Hi All. Been tossing this around in my head for several days. I am 59 and thinking of converting part of my IRA (actually, its a SEP) to a Roth. I have quite a bit of Avita in it, mostly long or soon-to-be long positions. I know once I convert, I can't touch those funds for 5 years without penalty and, that's fine. To keep it relevant to this board, let's assume I'm only thinking of converting my RCEL shares to the Roth. Wondering if its wise to convert now while RCEL is down (relatively speaking) and pay the tax on the gains, with the dream that when it goes "to the moon" one day, future gains on those converted shares will be tax free. Or, would it be better to leave things where they are and just take my yearly SEP contribution for 2019 and instead open a Roth with it, and then buy a bunch more RCEL with it once the cash is in there? I know to be careful to only contribute and/or convert up to the amount that will not bump me into the next tax bracket. Any thoughts?
Lol, good one.
I bought back $4K today plus $1K @$10.30 on faith, hopefully not too soon! Not worried, really. Small potatoes, I know. Wife just put the kabash on adding more.
Wow (picking my jaw up off the floor).

"The patent covering the cellular component of the enzyme expires in 2024, however, the company is seeking to extend protection via a number of avenues," she says.
Any thoughts on this? Anyone have any idea how Avita plans to extend patent protection?
I also thought the comment about Polynovo (ASX:PNV) being complementary rather than competitive was interesting. Anyone here invested in both companies?
Just when we think he's gone... Pumpty Dumpty is back! Didn't take long for him to bash someone either.
I applaud those on this board endeavoring to gather information and to share their knowledge on Avita, and have enjoyed the constructive dialog. I've learned so much from many of you. From the trader boy with the Superman fetish who flaunts his arrogance, not so much. Although, at times he can be entertaining!
Me too, jugs @$8.66. We’ll look back one day at these as bargain days. ??
You've heard it from the self-proclaimed expert, moon boys. Uranus has spoken!
RCEL is on sale today so, I went shopping. And since I'm long and not a day trader, I ain't worried one bit.
Be the ocean, not the waves.
Forgive my naivete but, if the price is dropping pre-earnings and then earnings turn out to be negative, would that not hint that someone is trading on insider info?
Bravo!
Nail. On. The. Head.
Thank you!
I opened a small position on 12/13/19. Wow, what a bump today!
"Kanye" lol.

Rock on, Avita.
I'm too unsophisticated to do any more than buy on the dips (aka Mike's "dumps") or, whenever I had some fresh powder, and hold. From $1.39 to $9.36. And, it hasn't worked out too badly thus far. Anyone here had the chutzpah to buy over $10?
Got you're PM, jugs. Thanks. I aspire to emulate Mark Twain's wit (and sarcasm).
My bad. it was .02/share. I also have Fidelity and read this:
Some ADRs are subject to periodic service fees, or "pass-through fees," intended to compensate the agent bank for providing custodial services. These charges, if any, generally run $0.01 to $0.03 per share. Information on any such fees should be available in the ADR prospectus. For ADRs that do levy this fee, it may be deducted from the dividend, if the company pays one, or it may appear as a separate fee on your monthly statement.
I just got charged a 2% fee on my shares of RCEL. Assuming this is an annual fee? Anyone else experiencing this?
"Yes all stocks dump. Lol. It just dumped . is it done dumping? I don’t know but it did dump and I profited. thank you"
Words of wisdom, indeed! With the masterful syntax, misplaced and excessive periods, forgotten commas and caps, I thought it must have been a tweet from our president.
Oh, and I'll be buying more RCEL today.
Thanks for posting! That's our local burn unit here in New Orleans. My wife first found out about RECELL on an emergency preparedness tour of the facility and, soon afterwards we started investing in Avita. We're so lucky to have cutting edge technology right here in our own backyard!
Mike, I hope you drank so much Kool Aid today and bet the farm on Avita, and that it goes to $45/share next week, and you sell it precisely at its all time high and you can retire... and then go away and find the message board of another company to whine on. No, really!
I noticed that too, Fitz1030. Seeking Alpha shows RCEL 30 Day avg. volume of 341k, 7 Day is 921k.
Picked up 77 shares at $7.77 today. Me, superstitious? Whaat?
What a great idea. Merry Christmas, Mike.
Roger that!
Agreed. If only Avita could develop a spray to heal self righteous 'holery... sigh
I picked up a few more at 7.13
Yeah but, tell us how you really feel about them, Jugs. lol
Quite a wild ride today! I happily managed to pick up a few more shares on the way down this morning at $7.77.
awesome, Fitz!
Love this board. Thanks for posting, Fitz.
Yay!
Just a couple of questions from the novice here... So, if Avita, for some reason, doesn't get NASDAQ listing, would that be announced along with the reason(s)? Also, if it is listed, do we know what the new symbol would be? And, how would NASDAQ listing affect AVMXY?
Thanks, melody. I figured as much!
Ok, I'm not one to overreact, but reading the 20-F, Item 3 Key Information, Section D, Risk Factors, was a little unsettling. Maybe they should just call it "Section D, Doomsday Scenario."

I see, thanks. So, I've been watching AVMXY through my Fidelity account and I notice that the price per share seems to change several hours after the closing bell and then reset at the next day's opening. Is that some sort of adjustment based on the exchange rate, or the ADR?
Am I missing something? What's the connection between AVH and ADR?
Thanks jugs!
Added 166 shares with all the dry powder I had left today bringing me to over 2900 shares. I don't remember which one of you prognosticated "$10 by Xmas" but, I sure hope you're right!
Wow... thanks for some perspective, dndodd!
Just curious... my shares of AVMXY now make up about 10% of my portfolio, by far my largest position. Too risky? I'm definitely long and no intentions of trimming for the foreseeable future (I'm in my late 50s and healthy). In fact, I may buy more. Seems like everyone posting on this board feels we've all found a winner, I just wonder if I'm letting my enthusiasm override my better judgement. Thoughts?
