Your book doesn't matter. They have reduced debt. They are in a better position on paper. Yes, we are in a worse position as shareholders (dilution). We all know what you are referring to continually, it's obvious. It is just as obvious that the company has to get themselves in the best possible position to take advantage of sales growth if it materializes.
DKAM management has put themselves in a better (though not ideal) position without the necessary capital. They don't have any money. They only have so many options. It is also obvious that the loss of credit a while back almost killed this company. It has been crippled by the credit loss and poor management to this point. Management has had to deal with many factors beyond their control. They are still alive!!
Doing the deal with Mexcor to reduce overhead (yes it was costly), Cutting products that don't add to the bottom line (for now), focusing on products available (though limited), continuing with the Rheingold Beer intro (though small), are all reasons to believe that they are trying to comeback. They are reasons to believe that DKAM can geberate some cash.
At this point they are trying to get to step 1 and begin again. I feel better seeing an effort than a bankruptcy. The DKAM alive now is no where near the business plan that we invested in as much has changed. It is what it is... We certainly don't need Sneaky or Rilo type crap and we don't need constant negativity. Do any of the gurus on this board have any solutions showing a speck of ingenuity? It is what it is... We'll see. It's a gamble...
Good Point... Unless the CEO is blatantly lying DKAM is OK. We'll see. It's tough to get 5 million from nothing...
Sonny it takes CASHFLOW!
Billy,
I am VERY happy to hear that things are going well. I'm still in the desert. I did buy some more shares at .oo38 in the hope that this thing will get to 1.00 in the next 4 years. We'll see. Wow, DKAM has sure turned into a miserable situation. I hate to believe that were taken for a ride by the company management. Yes, there are people on the board who were much more right then wrong and I certainly didn't want to believe it myself.
Rilo and Sneaky were a couple of beauties. I often wonder what their real motive was on this board. Ultimately I am responsible for my investment that has turned into a very poor gamble at this point. I'll ride it out. I really don't have much choice...
Hope to hear from you again soon. I have just recently started to look at this board again. It's very negative but then again that is the reality iof the situation. Take care my friend.
Relax, you know as well as I do that the only thing worth noting is that the Rheingold Beer has (maybe)moved from the producers warehouse to the distributors warehouse. If so, it will be in a PR. Wow, tough to figure out...
Sales numbers are the key. Rheingold cannot save this company. I would feel better had they produced more beer and had it in Mexcor's warehouse. My guess is they don't want it!
You have NO idea how much I hope I am wrong. I hope I'm wrong but the history here with DKAM is very loud... It's not good.
The same he has to do with the sales of TRUMP Vodka. NOTHING...
Great gesture! I don't think it will help TRUMP Vodka sales. In fact, as a shareholder, I distinctly remember Donald Trump saying he was proud of the first year sales numbers and that DRINKS was a good company on national TV. In fact his comments influenced my position.
Unfortunately for us it was ALL EGO talking which is to be expected from "The Donald." All he cared about was seeing more case move in the first year than his buddy at "Grey Goose." Wow, did I jump on the wrong bandwagon. He has done "NOTHING" to help the sales of this product...
CONCERN! Mr. Bill there has been reason for concern for a long time now. I'm not trying to pump anything believe me. At this point I am looking for any sign of hope.
There are different ways to look at this situation. The money invested taints my personal view. It may be lost but it's not gione yet. I'm basically a persistent bagholder at this juncture. I said a long time ago that my investment had turned into a gamble with DKAM.
DKAM IS still alive. Are they well?? I don't know, the indications are not good but someone seems to be trying... Why? I don't know. Why are insiders still working this thing? Why was Mexcor interested enough to get involved? Why release Rheingold? At the current SP I don't have a choice but to ride it out... So I'll be around again.
Insiders are Hanging tough. I don't know why but it does give long shareholders some hope. Yes, it was good to see a purchase. PKG how have you been?
Please forgive my terminology. I should have stated that they have REDUCED their debt. Which they have. My error. If you do a little research you will see that as well.
Thank you for the correction. You are correct, their Debt is NOT eliminated.
MR. Bill you're still keeping the board as honest as possible! You are harsh, and you are tough on DKAM, but you have been more right than wrong over the long haul. Good to hear from you my friend...
Drinks gets a royalty per case sold. Don't know what the royalty number is. Does anyone here know?
I believe the SP would be higher if it was a significant royalty.
We'll see. History hasn't presented a good story to date...
