SHAREHOLDERS CARE, that's who. Of course those who do not own shares but post 24/7 anyway could give a rat's azz whether SLJB lives or dies, but those who actually OWN SHARES certainly care, make no mistake there my friend. Those who continually try to undermine companies and their shareholders should think twice about doing so IMHO, because one never knows what will happen should a company and/or it shareholders decide that enough is enough...
JMHO. GLTALongs
Big deal, the ASC is playing monkey-see, monkey-do with the OSC, nothing more or less---- of course that was to be expected, anyone with half a brain could see that one coming.
You guys really are reaching on here and RB, lol. Fact is, I haven't heard the fat lady sing yet, and I still doubt that any halt will be extended past Sept 7... IF there were any major infractions found by the OSC, they certainly would've followed thru with final charges/orders on them long ago, and the B-crews would have been babbling about them for the past few months.
But there was none, and thus the B-crews are frantically trying to scratch up some dirt before the 7th. And IMHO anything that may possibly come will be minor.
Better get covering, time is running out. JMHO GLTALongs
My ticket is also punched and has been since early 2006,(subpenny LFWK) and I'm holding tightly as well.
I strongly suspect that the only things that will be "going away" anytime soon with regards to SLJB will be the doubt about this company, as well as the low PPS. JMHO GLTA
Yep, here we go, right on cue........LOL.
Tell ya what sport, you show me where I can readily find evidence of any CONVICTIONS from the OSC and/or SEC with regards to anyone employed by SLJB, and you'll have my full attention. Allegations are just that, until proven guilty in a court of law.
Further, if you can find any factual evidence of any criminal naked shorting of any company by those who have not yet been convicted for such crimes, be sure to let me know. The FBI and SEC will thank you later.
We all have our beliefs, and are entitled to them, so why do some constantly try to manipulate others?? I find it not only increasingly annoying but also a firm indicator that the deck is stacked, when we shareholders are subjected to such an organized effort.... and especially so when done by those who hold no shares in this stock at all to begin with.
Yes, this is IMHO, and as stated I am certainly entitled to it..
ROFLMAO. Disagree. It's been proven time and time again that Criminally Naked Shorting does indeed exist. Currently BILLIONS of shares and TRILLIONS of dollars are boldly (and criminally) stolen from hard working investors each year by such crooked vermin, here's a single, straightforward description:
http://sec.gov/comments/4-520/kschilitubi5766.htm
Soon this crap will be stopped, make no mistake there, and
honest investors will then be able to freely invest in a "clear, non-biased, and balanced" market and feel good about doing so, and the companies they invest in will be able to conduct their daily business without hinderance. I look forward to that day. JMHO
You're not going to get more than speculation or copied info here either. Do some DD of your own, make some calls, take a drive or flight to check out leads. JMHO
Ballpark---hundreds of millions, at least. Don't forget this was shorted to death long before it became SLJB too, when it was LFWK. There is a huge criminal short position IMHO, that's why the B crews are always here 24/7, even tho the investors are not. They want to make sure they keep it down to "manageable levels", JMHO.
But--
What are they gonna do tho when everything suddenly clicks, the lid comes off, and this puppy boils over 50 cents or even a buck in as little time as it took to drop it from .20 to sub penny back in November? OOOOOOHHHHboy! Make no mistake, there are still many who watch this stock VERY closely, and remember it was "the most promising pinky on the planet" not long ago too. People don't forget that quickly. Won't take but one PR announcing AF's and/or OSC resolution, and another about current deals and/or projected revs for the next quarter, and this thing will simply FLY. No brainer, cover while you can if you are short.
I think many indeed know this, that's is why I hear the sounds of heavy unrest in the background from the B-crew....lol they even brought the biggest of vermin back in to play too, so what's that tell you? Tells me that very soon good things are coming, that's what. JMHO GLTA
Ditto that Red. Never sold a share, never shorted. Long SLJB SHAREHOLDER.
You may believe what you will as it is your right. Just remember, so will I. No misleading anyone here.
Soon everyone will see the truth. The clock is winding down, FTD's must be getting heavy....
