How does this relate to the company? American exchange vs Europe? Do we take a hit?
I believe the gem(s) in this Covid situation is credibility (with product) and relationship building (for our other possible therapies).
When Gilead wants to do a trial, all they have to do is put out a feeler and 100’s of establishments raise their hand to participate. If Cytodyn were to do that....they would get only a handful.
Our trials will move exponentially faster due to Vyrologix becoming a frequent commercial on your evening programs. I was tempted to email Uncle Nader to request being in his first commercial. But then I realized that commercial will most likely be an HIV commercial. I don’t want my patients seeing me on TV playing an HIV patient. Lol.
Thankfully the bar has been set low with Remdesivir’s approval. If this were a fight...Remdesivir would have to jump and swing just to hit Leronlimab in the knees. Champagne for breakfast on Wednesday. Oh wait...I still have to work. Bummer.
I haven’t a clue where they plan on pricing this golden nugget.
“The Couve” is what the locals call Vancouver to make it sound fancy. It’s usually spoken with a underlying tone of sarcasm.
Vancouver (not Canada) in Washington (Not DC) next to Portland Oregon (not Maine).
We basically have an identity crisis.
Check this guys presentation out. It’s a solid foundation to build on.
For the board clarity.....all these names mean Vancouver, Washington.
Vancouver, The Couve, VanHatten, Vantucky or “Portland’s little brother”.
You can see the PDX airport from CYDY main office (if it had a decent view. They are in a cubby hole at the moment.
They use Fisher Investments....in Camas, Washington I believe.
Bring your sticks and we can do the first annual Cytodyn Golf challenge at Camas Meadows. Since we all own stock.....maybe uncle Nader can file our mini tourney as a corporate expense when we get too big for our britches.
Agreed. Main Event Sports Grill on 8th and Main. A block from Cydy headquarters. Although they will probably buy a bigger building when this is all said and done.
markets open monday? I think tomorrow may be straight fire to marinate over the holiday weekend.
thank you
I was hoping for a little help from the board. I assumed someone here could validate the product with a study or two.
What are the chances they buyback some shares once they start generating an income? Is this a common practice and/or would this be a wise play for the company?
New to board. Are there any scientific studies on this product proving a decrease in virus/bacteria?
Leronlimab is a super-duper covid treatment.
When the "social distancing" lifts.....lets meet up at 3 Sheets at the Harbor in Jantzen Beach (across the street from Island Cafe). We can make it a CYDY happy hour meeting. Get the locals together.
two can play that game in the court of public opinion.
What would stop someone from leaving a review for frivolous lawsuits on their google page? hmmmmm....asking for a friend.
Holzer law
Federman and Sherwood
not sure why I was tagged on that. I am 6'3".
I suspect a federal grant is coming. Here are my reasons why. A very close friend of mine sells Ventilators up in Seattle. His company had a pretty big order and fed grant money to do it under one condition....it had to be done in the USA. So production was moved to Kentucky to fulfill the order.
Now lets bring this back to CYDY. Why would they announce another manufacturing site in America (San Diego) this week, days after a public cry for money and cashing in warrants? Samsung is more than capable of producing large quantities...180K liters. Something is happening on the local level. I believe a Fed Grant maybe announced soon.
In other news...did you guys see the news reports out of southern Cali/Arizona where they are starting a PREP study with Lero to evaluate the chance of keeping people out of the hospital?
This is growing legs.....fast.
I would like to take a moment to thank Charlie Sheen's petrie dish of a body to help explore the potential of this drug. That mans dipped his pen in the company ink more times than anyone and if Lero works in him...good times are coming.
I question the efficacy of Gilead moving the goalposts 10 yards closer to them when they found out that the endpoint of their study wasn't going to be met. But when dealing with the good ole boys club....follow the money. When Leronlimab is approved....it definitely wont be because they didn't earn it.
agreed. Does Remdesivir come with body bags?
I would love to see Remdesivir stack up against Leronlimab in a setting like NYC.
Panic in the streets. Stat just put out another hit piece.
Start your engines.....
Thought Patterson was submitting to another journal. JAMA perhaps? I was under the assumption that the NYC doc was going NEJM.
In case you guys missed this....NEJM letter to the editor from Montefiore Medical Center.
NEJM study
"Six severely ill patients received the CCR5 inhibitor leronlimab (PRO 140, CytoDyn) on a compassionate-use basis, and 2 received the interleukin-6 receptor antagonist tocilizumab. Interleukin-6 levels were very elevated (range, 83 to 8175 pg per milliliter) when leronlimab was initiated (on day 0) in the 5 patients with elevated interleukin-6 levels; these levels decreased markedly 3 days later (range, 37 to 2022 pg per milliliter) (see Table S2 in the Supplementary Appendix). However, only the 1 patient who had the lowest interleukin-6 level (at 83 pg per milliliter) remained in stable condition without intubation."
CAPR....these gains are attributed to speculation and hope....but most importantly being listed on something other than OTC. That kind of stability brings those kind of results on good news.
truth.
12 Hours until Fun Friday with Uncle Nader. Are your Cytodyn pants tight? Like Lionel Richie...... this party is going to go "All night long".
Bummer for Gilead https://news.trust.org/item/20200423162137-vgafb
Its been quiet on the PR front lately. I am OK with that. Just because the duck is calmly floating in the water doesn't mean those little feet aren't working hard underneath. I think the new board members joined the team under one condition. Take Uncle Nadars keyboard away.
any price under a FDA approval will be considered a steal....
I want to hear stats on all 10 severe NYC patients that started this firestorm.
Fun Friday is less than 24 hrs away. Who is ready for their friday morning news of test results. The fuse has been lit.....we just don't know how long it is. Gonna be a fun weekend.
Im in! Friday afternoons work great for me. Im off at noon on fridays. Look at Cytodyn putting Vantucky on the map. Soon "The Couve" will be VanHatten. lol
I live in Vancouver, Wa....and I know too well what happens to the football when you have a monster back but yet you decide to pass on the 1 yard line.....gulp.
Remdesivir cont......
"A total of 32 patients (60%) reported adverse events during follow-up (Table 2). The most common adverse events were increased hepatic enzymes, diarrhea, rash, renal impairment, and hypotension. In general, adverse events were more common in patients receiving invasive ventilation. A total of 12 patients (23%) had serious adverse events. The most common serious adverse events — multiple-organ-dysfunction syndrome, septic shock, acute kidney injury, and hypotension — were reported in patients who were receiving invasive ventilation at baseline.
Four patients (8%) discontinued remdesivir treatment prematurely: one because of worsening of preexisting renal failure, one because of multiple organ failure, and two because of elevated aminotransferases, including one patient with a maculopapular rash."