DKAM has eliminated debt and found a way to manufacture and sell their product without the overhead. DKAM is more focused but the deals have forced dilution and a reduction of DKAM's profit margin.
I have to believe that Mexcor saw $$$ somewhere to jump on board.
HUGE sales are the only answer for a positive result in any business in this situation...
Never sold a share, bought more at these prices. The company has stayed alive which is amazing in itself.
Per the most recent CC, and the last PR, I am pleased that there "APPEARS" to be a proper focus in regards to DKAM business strategy. DKAM "APPEARS" to want to move the company to a more "Investor Friendly" direction towards profitability which is absolutely necessary for DKAM's survival at this juncture.
The reduction of debt, the dropping of an unprofitable brand, the shelving of new products, the focus on delivery of core brand orders, the inventory of those core brands, and the Regional Production, Marketing and Sales of Kid Rock Beer (Michigan), as well as (new recipe)Rheingold Beer in New York and New Jersey.
As DKAM investors (currently gamblers) we have to stay focused on the numbers. The numbers will tell us the truth. We cannot rely on anyone's word at this point. The SALES Numbers will be the driver!!!
Now that the focus APPEARS to be in place, EXECUTION in regards to SALES, Delivery and Inventory, will be the driver of the PPS. It's all about the SALES Numbers and what the company does with the SALES REVENUES. Nothing else matters. Investors will not move on DKAM until the SUSTAINED NUMBERS show a GOOD NEWS Story unfolding. Good Luck!!! IMO, COACH
We'll see my friend. When you look at DKAMs financials you don't see a good story that would inspire investment. DKAM will have to show increased sales revenue, and then an increase in sales in subsequent quarters. This is no short term payoff.
Look for the sales numbers. Let the numbers be your guide. The CEO promises, and the BS predictions, sound bites, hopes, wishes and dreams from this board are all in the same category. Useless... It's going to take execution and delivery from the company. DKAM will have to increase, sustain, and increase sales (regionally)of KID ROCK Beer, Rheingold Beer and core products. Olifant Vodka should be the driver of liquer products being of great quality and excellent price / point in this economy. Olifant is where some serious marketing should be happening.
New products cost money, money that DKAM doesn't have. There needs to be focus from management if they are truly interested in DKAMS success. After the last two years their motives are questionable in my opinion. They have executed poorly and they have not been focused. In order to survive as a company DKAM needs SALES REVENUE SOON or it's over....... IMO. Coach
Increased SALES REVENUE is the ONLY thing that would be HUGE for us NOW!!! Without it we are DOOMED!!!
PKG you are correct again. Over my time following this board you have been the most consistently correct of ANYONE! They didn't have the money to run the business and now there has been necessary dilution. The good thing is that DKAM is still alive but they are still leaking.
I am happy to see a change because the old DKAM management team was not getting it done. Nothing changes if nothing changes. It all depends on the real reason Daub left, something we'll not truly understand for a while, if ever.
I do like the current strategy that was communicated in the last CC. It sounds like someone is making an effort to focus on their strengths and execute in terms of delivery in the hopes to raise sales revenues in a push towards profitabilty that is still a long ways away IMO. We are talking about regional growth 10 to 12 million in Kid Rock Sales and a potential 2 to 3 million in Rheingold. Talk of a national sales picture for Kid Rock at this time is just folly. It's not time for any of us to hope, wish, and dream. The company is fighting what has been a losing battle for survival.
Hopefully management is truly following the communicated plan to build regionally with both Kid Rock Beer in Michigan, and Rheingold in New York / New Jersey. These two products could create revenue much quicker compared to any new products which should even be considered at this time in this economy. The company barely has enough funding to produce the beers and move the core products.
DKAM MUST push core products out the door for current customers, and work hard to retain them. DKAM MUST build on Leyrat Cognac inventory and sales, DKAM MUST PUSH the Sh_t out of Olifant Vodka for necessary sales revenues taking advantage of Olifant Price Point / quality in this economy. These are the Products that will provide a solid base for revenue now and the immediate future.
Time is running out. Is PK for Real or is he Full of Sh_t?? Is he honest or is he a slickster? We'll see over the next 3 months. Is DKAM a company this management team and board of directors believe in, or are we caught up in a tax dump for some rich business people? They are holding that damn stock for a reason.... If we continue to get talk / BS versus sales revenue we'll have our answer over the coming 3 months or less. Good Luck IMO!
