But what about my martini?! There should be special consideration here! I may have to sneak a bottle past the border.....i'll call it medicinal.
I know the boss lives there but why hold it in Salt Lake and not Cali where we can check out HQ? But most importantly, it's impossible to get a decent martini in Utah!
Who's all going to this shindig?
I paid my 2014 taxes today and didn't have to liquidate and shares. Whew! A bittersweet day.
I don't hold any stock under $3. SLTD is not marginable with scottrade under $3. I'm talking about them adjusting the requirement above $3 without warning. I'm hoping to transfer this acct.
Scottrade just made margin requirements on this stock 100% in my account, essentially removing it from the margin list. I have a very small margin in terms of account value and this has ticked me off as they have been increasing the requirements on a regular basis without warning. I'm planning to move this account out of principal, any suggestions? I'd like to keep the margin available as well.
If I sold right now I'd triple today's volume.....zzzzzz zzzzz
It's in the political realm now. Check all common sense at the door and expect continued delays as they work to find ways to get some of the sugar directed to campaign contributors.
Who the heck had an estimate of $.06 EPS and how did they come by that number? Jan purposely stayed away from earnings guidance at last quarter's conference call. This smells like fish guts to me by someone who wants to short some shares.
Melanie got a call in. Lol
Company not taking questions from the clown car. Only taking questions from institutional callers. Smart move.
Confirmed, all numbers EXCLUDE Fresno.
Like I said, the contract hasn't been awarded yet.
No direct mention of Fresno. Besides, until the council hasn't yet awarded the contract.
Bid awards are generally a housekeeping item and go quickly. :)
Thanks for the live play by play. Fresno isn't mobile compatible.
It will most likely be included on the consent agenda and be passed en mass with all the other housekeeping items at the beginning of the meeting.
You should be able to get a full agenda a few days prior to the meeting(not sure about Cali public meeting rules) to see if that's the case. If so, then it's almost certain to pass unless a council member decides to remove it from the consent agenda at the very beginning of the meeting and open the line item up for discussion as a specific agenda item.
One reason to open debate may be the fact that we were the only bidder on the project. Their rules may allow for it to go back to bid a second time in this circumstance and council may want to discuss this in public to cover some political rear end. I'm not going to waste my time to find out their rules, but it's a possibility.
Most likely they will pass it regardless because it's a feel good project and often that overrides concerns of the public treasury for people of that particular political mindset. At least one can only hope that they stay true to form for our sakes!
Tim must have bought back in
Good morning
Whenever you show up we know the downtrend is about to reverse. Thank you...green days are coming!
Lots of money to be made in the climate change issue. When science sold out and altered data for politics and grant money, I checked out of the debate and decided to do whatever China decides to do on CO2 limits.
JN is ringing the bell today. Here I thought we were all just dreaming when we spoke of this so many months ago!
I have scottrade and asked that question. They went from 50% margin to 5% without warning me about a month ago. The reason that they gave was that the beta was way out of their norms due to the big drop and recovery just after NASDAQ listing. They reassess the stock every day and will adjust the margin requirements as the beta normalizes.
Once the stock is over $5, it will meet another threshold for relaxing margin as well.
I'm so glad that you are back. I miss your style. One thing to consider is that JN stepped away from the table on a recent acquisition attempt. It was a good move, however it may have put a dent in his timeline for the year.
Time will tell, however I suspect that after two successful acquisitions he is now getting calls from other companies who want to join the team and the time between acquisitions may get shorter.
You could call in for a manual trade the same day. It took about three trading days for scottrade to allow internet trades post split. Others were a day before a day later but about 3-4 biz days in general.
This board has died off, has everyone moved to Twits? I like the format there and no random censorship as far as I can tell.
However, it is impossible to say much with the Twitter format...which isn't exactly a bad thing
Agreed on the acquisition timing. I've always wanted to try a swing trade or two but SLTD is one company that I'm more terrified being out of than in!
We made a top pick. For what it's worth: http://stks.co/f2B9W
I'm finally agreeing with you. We hate the day that you did too.
Good one! LoL.
This public service announcement brought to you by......
As long as we have such a low float, this will be a common occurrence.
Same here. Terrified to be out. Knowing my luck, the one time I try for a flip and repurchase the pps will skyrocket the day after my sale and not look back at me standing in the dust.
8.9m if it's not taken
The fact that you save this user ID to almost exclusively bash this company...the better our news gets, the more you distort and compromise yourself. That, and the fact that you spend so much time and energy doing it leads me to believe that you have a not so honest motive.
Who are you doing this for and why? Do you get paid per post or are you the voice of a stock flipping group?
I'm dying to know, since what some guy like you says on the Internet has to be true.
It seems the mid day sell is about over. Considering that the broader markets are sucking wind and we stepped back from filling the early March gap this morning, we did pretty good.
I will need a fresh diaper if JN announces an acquisition or major project this or next week. He has a habit of back to back PRs.....
Speaking of spinning.......
It's all summed up in the adjusted EBITDA. That number is meant to regress out all the accounting gimmicks and give a picture of what the real core business is doing.
Our adjusted EBITDA is $1m, up from a loss the last period. That, and the future success in our business plan is what the market is trading on.
That's classic. Very true and accurate. You cant be censored for accurate translations of an existing post
It's an annual report for 2014, not a first quarter 2015.
You thought this was a Q1 2015 report?! LoL.