Yep, we'll soon see, won't we. LOL. JMHO
Sorry, I don't do favors for those who are constantly trying to make my money worthless.
Do your own DD.
Nah, that's not what I found, and you know it, Bubba.
If so, then wrath will be focused accordingly. But I currently do not believe that to be true, for many reasons.
Do your own DD instead of listening to others, and you may be surprised at what you find. JMHO
Hang in there M, and thanks for the post. GLTY
It is all quite transparent Hock, everyone with half a brain can see that. Funny thing is that with the blatantly apparent directive seen here it actually makes me want to buy that many more shares----simply because----bashers do not bash bad stocks!
I will add more this week. GLTA
I'm certain Supt. Don Panchuk will be interested to hear more of your specifics about this unreleased info. JMHO.
Confuscius Say--Best not to play too close to a fire-- you may get burned when doing so.
I find this type of action more than a little strange...If it were me, and I sold all of my shares, I certainly wouldn't be hanging around here day in and out, doesn't make sense. I would be off trying to recoup my money elsewhere, and posting on another stock board. JMHO.
Sunny or Hock please PM me with details, thanks. Missed the excitement...
Understand what you are saying about skilled labor and yards versus jobsites but that is all relative to the actual job description itself. Each has it's place, and a good yard person is worth his/her weight, just as a good roofer, framer, or finish man is. I held an Unrestricted Construction Supervisors' license myself in multiple states for many years in addition to my other job descriptions, and have done everything from footings to finish on residential as well as large commercial and industrial jobs, so I am certainly not "uninformed".
Yep, all shareholders are entitled to their opinions here, agree 100%. Thus I stand by my statements. GLTY, JMHO
Clearly Mel, you are out of ammo.
So, where are your examples then? Rather than try to beat me down with your banter, let's see it, back it up.
Gimme a break---HD's people are mostly college students or retirees looking for a place to bask...low wage, box store workers. You obviously have no clue about how a true working lumberyard that primarily deals with contractors operates, I'm talking professional contractors who know what they are looking for and who do not want to hear any nonsense from rookies, not a consumer/homeowner/DIY/end-user outlet.
Yes, it takes skilled workers to make for an efficient and effective contractor-oriented lumberyard. Home Depot isn't even in the same league as a true working contractor yard, as they are largely consumer oriented.
Show me examples...I've shown some.
Try this:
http://www.offshorealertconference.com/feb1507hedge_funds.asp
Specifically mentions both hedge funds and penny stocks together. Yes Cheesey, hedge funds do dick around with penny stocks daily, and also make millions off of the largely unregulated pink sheet toilet as well. Thankfully this is changing daily however and the BS is slowly coming to an end. JMO
Agree 100%, good post.
I don't have to defend anything, anymore than you do. This is all purely speculative analysis similar to the rest of everything stated on this board, but based on the timeline subjected to date as well as the now apparent "open end" supposed date of the next hearing, a fairly educated person would then assume that a settlement of some sort is in the works, simply because this is not a standard operating procedural command by the OSC to continue cases this way. JMHO.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presumption_of_innocence
In Canada, section 11(d) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms states: "Any person charged with an offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal".
Agree 100% Redskies. Sulja will get thru any previous mistakes made and carry on as a viable company, IMO.
Ahhh the B squadron is in full battle gear for this coming week I see, lol. I'll be thinking about you all while I'm basking in the sun of Motu Tevairoa for the next two weeks with no cellphones, faxes, computers, or BS......NOT!!LOL.
Hopefully you in B squadron will all be gone when I return, and SLJB will be running free and strong at .20 or more.
Have fun all, play nice with the other kids while I'm away.
Tex hang on buddy, I'm still here with ya my friend even after all of these long months. Toss me another clip and dig in deep--- our day will soon come. JMHO
If anyone doesn't do their own DD on ANY stock, they are setting themselves up for a fleecing. Luckily for me and others, we don't listen to hogwash posts made by those who do not do any at all....instead we do our own DD.
Who said they were lies? YOU? Allegations are simply that. No-one has been convicted of anything to date.
If you and your cronies would actually do a little DD and/or read things closely once in awhile, you would already have your answer. So stop your spinnin and BS-ing, and go do some DD---what a concept.
