Agreed people might not test themselves. Perhaps at least initially the govn / businesses will want to know what is going on to understand/track the spread (or lack of it); are the vaccines effective...for how long...
Thank you for sharing your opinion.
Once there are vaccine(s) in usage, you are probably correct that diagnostic testing will have much less demand, however antibody testing (Healgen) demand I think will then increase
I just picked up some; did my job slapping the ask.
Agreed now that we can put the Q3 behind us we can move forward, God willing with continuous growth and lots of announcements.
FYI I believe now is the first time in quite a while that the employees have a window that they can be buying stock again (the late filings were preventing it), hopefully they are using the opportunity; unless someone like Melissa we probably won't know. And I'm watching between now and end of Dec to see if Melissa exercises her expiring options.
They almost always file after hours on the last day. That would be today after hours.
response from Melissa on request for clarification:
Based on my looking again at the confusing different languages in the various company files as I quoted in my other post:
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/replies.aspx?msg=159394343
I agree that my 100K figure may not be correct, however based on the quote I included in that post, I do think that many here are over estimating Q3 covid sales. I'm skeptical if Melissa will respond so close to the Q3 filing, so most likely we'll have to wait for clarity. Hopefully they will use clearer language in it.
I believe what I've said is backed up by reading the quote I brought and making simple logical inferences from what the company said. They said "higher demand for diagnostic tests"; they said "The Covid-19 rapid antibody test is not a diagnostic test"; logical inference there is lesser demand for the antibody test.

My sources for what I've said.
June 26,2020 Press Release from 8-K
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/896747/000165495420007023/abmc_ex991.htm
In above it says: "As of the date of this release, we have recorded revenues of just over $1,000,000"
July 31,2020 10-Q
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/896747/000165495420008274/abmc_10q.htm
In above it says: "As of the date of this report, we have shipped $1,126,000 in products"
I'm emailing Melissa to see if she'll clarify "revenue" mentioned on June 26th, "shipped" from July 31st and (my second email to her) "sales" from your link of Q2.
Your link of Q2.
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/896747/000165495420010108/abmc_10q.htm
In your refer to the Q2 it says(my highlight):
I'm not going into it again(search for my older posts), there is a big difference between big on Covid (and demand for CODX like test) and the demand Healgen test. Does not mean that July was big for ABMC!
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/896747/000165495420010108/abmc_10q.htm
In the above Q2 filing it says(my highlight):
Yes end of Q2; but Q2 was big for Covid and July not so (this is in the filings), meaning that only some if any backlog was in July (and lets hope no backlog in July because if backlog was in July, then my 300K for Q3 might even be high)
I discussed Q3 already
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=159388610
We don't yet know of Q4 CODX PCR test kit sales. I'm not counting on them until Q1 or more information from the company (should be in a week)
Can you clarify on:
Yes I think that Q3 sales will be less Q2.
why I think this
a) Q2 had pre-order sales from perhaps a few days of Q1 and beginning of Q2, so the roughly 6 weeks of Q2 sales was higher than normal.
b) Q3 sales we know about in July were if I remember correctly only 100K; so 3x100K = 300K total (see "c")
c) The message that I got from the reports using my own words is that during surges of actual covid cases, demand for antibody testing is lower.
d) They are probably attempting to target areas with covid cases going down but I want to see how effective this is.

Best answer is that I'm waiting on the additionals that get added in the Q3 report.
Compared to last year Q4 will be better.
Based on current information that I'm aware, Q4 will probably be similar to Q3.
I don't know when we'll have CODX related tests that are selling (hopefully they have already), however just because they've made an arrangement does not mean that ABMC started selling on the date of the announcement; point being that there has been no 8-K filing (as of yet) that it is a material event.
I'd rephrase that as
Undermeet expectations - down
And as I feel most here (but the bashers) have much too high expectations for a quarter in which the trend was lower covid sales than last quarter. Recheck the numbers for July and other filings from the company and you'll be able to see this.
If you'll look 3rd Q last year to 3rd quarter this year since last year there were no covid sales and this year yes, then there will probably be growth.
Once in next year's Q1 we get the CODX sales there will be more growth. (I'm not expected CODX sales this quarter)
If you've read this far, I'm not a basher, I'm an existing long term holder that feels high expectations can only hurt us (we've got the potential for a good uptrend to develop, just don't get in the way and if you must sell do it already; a good washout before the uptrend would be ok also. much better than during)
What is needed for it to keep the flag formation?
I hope it will be virtual so many of us can attend...
more clarifications
(I've ordered this your quotes and then my comments)
Since you said "it sounds like the poster you are replying to is someone close to the company", I didn't think that was anyway true or possible, I sent that person's post to Melissa her response [posting with her permission] is:
Some statements made by this individual are in contrast with ABMC’s prior statements and while ABMC does not respond to rumors, I can say that 1) ABMC would not be involved in “shady practices” (whatever that is inferring) and 2) We are still doing business with Allgenericos.