Billy,
I agree. I did like hearing that they were going to focus on Kid Rock Beer in Michigan, and Rheingold Beer in New York and New Jersey regions. Kid Rock is hot in Michigan and a reintro of Rheingold (New York region) has immediate recognition and marketability. Regional Focus and Execution is the key NOW! You have to know the rules for the game that you are in, and locally versus nationally is where the emphasis belongs now and for the immediate future in regard to DKAMs success.
Although I'm sure it tugged at their hearts, dropping Newmans brands was a necessity that will take a financial drag off the DKAM portfolio. Shelving the sparkling vodka, etc. and focusing on established core brands was wise as well. It looks like Olifant Vodka will be a huge factor because of the quality and price point. Execution and delivery are KEY!
Whomever is really calling the shots NOW, has the shareholders in mind and the company moving in a profitable direction that will take a lot of time and patience. Most of the outside shareholders that are here now will not be here when DKAM takes off (if it does). Although we have INVESTED in DKAM it can only be seen as a gamble at this point until we see a continued reduction of debt, and a positive move in sales revenue trending towards profitability. SALES and continued growth in SALES is the only thing that will move DKAM. It will take time.
We'll see how it plays out because we are in the same boat and we'll be here. I'll be adding to average down. I'm betting on Kid Rock Beer's success with a turn in the economy in 2010 that will have DKAM in a more positive position by summer 2011. Keep the faith. Hang tough. IMO! Coach
Hey BILLY C - I'm still here. I can only log on when I am on R&R. I have not sold ANY shares and I picked up 20,000 more at .05 last week. I may average down further. I am not happy at all with Our CEO but they finally made what appeared to be sound business decisions that were reflected in the last conference call. Focusing on KID ROCK Beer in Michigan may be the last hurrah for the company but I think it will be a winner. That's what i betting on at this point. I have too much invested to sell now. I'll ride it out in the hope that Patrick Kenny is an honest man. Take care, good luck to us. Coach
O, the company (CEO) doesn't like or want you to keep a timeline for obvious reasons. Been there, done that!! The board will delete opinions that are not playing into the hype. The company has not produced and has not executed. KID ROCK Beer is not nearly enough to make this a billion dollar company. The facts are that people invest based on the companies performance and management decisions.
I bought into the hype 2 years ago and I'm sorry I did. It's been one fairy tale after another. Everytime it move sup at all someone sells. Your statement to sell the stock if you're not happy is bogus and you know it. We're so far down that we have to hang on to the hope that the company will some day turn around or a Heggie runs it up again on BS. Currently DKAM has been a failure and I'm surprised that they are still in business. They won't be for long if something doesn't change in the near future.
Coop, I respect your opinion and I believe that your post was a fair statement. Patrick Kenny did promise me something a while back that he didn't follow through with so there is some history but I do not know him personally. He also gave a lot of false hope in the shareholder letter that was unexplained for a long time. Too long to be considered respectful of shareholders IMO.
The postponed CC has still not happened. I'm not here to make friends. It's an investment. Based on the fiduciary responsibility of Patrick Kenny to the shareholders who have funded this venture, he is a failure at this juncture. Period. That doesn't mean he's a bad person but as a businessman he has been SUB PAR!! Fact based on the value of my investment and Patrick Kenny's words in the shareholder letter and CC's. No Dr. Dre, No 50 Cent (Sneaky), No "Topless", TRUMP is SUB PAR in sales, No word on the Germany Deal, the UK Deal, China, Dubai. Where is all this international action. I don't live on his or Sneaky's words. Results is the only answer for an investor. The rest is BS. The results are POOR! DKAM is a one trick pony and our entire investment appears to be riding on KID ROCK who stated that he was happy having a beer with his name on it that he and his concert buddies could drink for free. IMO.
I respect your opinion. Stick around, watch and learn.
Good luck to you!
Sales Numbers, Results, Execution, Performance. Measure our company by these standards. The rest is speculative BS played out by players.......
Still waiting for sales numbers. It's been months. The PPS has only gone down. DKAM has not lived up to any of their predictions / goals concerning TRUMP Vodka, Leyrat Cognac, Sparkling Vodka, Israel, Germany, UK, China, Dubai, Golf Icon, and KID ROCK Beer (Very Late)!! Yes there are a number of reasons / excuses that I used to by into. The only thing that really matters are results.