Honestly, it wasn't that hard to find. JMHO GLTA
LOL, that's OK Joe, I get a headache everytime I read this board too.
You're welcome. 2+2B4, ya know?
OK, well let's put some real numbers in there instead of just "winging it", whattaya say, just for giggles:
Last year SLJB PR'd a net earnings of roughly 16M... Let's say for arguements sake that was incorrect--- so to be more than fair to the naysayers, let's even cut that in half and call it 8M. They acquired Sams and that added to the bottom line, and supposedly gained a cement deal or two as well...but they had lawyers fees too, so.....what the heck, we'll call it the same net earnings as last year's speculation minus the half for naysayers sakes, call it 8M net.
So...
8m divided by 594M current O/S =0.013468
Now we have to chose a multiple....average standard multiple for building supplies is around 20, and "growing" multiples can be anywhere from 30-40. To be fair, let's take the mid range and call it 30:
0.013468 X 30 = 0.40
At 8M net earnings, based on our current O/S count, we can conservatively estimate PPS at around 40 cents.
So, why are we sitting at .015? What happens if it is actually the 16M figure as originally PR'd, give or take growth percentages?
Bottom line---this stock is worth a whole lot more than what people are letting on about. Once the AF's come out and OSC resolution takes place, and we see the calgary store open and new projections for 2008 come, it's gonna be a whole new ball game around here. JMHO GLTA
And you came to those numbers how? What net revs? What multiple? TIA
Nice job Hock! Gee it is "almost" as I have been suspecting, by the looks of the translation....
If we can get confirmation that a connection still exists....
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! JMHO GLTA
Do you honestly believe that they will not be delivered, seeing as the company is under full investigation? I would logically assume the OSC and/or SEC has demanded that they see completed AF's anyway, as part of evidence in SLJB's defense. I wouldn't doubt that they (OSC) have them in hand at this point already...
Bottom line here is there is nowhere for anyone to run to, or way to BS their way outta this, IF they were guilty of these allegations and/or even wanted to try to skate--- there are simply too many eyes on it, and too many disgruntled investors waiting to drop the axe (along with fed agencies) if they were stupid enough to try. They are not stupid tho IMO, and are cooperating with all authorities. Soo...
Not gonna happen contrary to what you think and/or how many times you post your opinion----- the financials will come, the hearing will be resolved, and SLJB will move on. JMHO

Canadian exports to UAE may rise 20%
By Shakir Husain, Staff Reporter
Dubai: Canada is expecting a 20 per cent increase in its exports to the UAE this year, as it pushes to expand economic links with the Middle East's fast developing business hub.
A Canadian official said companies from his country see huge potential in the region's services sector.
Canada will also promote itself as an attractive destination among tourists and students in the UAE, said Ted Menzies, a lawmaker who just concluded a visit to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Yemen as head of a parliamentary committee on international trade.
Menzies sees potential projects for Canadian companies in the energy, healthcare, infrastructure and education sectors.
"We have built a strong services sector around the oil and gas industry so there are great opportunities for Canadian companies. Education is another big field where we see opportunities," Menzies told Gulf News.
He will be presenting a report in the House of Commons in September about the potential of developing business relations with Middle Eastern countries.
Menzies said large-scale infrastructure projects in the region will attract more Canadian firms.
There are 115 Canadian companies operating in the UAE and 20 of them are in the oil and gas services sectors. About 12,000 Canadian citizens live in the country.
According to Canadian statistics, the country exported goods worth Dh2.72 billion to the UAE in 2006.
Graham Rush, senior trade commissioner at the Canadian consulate in Dubai, estimates that additionally Canadian companies exported services worth about Dh690 million.
"We expect 20 to 25 per cent growth in our exports to the UAE in 2007," Rush said.
Separately, Dubai's non-oil direct trade with Canada in 2006 was Dh1.6 billion, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry director-general Hamad Mubarak Buamim said in a statement.
Canada is also hoping for a greater number of tourists from the UAE.
Last year the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi issued about 16,000 visit visas.
The country attracts between 500 and 600 students from the UAE every year
