Let's see current market cap is 8.30 million at .60 pps; thus 200 million market cap today would put us at about $14.45 pps.
I believe that many of SGLB's old investors would return with the announcement of actual production run sales combined with positive quarterly earnings. I believe that many new institutional investors would arrive with positive quarterly returns and then who knows where SGLB's pps could be?
Hawks,
Thanks much for the post! Great things are happening in the background with SGLB Inside. I'm still patiently waiting for production sales. Still believing that the first one will be EOY or 1st quarter next year and then pps will rise accordingly. IMHO
The good thing is that SGLB has RTE's with both Siemens and Airbus who are currently in a long term partnership to develop hybrid electric propulsion systems and additive manufacturing will play a huge role in that development. It would be great to have PrintRite3D inside of that AM process. I believe that may very well be happening.
Yeah agreed! JR did a number on the shareholders. Hoping that SGLB is in position to survive financially until sales materialize.
Sol,
I second that sentiment! Still believing and holding tight.. At this point there's nothing else to do but stick to what you believe. GLTA LONGS that are still here.
Don't overlook the collaborations that SGLB has developed. Sigma Labs' target market for quality control, verification/certification in AM for series production is still under development and SGLB is the market leader. Orders will come when the AM industry is ready with an end to end process. I'm patiently waiting and watching the developments. Like this one.

SIEMENS TO LEAD GERMANY’S INDUSTRIAL ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PLAN
JULY 25TH 2019 -
Siemens has assumed the role of project management for Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) grant project Industrial implementation of digital engineering and additive manufacturing (IDEA).
A collaborative venture, IDEA aims to reduce development and production times in powder-based additive manufacturing by approximately 50%. One of the proposed outcomes of the project is enabling additive manufacturing for series production.
The three-year IDEA project is part of the Line Integration of Additive Manufacturing Processes (LAF) funding initiative, from BMBF under the Photonic Research Germany program. This grant funds just under €14 million.
The partners in the IDEA project include the software suppliers ALLMATIC, BCT, Jenoptik, ModuleWorks, and Siemens Digital Industries, and industrial 3D printer manufacturers EOS and TRUMPF, as well as Liebherr, MBFZ toolcraft, and MTU Aero Engines. The project is supported by the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT), the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT), and the RWTH Aachen University.
IDEA’s pursuit of serial production will be approached by improving the link between hardware and software through digital twins. The partners will digitize data formats and simulating processes using production control systems, to manage laser-bed processes from end-to-end. A development, implementation and validation phase is expected in the second half of the project which will lead to the production of demonstrator components in two pilot lines.
The prototypes for industrial production lines will be built in the Siemens gas turbine factory in Berlin and at MBFZ toolcraft in Georgensgmünd.
“Within IDEA, Siemens is taking a clear leadership role in helping to shape the industrialization of additive manufacturing,” states Markus Seibold, head of Additive Manufacturing at Siemens Gas and Power.
“IN AN INTERDISCIPLINARY INDUSTRIAL PARTNERSHIP, WE CAN WORK FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENTLY THAN ANY COMPANY CAN DO IN ISOLATION.”
Nice to see Spartacus 3D working with EOS and DS automobile. It's a great case study. Didn't SGLB get PrintRite3D installed on Spartacus EOS m290 printer a while back? that same EOS m290 printer that Sigma Labs has at it's shop. Nice to see leading AM experts collaborating.
https://www.eos.info/press/case_studies/advanced-innovation-for-ds3-dark-side-limited-edition-through-eos-additive-manufacturing
Remember Sigma Labs cooperative agreement with Fraunhofer Research Institution for Additive Manufacturing Technologies and BMW was part of SGLB's Early Adopter Program and signed an NDA with SGLB. Would be amazing if SGLB is working on the IDAM project. I would not be surprised at what 's going on behind the scenes in Germany. Just imagining SGLB inside in this production process being evaluated by the VDA 6.3 standard. It would set up PRintRite3D very nicely as the closed loop is developed and becomes production ready. Printer agnostic gotta love it :)
Just saw your post. I could'nt agree more!
Third party certification will be necessary for critical AM components. Just waiting on the standards bodies for guidance. Particular Customers will demand independent certification and that's the market that SGLB has been angling for. Sciaky and others can develop quality assurance for their own systems all day and that's wonderful for some. It will not be for all.
True. Just pointing out the importance of collaboration. Why build the wheel when it already exists? That's exactly what Additive Industries said. BTW this video was on youtube Jan 2017 before our MOU this month with Materialise to develop an integrated in-situ quality assurance (QA) system for metal 3D printing with a view to commercializing the technology.
It's great to get validation from companies like Materialise and Siemens.
PrintRite3D is looking more and more like it's on the way toward AM adoption as the Intel Inside model that SGLB has been pushing for years.
Always good to get perspective from the AM experts. Our partners Materialise and Siemens discuss the importance of software and collaboration.
https://www.materialise.com/en/resources/corporate/videos/siemens-shares-their-view-on-am-industry-materialise
Thanks Visionary. I'm very much looking forward to SGLB closed loop becoming vetted by those companies. Next Year I'm expecting to see adoption of PrintRite3D. I believe closed loop control should do it by removing the human element. The increased AM standardization and companies building AM production facilities is showing that the industry is about ready to start mass production. SGLB's time is near :) Thanks for keeping the board posted on what you're seeing out there.