I have not sold a share. I can't afford to. If they can somehow get things going in a positive direction with SALES Growth over a sustained period DKAM MAY turn into a worthy investment. So far, Patrick Kenny has been a failure doing nothing more than providing himself, family and friends paychecks using and abusing the system. Actually he could be a success depending on his questionable motives. He and the board are very experienced which means they know how to play it.
The SEC is never going to maintain the integrity of the market and these token jestures of coming down on Hedge Funds will not suffice. Our money is stuck in DKAM and may very well be lost I'm not impressed.
As far as the board goes, it's all the same BS. I've been watching from a distance and I will continue to do so. It's the same familiar faces backing the company and bashing the company with a few new investors who share the enthusiasm that I once had for DKAM. In the end it all comes down to performance and execution. In terms of a return on OUR investments and respect for the shareholders, DKAM and Patrick Kenny have been a failure and a major disappointment to say the least.
Still waiting for sales numbers!
Wonderful. Have we sold anything??
Waiting for SALES NUMBERS!!
Well, thanks for your thoughts...
We have the money, Waiting for the NEW Plan.......
HANG TOUGH Rudy! The whole Gang is here......
We all know who is purchasing who. The appearence on paper is that DKAM is acquiring GLOBAL because it's ALL about the listing. What I said was there is no URGENCY for the combined companies to do an R/S or USE UP the A/S as it will hurt the overall price of the stock and TURN OFF INVESTORS. They want to TURN ON INVESTORS!!!
The DKAM CEO and BOD are heavily invested and they will not cut their own throats to make a deal here, nor does GLOBAL want them to or expect them to as KINGSHOTT of ADSL sees the LISTING as an important piece of the GLOBAL BEVERAGES ASIA LTD. plan for growth and profitability. An R/S is AMATUER HOUR. These guys are Major players. You will see a DEAL worked out that will satisfy EVERYONE involved (including Shareeholders) in the COMBINED Company so they can immediately progess. Which means production and sales for DKAM, growth for GLOBALS bottom line and a moderately higher shareprice in the not so distant future. Next issue. You know how I feel on this one and this is the way it stays until I hear see the PR and hear from OUR CEO in the CC. IMO COACH
Come on man. I know you are frustrated but, "MAX the OS and then R/S." Brother, that's just a hateful statement. Maxing the OS doesn't help DKAM so it can't be good for GLOBAL. I believe that would be THE WORSE CASE SCENARIO and there would be NO REASON for PK to go through with this deal. I don't believe these guys are in an URGENT mode in terms of the COMBINED companies. They are going to do what is BEST for Future Growth and Shareholder VALUE!! THEY WANT INVESTORS, They will make it INVITING!! ...... IMO COACH
You yourself have been claiming that the CEO and BOD are heavily invested here and have not sold. I cannot believe that they would enter into a deal as to so DILUTE their own stock to the point of near worthlessness. They will work out a DEAL that is satisfactory / profitable for Michael K (long run)and profitable to Patrick K (short run)taking full advantage of the listing and kicking off DKAM production. I may be dreaming but that's my opinion. Coach
Believe me, the issues holding us back will clear instantly the day this deal is done. I want to see the numbers and how they affct US the DKAM Shareholders.....
Right, we know! We'll see!
Johnny I HOPE SOOO..... I think this GLOBAL BEVERAGES ASIA DEAL has the potential to put us in the Big Leagues with a POSITIVE flow of PRODUCTS, SALES and PROFIT. Let's Get The DEAL CLOSED and Let's see the numbers!!!!!! Good Luck Johnny, I like your ATTITUDE Brother!!
Your RIGHT again Johnny but he certainly should have followed up that Shareholder Letter with the current situations and the challenges that the economy created for them. After the Shareholder Letter and LACK of EXECUTION, SALES etc., NO NEWS has turned into BAD NEWS.......... IMO
My HOPE is that he is right BIGDADDY!
I know what the Filing said and I know what the CEO said.
Here's to you being Correct Johnny!! CHEERS.......
Easy BRO! Lets see if we GET the DEAL and then let's see how the numbers play out. Mr. Kingshott will certainly want the PPS to do well as will the current CEO and BOD. If they wern't so heavily invested I'd be worried but they have been paying people with stock and the DKAM management has friends, associates and family members invested as well. I don't believe that Shareholders get screwed on this one. If it turns out YOU ARE CORRECT I will be happy to tell you so on the Board but that would mean that we are all in trouble here. IMO, COACH