I think you've got a lot of misunderstandings in your post. (I'll taking the time more to clarify for others than for you as you might just be shorting and said what you said as I don't know where your basis for some of it could have been...)
This is my opinion of what has happened. Everyone, the company, Allergenicos, and anyone in this until recently, misunderstood the Healgen test and thought it would be selling more however as the number of cases increased in an area that reduced the sale potential for Healgen and raised the sales potential of Codx like test. When an area does not have cases or has a reduction in cases that increases the Healgen test and reduces the need for the Codx test. Now that the company has both types of tests they should be able to thrive in either environment.
Some of those "suppposed sales", were hype and people putting into words of the company staff stuff they never said. Those liers are the real people responsible for those that bought high and have a major loss. Might have mod connections so I can not call them out directly...
All along ABMC has been selling the Healgen test to met demand (unfortunately the demand was less than expected by many), however they are working to find and sell to those areas of demand.
Allergenicos has not cut out ABMC they are still distributing for them.
The partnership with Codx was a wise move for both parties, allowing ABMC to have tests for sale that has the most demand. For Codx, it opens some perhaps otherwise limited sales channels.
Do you agree with his reasons for exiting?
I don't think it will be the Q3 numbers, there are many indications that Q3 will not be as high as many expect.

I'm glad to see you are still around this forum from time to time.
Not in the Q3, the Healgen tests have not been selling super strong that is also why they had to get into the new test. Now if customers don't need the Healgen test they have what they do need.
In the Q2 report it said
Is Melissa / insiders lending shares?
Some have wondered the above. I decided to ask
On Tue, Sep 22, 2020 at 10:21 PM Melissa Waterhouse <mdwaterhouse@abmc.com> wrote:
I’m not sure how that would even be possible. The pledge itself may not be reportable under Section 16 but, the sale of the pledged shares by the lender is reportable by the insider and the sales is attributable to the insider for 16(b) liability purposes. So, if the volume was as a result of sales of the pledged securities, it would still be reported by the insider. Individual insiders are responsible for filing Section 16 forms but, I am unaware of any such transactions.

How do you know that there are still millions of shares to be dumped, unlikely. I think we are close to the bottom and the trend will turn soon. Melissa knows that they don't have a lot of time to catch this wave and I believe they are working to have new products sooner than later. (She has her shares/options on the line to capitalize on this.)
https://otcshortreport.com/company/ABMC
I see a lot of naked short selling this month, I was assuming some of it is the MM selling to bring down the price even further so they can buy on the cheap. Big walls on the ask to scare more and more out...At the moment that big wall is gone and was not bought, fake wall?
How do you know that is retail and not the MMs attempting to bring it down more?
bk1287, I sent you private messages, do you get them?
Are you short the stock? (You didn't answer my private message asking this)
What is your agenda?
I'm long
I think you should be much more conservative based on previous information and my estimate is around 1.6M-1.9M for the covid related.
I would suggest you email to Melissa mdwaterhouse@abmc.com
I am a long term holder of this stock (My first email to her was in June 2010).
Her style has some similarities to Stan's, however there are some big differences. Stan might never have gotten involved with Healgen selling cheaper alternatives to their own product (not as good but good enough), that allowed them to keep some of their existing business that was being taken by China cheap (and sometimes poor) alternatives. [And that existing connection to Healgen was the seed for them to be able to distribute the Covid test] She instituted I think a few years ago, the management delayed salary program for part of their salary. She has made numerous adjustments to reduce the companies expenses.
She has said to others (since they asked I did not myself) she said something like: she does not feel that publicising their success off of Covid is correct.
So unless there is a material event requiring her to file (which means I believe at least shipped product if not paid for, perhaps a large signed contract with a customer would be included (however I don't see the large customers making a commitment of a contract when they can not predict there long term needs (even if they have moneys allocated))).
We are therefore left to wait for updates during the existing required filings. The expected Q filing is in the hands of the auditor for review. (With just a few days ago tax deadline and then the auditors having the backload that the deadline created, we just need to be patient)
Sorry I might be cutting this email short, however I have a hungry child still waiting on his next meal.
I was looking at level two at that time and the ask was actually .9509 (but only for 1000 shares), a bit higher and you would have at least gotten something. But agree the weak hands have hopefully left. Don't forget to set a limit sell for $10 or more all...

Probably most of you already know, but that means to set a limit sell order for all your shares at a much higher price such at $10 / $20, this prevents a broker from lending out your shares, making it harder for shorts to find shares (shares sold short create an extra supply of shares making it harder for the price to rise)

Very good share, thank you
Adam please be careful in your wording, if you were just referring to the 10M from Allgenericos (which ABMC never mentioned other that as one of their distributors) that, assuming is true) might be spread out over time.
